I guess one of the worst things that can happen to you while handling explosives is letting it turn into a habit. That's when people stop giving attention to what they do. ("The last 100 times nothing happened. Why should something happen right now?")

The closest I've come to explosives was holding my rounds at the shooting range when I served in the Medical Corps. I can't imagine ever to drop attention when handling explosives (which doesn't occure these days anymore).

I hope the guy got only a simple fracture, so it can heal quickly.
he was only caring 1 box they are about 6in wide 6in high about 12 in long it was 50cal amo. i gess he fell on the box and it is a steel box so his arm gave before the box did. he broke bolth tib and fib in his right arm. You were in the medical corps? I m a combat medic with the 13th meu soc. recon. reserv. that is what i will be doing the end of next month.
