FTV Model of the Year - 2009, Any early predictions??

I know the voting doesn't start until January, but if I had to make a prediction right now, I'd bet that the top 10 will be some combination of:

April
Alanna
Taylor
Anne
Victoria
Sadie
Lilith
Rilee
Mandee
Amelia

Of course, that's not really going out on a limb, so now for the crazy part, I believe the winner will be........drumroll, please................Anne!
Yes, I said Anne, the one whose update isn't even out yet! If the preview and Rob's highly enthuasiastic description are any indication of how good it's going to be she should do very well indeed. The remainder of the top five will be:

Taylor
Alanna
Victoria
Mandee

This is all wild-ass guessing on my part and I'd like to hear other opinions.

I'm super bummed that Melina is being pushed to January, taking her out of the running for 2009 and basically ruining her chances for 2010. She seems like a wonderful girl and her update should be excellent.

I guess you should be diplomatic and not say. You wouldn't want to skew the results.

Is Anne going to be the final update for 2009, or will there be one more? It seems like there'd be time to squeeze another in.

I cannot say who it will be either, though I am anxiously awaiting the Melina update...she definately has the look that most appeals to me...other tops of 2009 for me are:

I would have put Tatiana in there if her shoot had been true FTV, but on pure looks, she is definately in my top.

Both Rilee and Sara are becoming visible everywhere, I posted their Model Mayhem profiles (thread was deleted) and both will be on Nubiles together and solo, they each have their own sites launching and and I sure they will be on other sites as well...Karups Hometown Amateurs is a common crossover to the other as well. They will drop off my list of favorites once they become over exposed, I really like the innocent first timers, particularly those that FTV may be their only shoot EVER!...keeps them in that attainable to me, girl nextdoor or barista category

Alanna actually visits this board, and she is pretty excited to see where she gets voted. For now I'm completely in the dark as to what sort of girl will be in the top this year. And how close it would be to 2nd place, 3rd, etc...

Hands down, Taylor Vixen. I think there are several sexy girls this year, but without a doubt Taylor takes the cake. Alanna, would probably come in second, and Courtney and Victoria would probably come in third and fourth respectively. I predict Zeba will do well, even though I didn't care for her update this year AT ALL, but I know she was popular among other FTV fans.

1) Anne for sure. I don't normally like fake boobs but when they're well done and fit the woman's frame they can look amazing (as hers do). That accent... what more can I say, it made me melt the second I heard it. Doesn't hurt that her release day is on my birthday either thanks for the birthday present Rob.

2) Amelia. Amelia has a tight body, lots of money, still a virgin at 20 (well somewhat anyway) and she looks like she would be an absolute minx in the bed once she gets there.

3) Claire. Something about my Italian heritage means I just cant turn away from a misty eyed olive skin lady. (not that I'm complaining).

4) Tossup (no pun intended) between Victoria and Brigitte. Both are beautiful and have charm in their own ways.

If you want to get a preview of how interesting a particular girl has been for the average member, just look at the number of views that girl's thread gets. Rilee blows everyone else out of the water, in fact she probably has more views than the next three top girls combined. Of course that isn't predictive of how voting will go, but I think it's pretty clear that Rilee is going to be way up there.

The amount of views Rilee's thread has means she's popular with the people who post on this forum, but I'm sure FTVGirls has way more members than the 307 who are active here. That said, I believe Rilee will probably do very well. If I were to do it over again, I'd probably put her in the top 5. I still don't think she'll win though.

The view count doesn't make sense. The thread started Nov 1 2009 and has 23,386 views.

Danielle's journal started Sept 28 2008 and has 33,656 views.
Update suggestions has 18,553 started Sept 2008
Replies to her journal has 26,408 views and started sept 28 2008.

I don't buy that Rilee is soooo popular that the thread got as many page views in 2 months and Danielle has in her most popular threads in 15 months.

Well, the voting is now open and Rob has included Melina! I'll have to reconsider my top 5 for sure now.

Because Rilee is the kind of teenager that the average guy dreams about, cute, youthfull, sexual but not too "over the top". The sort of guilty pleasure that might not be openly expressed but comes out in this sort of vote.

Its simple: Teeny looking, skinny type girls with long hair will always be the most popular in adult internet. Nublies and Allscan capitalize on this for example. They "get support" when Rob pays them. WHY should every model get votes? Isn't the idea to pick the most popular girl for 2009? The way the system is now, it's not really a good cross section of the FTV membership but the results of a few "devoted fans" voting over and over for certain girls. In a perfect world, each and every FTV member would get to vote, once, for one girl. Then, from the 18,000+ membership Rob boasts, there might be a membership consensus. Right now, it's on the level of American Idol where the winner is based on which fans are willing to vote over and over and over again until the boards close. I can't prove it but I BET only a small percentage of the total membership votes at all.

Well, the standings as they are now are probably a reasonable reflection of the relative popularity of each girl. The voting has been refreshed a few times but the ranking hasn't really changed too much. It might vary slightly because a lot of girls are pretty close to each other in the rankings. I don't see the "top" girl as the winner, but rather the top half dozen or so.

The other thing is that the girls who appear in the last quarter benefit from being "recent" a lot more than girls who appear early in the year. For example, if Sara had been included in this year's competition rather than next year's, I think she would be competing with Rilee for top spot, but because she will be in next year's vote at the beginning of the year, a lot of people would have forgotten about her by the time the vote comes around and she will likely not do as well (not like there is a prize or anything, but still).

I think the vote is more a tool for Rob to judge the sort of girls who people like, which gives him some feedback when it comes to the selection of girls he shoots. As far as choosing the Hawaii model, I'm guessing that he uses the vote as a guide to which girls would be popular, but the final decision is going to be based on who he thinks he can work with on an extended off-site shoot like that. It is not necessarily going to be the top voted girl.
