Farm Town
I have been playing a game called Farm Town in Facebook. It's a beta version with several glitches some of which are really funny. I have become very addicted to this game. I am now a level 27 farmer with the title "Extraordinary Farmer" and I will soon be up to level 28. Today I added a river running across the 2 lower fields of my farm. There is an island in the middle of the river as well as a fishing hole at the end just before the river leaves my land. There are pine trees and fruit trees along the river as well as several groups of flowers. I also have a real looking orchard covering about 1/4 of the land.
In this game you plow fields, plant seeds, wait until they grow to harvest, then hire workers to harvest your crops and plow your fields, then go to the marketplace to seel your harvest. Then you continue to plant, harvest, and plow your way to becoming a millionaire. I have seen some amazing farms set up and I am working my way to creating my own amazing farm. Here is a picture of my farm:

Looks good WhyYou, i remember as a kid i used spend time down my uncles farm helping with the harvesting, well actually it was more like messing around lol. Chasing the pigs and scaring the chickens lol. Eating as many apples as me and my brother could from the apple orchard. Always good memories. Sorry must stop waffling lol. Would you be able to add animals or is it just a plantation farm?.

That may appear in the future. I have to wait until I can plant pineapple seeds. They are the highest paying seeds in the game so I won't need as much farm land and I can add some more flavor to my farm.

My latest plan is to add 2 more rivers and a big pond, which will make a total for 4 rivers on my farm. All the rivers will be connected to each other. I have been getting a lot of other farmers visiting my farm just to see what it really looks like and many of the love how it looks. It makes me feel good and makes all the work I put into it worth the difficulty knowing that people are impressed with the result.

Wow you get other farmers visiting your setup WhyYou!. Guess that must give you a little more incentive to create something a bit more special?. How does that work?. Are they able to leave messages or comments about your farm setup WhyYou?.

They are not only able to leave messages, they are also able to talk directly with me. Farm Town is a multiplayer type of game. We can all see each other's avatars in action.

Here is Four Rivers Farm with all 4 rivers in place...
So far I have spent over 3,000,000 coins (Farm Town money) on my farm. I am now a millionaire farmer (meaning I have over 1,000,000 coins saved).

Yes. I have worked on other people's farms along with several other workers and we can all see each other's avatars doing their work as well as being able to chat live with each other.

Latest Updat: I Have over 2,000,000 in Farm Town coins. I'm saving for buying a masion when I reach level 34 (the last level). Then I plan to redo my farm to include some 3D effects like elevated areas, a larger waterfall, and maybe a lake.

Ok, I'm terribly addicted to farming games...lol! I now have 4 farms! I started a new account in Facebook so I could have another FarmTown farm. I set it up without neighbors with the idea of doing all the work by myself. I wanted to see how long it would take me to get through the game and earn one million coins without any help. That farm got up to 961 farm squares and it takes me about 4 hours to harvest, plow, and plant each time. I only plant 3 day crops so I won't have to visit it too often.
There is another farm app called FarmVille. I started a farm with that one on my main Facebook account and I figured, as long as I had a second account, why not have 2...lol! So now I work 4 farms and it keeps me pretty busy! I will post pictures soon of each farm.

My second Facebook account farms
Here are pictures of my second account FarmTown farm. It's a simpler farm with the goal of doing all the work by myself, without the help of any neighbors, to see how long it would take to get through the levels and reach 1,000,000 coins. I've already reached the million coins and It's at level 29 out of 35 levels.

It has been a long time since I've posted about my farms. I no longer play FarmVille. I got sick of the developers always starting up new things before they were finished. The words "Coming Soon" are still being used in a lot of the new items. I couldn't delete the farms but I did block the application.
I still play FarmTown and there have been many changes. I now own 11 separate properties, most have some sort of product planted for harvesting. Now there are more than just crops and fruit trees to harvest. Flowers, various trees for chopping, and animals can be harvested. There are also facilities for processing what is harvested. When I go to the market to sell my products I make several million coins (the last time I sold I made over 20 mill). I will post some pictures as soon as I take some.

I have expanded my production since last time that I posted here. I now have over 45 facilities running at peak capacity. The rivers and ponds can be fished so I've added more water areas. To use up more of the fish I added a Sushi Restaurant. In order to run the restaurant at peak capacity I added a Fish Farming Plant which makes (among other items) fishing bait. When I sell at the market I make about 5 to 10 million coins plus I make more coins right on the farm with service facilities. It takes some planning to get everything planted, harvested, and gathered in order to make the final products. Several products go through multiple facilities. I currently am at level 158 (there are over 250 levels now) and my coins are over 300 million.
