This rant isn't directed against the OP or anyone in particular, it is my general opinion.

I think locking some threads or deleting certain posts is a good thing when they become focus points for irrationally negative posts. The FTVx thing is a good example, the reasoning for those updates has been explained, Rob's opinion of the quality of those updates has been explained, yet STILL people feel the need to complain about it, when the answer is real simple, if you don't like those updates, don't look at them. Pamela's thread is another example of irrational negativity. So she wasn't perfect, what was Rob supposed to do about it? Ship her off to Siberia? People need to be a little realistic about things things before they post sometimes, these are real women and yes, sometimes they do have scars, or tattoos, maybe she looks a little too skanky, or a little too much/too little body fat or something else the poster doesn't like, but really guys, is it THAT important. Once the model has arrived, unless the whole package is so flawed that she is useless, it is still a business and Rob still needs to shoot her. Just wait for the next update if the current model doesn't do it for you, you don't need to tell us about it, especially people don't need to to tell us that that particular model is why they are thinking about canceling or whatever.

It is not like Pamela was a hag or anything, maybe she had some little flaw that needed to be concealed, so what. When I see posts like that I think W...T....F....get a life dude.

One of the great things about FTV is that we get to see a wide diversity of real women here, there is no cookie cutter involved. People just need to understand that before posting and realize that not everything that appears here is going to be something they like.

I don't know, in my mind there is a difference between discussing what people liked or disliked about a model/update/shoot in a thread and complaining. I'm sure if the people dislike something that match, they'd email Rob about it, ala FTVx updates.

I guess I just don't think every post or thread has to be with rose colored glasses about how great every single thing FTV does is.

Default Agree with Natal

Natal has summed up my thoughts on this pretty well.
I have started to get irked by all the negatives repeated over and over regarding the FTVx updates. If people have followed this from the beginning, Rob finally gave in to many members who were begging to see this stuff, me included. Once a month and for a limited time! Get over it and don't check it out if you don't like it. It is not the beginning of the end of FTV as we know it.

As for the models, I'm glad when Rob has them covered in certain areas to have them looking as good as possible, accentuating their best qualities. Critisism is fine but I cringe when it becomes mean spirited.

I don't think it's fair that Pamela's thread should be closed just because people are dicussing something negative about the model. Isn't that kind of the point of the forums? To discuss stuff?

That said, I'm 100% behind closing the FTVx thread. Keeping that thread open and allowing more people to keep posting just promotes stupidity. Why read through the thread and see your question, posted by other people, answered 3 times when you can just post it again? There's nothing left to discuss there, everyone made their point, now all that's left is stupidity and crybabies.

This is a good point, but the forum is also a good way for rob to find out how his site is going, there is a lot of feedback here, he only replays to some of the post's as other don't really need to be done as we the members help new comers and old member with questions they have giving rob more time to shoot than answer emails.

Rob could turn the forum in a pay for service, or only let people that have an FTV or DanielleFTV pay for account use the board, this would shorten the amount of people coming and also spamming the site, as they get to use it when they pay for FTV or DanielleFTV.

As forums go, there will also ways be people not liking things about a forum, leets take the fact it's a porn forum, you can't say p***y, as it's classed as "rude", but the whould site is "rude", so what can we do, if the site say's not to use them words, then don't or leave, but I feel some people need to look at it fully and ask is what ios going on, on this forum really that bad?
