What happened?

What happened to the FTV Girls forum on here? Was it removed by mods for some reason? I got no notice about it. Was Rob getting tired of the negativity and such by some of the members?

Ditto Ben's questions, and one other... Why was Risi's update pulled?
Seems a bit to coincedental not to be related somehow...

Risi's update wasn't "pulled" except off of the main page. You can still find her update under the "model directory" by scrolling down to the "R's".

Yep you got me Geezer.. I didn't look there 'cause it not the normal practice..

The FTV Chat section has been closed for now. I guess Rob was fed up with negative comments on that. There's still a chance that it might be switched on again at some point.
We've already discussed some of this on the Anything under the sun! thread.

Thanks Anoree...some of us liked seeing the Sneak Peeks and some of us did like leaving positive feedback. As a photographer myself, I can see where beating a dead horse with negativity can get old. Hopefully, sometime, we can switch it back on and filter out some of the trolling and flaming.

I know I am going to miss the sneak peeks as well, and also the comments on the girls, seeing some of them comments on some of the girls made me renew my sub to FTVGirls, as it showd the girls and talked about them in a different light from the main selling point that is posted on the girls intro.

After reading the anything thread, I feel somewhat guilty. I had commented that I was considering canceling, what I didn't say was that my decision is more financially-driven than content-driven. I still say Rob has some of the best talent on the web (both him and the girls he shoots) and there are some rumor shoots on the list that have me keeping my subscription for now.

I realize that one person's comments didn't force the decision , it IS a shame that a select few ruined it for those of us that enjoy the forum. However, one can't run an internet forum on this type of content and expect every person to post raving reviews every time. I wonder how many of those that have ruined for the rest of us are actually paying members to the site like myself.
