Default Get Out and Vote Tomorrow!

I want to remind everyone that tomorrow is Election Day and it is important that we all take the time to do our civic duty! I always say, if you don't vote, you can't complain! Not only do we elect the president for the next four years, but we have a nuber of important propositions to vote on here locally in AZ. They say the lines will be long, but deal with it, and do the right thing!

Done back on 10/20--NV has early voting, and I could hardly wait--I wanted to vote twice, and this is NV (), but it was a no-go (). But I second JimG, and anyone who hasn't had a chance to vote early, do it--that's your job as citizens.

I hope that win what is more sensitive to the most serious problems of our daily life: school, family, job, health, the women, the safety, children, violence, elderly, the poor, and helps of economic funds for everybody. And without too many consumptions and squanderings. It is to think particularly about the serious problem of our world: the climate and the animals. The world is going indeed to the downfall. More times there has been the bell of alarm. But the politics and the industries have pretended to understand the problem.

Voted 2 weeks ago.

Since nobody will be at the McCain rally in Arizona tonite, you and Danielle should go there and shoot. When he's giving his consession/acceptance( ) speech Danielle can be flashing the camera with him in the background.

And if you are worried if anyone will notice, don't be. The McCain camp let a prank call through to Palin. They aren't too organized.

I will be voting sometime today...unfortunately I'm registered in a county (where I used to live) that's like an hour away from where I live now so it will be a drive to get there. But it's worth it.

It was a "tough" choice, what with two Irishmen on the ballot. What's that, you ask? John Sidney McCain III, Irish, and Barack Obama. Again, what? Barack's great-great-grandfather was Falmouth Kearney, an Irishman, so he gets his Irish roots there; he goes by Barry, Irish if I'd ever heard it, and of course, as he put on his own t-shirts last St. Paddy's Day, O'Bama, thus Barry O'Bama, Irish. Still not buying it? Black Irish then--just a little attempt at some election day humour (and no offense intended at all to anyone)

It always matters, amigo--when you don't vote you're abdicating your fundamental right to help decide who will represent all of us as Head of State. Never, ever give that away (besides, Florida was decided on just a handful of votes--let's see, Rehnquist, O'Connor, Scalia, Thomas, ...

I think the party is being held at the Biltmore in Phoenix--nice venue from what I understand, and what a chance to make a real statement about women's lib, freedom, personal choice, the arts, ... (wink-wink, nudge-nudge).

They say great minds think alike, so what the heck? Didn't mean to bring you down to my level, Rob! Seriously, that makes two for Obama here in NV, plus a few others (including a Republican or two--I'm a registered non-partisan BTW) that I know of ...my eyes are going to be glued to the 'ol Dumont tonight, flipping from Olbermann-Matthews-Gregory on the one hand and Cooper-Blitzer-Brown on the other. Heck, I may even take in Fox to see what they have to say (I do, sort of, like Mort, but I like him better on McLaughlin). And I took advantage of early voting, too.

It's good to see that we agree on something (I did vote for Obama, even though it sounded like I voted for McCain in a Previous statement.)

I feel bad for McCain--he is a really decent guy I'm sure. And I feel for Sarah. But the way they view the world is off, and I know that there are some who will disagree with me, and that's cool. Soldiers disagree with each other; theologians, lawyers, politicians and so on all have their own opinions--just as you can find African Americans who are Republicans or conservatives, you can also find NCOs, WOs & Commissioned Officers who are Democrats or liberals. But tonight I'm feeling a little more hopeful for my nation. I'd like to think that tonight the vast majority of Americans came together in a way I don't think has happened since Reagan, crossing party lines, up and down the social scale & so on to choose a head of state who has a sharp mind, who knows how to choose his advisers, especially those who will challenge him in his own preconceptions and make him work towards a solution, someone who knows how to think out of the box, who is analytical, engaged, who has worked his way up and through his example will inspire kids to pick themselves up, dust themselves off, stand with dignity and work hard to achieve their dreams. Its not going to be easy, what with two wars, our economy in very poor shape, but I think that unlike most politicians Obama knows how to ask the right questions of the right people to get the information he needs to make a sound decision. Over the past two years, there was only one candidate who kept an even temper and who kept his bank account in order. With the support of folks like Warren Buffett, Colin Powell & Susan Eisenhower among others I think that we will see something new as President-Elect Obama meets with President Bush (they're 11th cousins, once removed, BTW) and I sincerely hope that, in the spirit of "gung-ho" we will as a nation work together, helping our friends, family & neighbors out of this place we find ourselves. This isn't a time for "me"--its a time for "we". Of course that's just my ever so humble () opinion, and hope no one finds offense.

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Now that the election is over let's lay to rest any political issues on this message board. This is not the place for political debates.

Correct that The Moderator WhyYou has warned from the politics.

It doesn't have sense.

And it doesn't need to ruin Danielle.
It is Danielle it has the right to say what wants.

I can wish only my Wishes to the new one and your President of the United States of America number 44, the winning Obama. And the hope for your country, and for our world.
