Rob, the owner and head of FTVGirls has stated repeatedly how hard it is to find models who DON'T have tattoos. There are virtually none.

If you search the forum for "Tattoo" you'll find dozens of examples.

Don't really see what the big deal with tattoos are. If it's something like Brooke Banner, then yeah, it is a bit annoying but it's not like I care much for the skin of their arm; but everyone seems to go crazy over even the slightest ink.

Guess it's just something I'll never understand, personal preference and whatnot.

Exactly..nothing wrong with a bit of ink. (unless your janine lindemueller[sp?]). Some girls do too much, some do just enough. But to each his own. It doesn't necessarily ruin a shoot.

Unless your boobs are smaller than mine (I'm a dude without them thank god) OR one is twice as big as the other OR just they just f'd up lookin, stay away from the plastique ladies WTF?!?!??! I agree 100%. I'd take someone covered head to toe in tats over someone with the fake boobs. Especially considering most of them end up looking horrible. Atleast Meggan (Meggan Malone) ended up looking halfway decent with hers. Still think she loooked better before but as with most people that end up going mainstream porn, they end up getting fake.

This is feedback on my FTV experience. It's primarily for Rob to mull over. I'm hoping this criticism is taken in a positive way and leads to improvements in the site. Not that it's bad in any really significant way as it is...

First off, a little background. I'm probably a very typical FTV customer. Happily married with children, age 44, middle-income, technical computer background. Downloading adult stuff to add to the secret collection the wife/kids will never know about. Can't keep an ongoing membership because hiding the charges from the wife is a little tricky. Typical & a little pathetic, eh?

So... I intended to subscribe to the site for a month, skim thru the models, and download the ones that appeal to me most. Problem is, files do not have a unique naming scheme, so as soon as I started to download the second scene of even the same model, the file names started colliding. i.e. 01hd.wmv would get overridden. And I don't have the time/inclination to start manually renaming and organizing files - it's just not worth it.

Thinking about for a few minutes, I decided to unleash a download manager on the site. This would keep the site directory structure intact (unlike directly downloading the files), pull the site down at night, then I could browse the content locally and delete the stuff I don't want. I chose Free Download Manager, set it up, fired it off, and went to bed. The next day I realized just how big the site is - it's HUGE! This isn't a bad thing. But FDM started going crazy, hogging the CPU and not using much bandwidth. Apparently the tool isn't meant to spider such a big site. So I searched around and decided to give HTTrack a try. The tool is tricky & less intuitive to use, but got somewhat better if still mixed results.

So this leads me to my first suggestion. The FTV web site structure is rather strange, with files strewn in odd places. It seems pretty disorganized... Especially the split between "www.ftvmembers.com" and latest1.ftvmembers.com - that caused me to have to re-spider the site several times in an attempt to get the downloading tools to pull down the whole site correctly. I'm a professional software developer who has done a lot of web server work and I'd never let something this disorganized out the door. (Sorry, Rob- not trying to insult you here)

There are tools that could easily reorganize the outward facing site while not causing chaos on the back end. Or at least give files unique names. You might want to look into this, Rob. Also, you might want to decide on a download manager policy, and if you support it recommend a tool & structure the site to facilitate batch downloads. As it is, I wasted a fair amount of (my & your) bandwidth finding the proper download settings. I sure hope you have an unlimited bandwidth plan!

That's my primary gripe. Ok, moving on...

I have nothing but the highest praise for the site in general. Rob, you have excellent taste in women. The fresh, pretty girls who haven't been ruined by the industry (yet?) is exactly what I like and I'm sure you know this focus is what makes your site such a big success. But one suggestion would be that the models better shave their private parts before a shoot. I personally don't bush, but just as bad or worse is stubble, stray hairs, razor-burn, ingrown hairs, etc. Other sites (ALS for example) do a much better at getting a clean, smooth shaved look from their girls. I don't know how they do it, but that would be an improvement. Also having the girls douche etc would be good. I hate to think who's white goop dripping out might be. I like clean, clean, clean.

Photography, especially the video... Well, don't shoot the messenger but I think there is room for improvement here, too. To my untrained eye it looks like you shoot at least the videos using natural light. This may be pleasant for the models, but the raw footage quality suffers, especially indoors. In many cases, video footage is somewhat dark & murky, (especially where it counts!) and often has a color-cast from colored walls, etc. I think some high-quality umbrella lights in some key positions would make a world of difference. I like the soft effect you get, but that can be had with plenty of light in the shot at the same time, right? And the HD cameras sure seem to like a lot of light... I'm not sure what the differences are, but sites like givemepink.com seem to get sharper, more saturated videos at a similar data rate.

Ok, that's about it. Sorry for the long post.

PS - Some random thoughts - I won't be here to enjoy improvements & updates, at least not for another year or so. Which is too bad. The FTV site makes me think that I may have missed my true calling - starting a site similar to FTV back in the days before I got tied down with obligations. One of my early girlfriends actually wanted to publish her super hardcore pictures in a men's magazine, but I backed out when she said she was doing it to get back at her parents (for obvious reasons.)

Please remember too, that FTV is pretty much a one man operation. Rob shoots practically all of the content, both video and stills, edits 100% of it and probably does umpteen dozen other things that we who don't run websites have no idea about. If he's not the hardest working man in the adult industry, I don't know who is.

why with all the good quality i have seen. being a on and off member of the site ftvgirls. all the peeps out in the site hating on the ftv staff. they work hard bringing girls that look sexy center stage for all to look at. i just dont know what is wrong with people these days. i love the site, the girls, and the new x clips. guys keep it up. love the site. and if may and i know it might not happen. my favorites are rose and violet. if possile bring those two back. but if cant, thats ok. again love the site keep it up

I agree with TypicalUser in that the redundant use of file names in an update is a nuisance. But, since I have a brain and at least one finger that works, I can overcome it.

Don't know what the tattoo hate is about either. If anything, it slightly made me feel bad that Meilani had to cover her fairly large sleeve tattoo with makeup, hopefully she didn't feel uncomfortable about it in anyway.

I'm not a big fan of Tats on females,but if they few,not overly large and in the right places then I can live with it.Danielle for example hers I never had a problem with due to thier location and size and how few she had.
The one I hate the most are large pieces such as full back pieces, sleeves and the ones that takes up the whole leg.
As for Rob's site its the best one I ever came across even with the tats.Its rare that I ever come across a model I didn't like due to her tats.

I do believe it's time for a huge makeover for this site. This site was built when the internet was younger. Now we look at this stuff on phones and iPad's. I have always hated that I have to rename all the file names. And the splash shot in the beginning of every segment is bothersome. Only opaque titles should be used at the bottom of the screen and for the previews. All in the spirit of Kaizen.

Get an Only1 prepaid Visa card at the grocery store and buy Reloadit cards using cash to put money on it. Totally anonymous. No mail, no statements, nothing and your wife does not need to know.
