I grew up in the 60's and early 70's. My preferred music is 60's Folk and Rock N Roll, 70's Rock, plus I like Contemporary Country and Country Rock. I like most types of music except for Rap and Opera. There's even some Disco that I like. But after the 70's it's based on individual artists and/or individual songs rather than a wide selection of music types.

P.S. I also like a lot of 50's Rock N Roll

Agreed. With the occasional bit of '40s Big Band swing stuff thrown in for variety.
We fifties born and fifty plus guys seems to have similar tastes.
