Poll - Working with other companies

As many of you know I have been really contemplating working with other adult companies. I am interested to know if this idea jibes with you guys.

There aren't too many adult companies that I would like to work with to be honest but the ones that I do want to work for are companies that I've admired and have longed to work for... for well, a fairly long time now. I really don't want to do something that is going to alienate my fans and members. I would love for my fans and members to have a say in how my career goes. I understand that some people think that it could be a bad business decision (the whole "don't fix what ain't broken" saying has been said in regards to this topic). Again, I'm not planning on working for every company out there.

When I got into this industry I never expected (or even thought) that I was going to have a website built just specifically for me. It's been incredible so far...and I want to make it even more incredible...for me. Working with the companies I have in mind is something that I feel can benefit me in many different ways.

I suppose that my fear is that by putting myself out there...becoming less exclusive than I already am...that I will lose some members of my website which I would really prefer not to have happen.

I think it's a good idea to shoot with other companies. I would see the shoots there as guest appearances. They could be very good advertisement for you, too, especially if you get those companies to mention danielleftv.com in their descriptions.

There might be a few members that go away, but I'm sure the vast majority will stay and that you'll get quite a few new ones from the other sites' fan bases.

well, you are doing very good at your own. you created you own personality in the industry which is very rare. i only afraid that they would effect your Unique style. think about it.

i would say go for it only if you could keep your beautiful personality with them and add your signature to their work.

i think you should do what makes you happy. but from a marketing point of view if you work for other sites, you should do something that you don't do or can't do on your own site. i mean, why sign up to one site when i can see the same thing on another site, right? since you really don't have a lot of girl/girl and have mention how its unlikely (unless its a crossover update with FTV) you might want to go on a site that specializes in that. I know you mention Kink.com once or twice so that is something that would be different than your own site. just a thought.

ok this is my thoight on it, I really dont' mind one little bit abotu you doing work on other sites, I dont' see the harm in it, I can't see why I would not want to be a fan of yours cos you have started working with other sites.

That being said, I only hope you dont' do the "porn acting" no one is ther ewatching the film for the acting of the cast, nore do they wanna hear fake sounds, so thats my only bad thought on the matter :P

Other than that I so go for gold, what do you have to lose, your fans will stil be fans, members will still stay members, so I can't see a problem

Unfortunately it seems like the norm for girls to fake it especially on solo masturbation websites (ie Twistys, HollyRandall, etc.). Interestingly enough I was thinking about that this morning when I woke up and was trying to figure out why that is the case.

I plan on staying as true to myself as possible when shooting with other companies. I really don't think that I will end up changing because of it (and if I do I think it would be positive changes).

I also want you guys to understand that though I may shoot with other adult companies my website and FTVGirls will always come first.

Initially I voted against you doing other sites/magazines/whatever. But after thinking about it for a day or two I’ve changed my mind. I think that you should take advantage of whatever financial opportunities that are offered and that you think would work for you. I would continue to remain a member of your site as long as the quality & quantity remain high. Even if I were to quit being a member I’d still think of you very kindly. It’s very unlikely that I’d join another site to see your work. Unless it was something extraordinary, like you “airtight” with three guys in Oak Creek Canyon! Lol

Twistys is my new favorite site. It has all the girls I like on it, but the thing I've liked about FTV is that it hardly ever shoots implant models, and keeps the tattoos down to a minimal. There are plenty of girls on Twistys that don't have implants too, and I think you would fit GREAT on there.

I think you won't have the spontaneity, fun, and honesty which is what I like with your videos. Your actions will be scripted and set; everything is planned and controlled; and you'll be following your director's cues rather than your own.

Sure, you'll get more exposure and fame but loose something in the process too by going to professional/corporate porn.

Does what you loose really matter? You have to decide that: be your own niche or follow the crowd. You'll have to consider the pros and cons, and decide what's best for you and your career or hobby.

. I'm pretty sure that I would actually gain members and fans by shooting with other companies. I may have to shoot in a style that I'm not used to but it won't change how I shoot for my website.

That really is up in the air. A large part of me doesn't want to do it because I want to be webcam exclusive to my website (excluding the webcam show I did on Chaturbate as a favor to one of my friends).
