I don't keep up on the latest music videos like I use to but this one caught my attention today Katy Perry music video (California) gurls. I think this is a very hot video.
The chorus goes something like this
California girls we're unforgetable
Daisy Dukes...bikinis on top
Sun kissed skin so hot
We'll melt your popsicle

I got a kick outta that one too. And to think just a few years ago, Ms Perry was Christian singer Katy Hudson, huh?

Yes I believe she had a couple of unsucessful gospel album to start with. But the music business tough to break into.

Like I said, I have a couple nieces who are big Katy fans, so if I'm not up on Ms Perry's latest, I lose my cool (Fonzie style cool--or is that uncool now? Uh oh!). And the older of my nieces is obsessed with this song now--she is, in fact, a California girl. Crap.

I like her sense of humor and vocal range also. And if you freeze frame around 2:06 you can see something else that is very dear to my heart or her heart.

This video can't be seen in Germany because of copyright reasons.

In other words, the artist herself can't show her German fans the video on youtube because a record lable holds the copyright for Germany.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry about that.

When I saw it I was like "did they really leave that in there" maybe it is and I'm just thinking they wouldn't leave it there, give it time and there will be pick of them out on the net soon we all know what it like every ones getting them out

Yeah kind of difficult to call that a costume slip. I guess only the shadow knows. Either way I think both poses are very sexy.

But I find this even sexier

Maybe this is where Katy got her inspiritation!

Well I didn't know much about Katy Perry, but she was on a chat show here in the UK earlier this week, and I heard there that she is engaged to a guy called Russell Brand;

That should be interesting, considering her background. He's a bit of a fire-brand, (no pun intended).

He was sacked from the BBC a couple of years ago about "a series of voice messages that English entertainers Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross left on the answering machine of actor Andrew Sachs, which have been labelled obscene by many media commentators and politicians"
