Hey Danielle, thanks for doing the interview. You have been on ftvgirls for a while, and opened your site danielleftv.com late last year. Whats it like having your own site now?
It’s awesome…I don’t get b!tched at by FTV members for being on FTV too much (though it’s like one of my members said “two girls is always better than one!”) Plus now I can really create and mold the site to my vision and standards (though FTV does have a say in it .) Plus I love doing things that no other FTV contract girl has done before (like the video logs, contributed section, webcam, etc.)

Why did you first decide to get into the adult biz?
The beginning of 2008. I’ve always had a fantasy of being a “porn star” so I finally decided to go for it.

Have you been recognised in the street yet, or had any stalkers?
I’ve had two stalkers so far. Had to delete my modeling profiles and change my phone number and stuff. I haven’t gotten recognized in public yet. I keep telling people that if they see me out in public to come up to me and say hi.

You made a thread on your forum asking your members why they would make a good boyfriend or girlfriend. Recon you will find love from your members?
I’ve heard that there was another solo site girl that found her husband through her website.

You have a section of photos from guest photographers. Thinking of letting members do any photo sets?
Of course I would let members do photoshoots of me….but I would want to take a look at their photography portfolio first, to make sure that they are an actual photographer.

What does your typical day consist of?
Waking up anywhere from 10 AM to noon. Turning on my computer, checking emails, my Myspace profile, the two adult forums I frequent, and my site. Getting something to eat. Figuring out what I have to do that day. Making a list of what I have to do that day. Complaining about how busy I’m going to be Running my errands. I do photoshoots about twice a week…so that takes about four or five hours. I mostly just stick around at home, sometimes venture out (but only if I’m really, really hungry since I never have any food at home.) I spend a lot of my time at FTV’s two homes, editing, doing video logs, etc. I really only go out on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays (if at all).

You have done quite a few hot girl-girl videos with other girls from FTVGirls. Got a favourite?
Miyu (though I wish we would’ve done a little more “hardcore” stuff.)

In January 2009 you will start doing weekly web cam shows for your members. Excited?
I’m excited, but also nervous. I’ve never done webcam before…and I can just see completely embarassing myself. Though we are still trying to get the webcam working (since none of us has done it before.)

You do some anal toy play on your site - ever done anal sex?
Yep…though not very often…and only when I have my special anal lube.

Wow, this is a great thread! I enjoyed reading D's answers to all the questions and appreciate Why you interpreting for Ugo. In fact, the links on this thread kept me busy for a long time. I visited Myspace to read interviews and to add a couple of people to my own list of "friends" there. I also had fun looking through D's long list of "friends" on her profile. I think she is friends with every possible living breathing adult entertainer. Since Penthouse Magazine is a "friend" it gave me a chance to check out the "2008 Penthouse Pet of The Month" who is currently featured on the TV show "Momma's Boys."

Another interview, this time with Index of Beauty.

So according to my sources, you were bounced around alot as a kid from Louisiana to Germany via the military. Were you an Army brat? If so, what has been your favorite place to live? Why? What was your jr. high/high school days like? Did you have an awkward time coming up as a kid or were you one of the popular crowd? Do you still feel like a "nerd" or a "prep/popular" kid?

Yes I would definitely consider myself an army brat. Germany will always be my favorite place I lived in (though Arizona is definitely my home now). I guess the reason why it is my favorite place I lived is because I have so many happy childhood memories from there. Things were pretty easy while I lived there. I had friends and my mom was a stay at home mom. When we moved to the states (to Arizona) it became a bit more difficult for me. Since I moved around so much I had a pretty hard time making friends (but then again I also didn't really care about having friends). Jr. high was a nightmare. I got picked on pretty bad during that time. I remember being called a slut and names like that which now I find hillarious since I hadn't even really kissed a guy at that point. High school was a little easier since by that point I didn't care about anything other than school (though I did get picked on a little bit...mainly by this one girl who was jealous that I dated her boyfriend before her). I wouldn't consider myself part of any group now. I am definitely incredibly nerdy though.

What did you do before you joined adult entertainment? How and why did you get involved in the adult industry? Give me some specifics about meeting Rob & the folks at FTV? Were you initially hesitant to go "all out" on camera? How did your parents take it when you told them that you had a full time job in adult entertainment/adult modeling? Do you enjoy doing photo shoots vs. movies vs. cam shows?

Before I started doing "porn" I had a ton of different jobs. I'm the type of person that loves to try new things but then gets bored easy and has to move on to something else. That was how I treated my jobs. I've done everything from being a hostess at a restaurant to working in the medical records department at a hospital. I originally started modeling before I ever got into the adult industry. I remember one of my first photo shoot's was at South Mountain were I ended up doing some topless modeling without even being asked. I worked with a local photographer who told me about a couple of reputable companies down here in Arizona that I should work for (FTVGirls being one). I got in touch with Amateur Allure (a local hardcore website), met with the owner/talent and shot for the site. That experience was a ton of fun and left me wanting to do even more porn shoots. A FTV recruiter contacted me after the Amateur Allure shoot supposedly for FTVGirls. I met up with him at a grocery store not far from the FTV big house and we talked about me shooting for FTV. He was trying to talk me into shooting for FTVX (FTV's hardcore site) but I had a boyfriend at the time and wasn't really wanting to do hardcore because of it. The FTV recruiter decided to drive us over to FTVRob's house so we could talk to him about doing FTVGirls (which I was originally told I was going to shoot for). I remember Rob being super rushed because he was shooting Alison Angel that day. The recruiter told me to strip down naked which kind of made me nervous since I hadn't really expected to but apparently I looked fine enough that Rob was going to shoot me for FTVGirls. I ended up breaking up with my boyfriend a couple days later and shot for FTVX (that content is actually on my website now). I ended up assisting a bunch of the FTV shoots which helped me become pretty popular with the FTV members. I was also voted number one in the "Most Popular Model in 2008" for FTVGirls. Being so popular with the FTV crowd Rob decided to create me my own website on the condition that I run the site myself.

My mom actually found out about my website through my step-dad. Apparently he found my website through Googling Rob's cars which led him to FTVGirls. It was pretty awful since I was planning on telling her myself but was waiting for the right moment (we were dealing with some family drama so I didn't want to cause anymore telling her). Her biggest issue seemed to be "what will your grandparents think?". My family has actually been incredibly supportive about my job. I think they see how happy I've been since I've started working with FTV. It's also helped me out in some very positive ways which I'm sure they could also see.
As far as photo shoots vs. movies vs. webcam shows...well I love doing photo shoots the most, but doing the movies is comes pretty close to being my favorite also. The webcam shows are fun though they seem to get kind of repetitive.

Danielle FTV has become one of the most successful brands for FTV. Are you surprised by that? How has the FTV relationship and your website changed your life in any way? What kind of amazing experiences and acquaintances have you made? Have you met anyone famous who's contacted you around your hometown or via your website?

I'm not really surprised about my site doing so well. FTVRob is the best photographer/videographer in this business in my opinion. I always say that everything he touches turns to gold (he would disagree and point out FTVX as an example). Working with FTV and my website has changed my life in several ways. I get to work from home so I have plenty of time to do things I love to do (mostly read). I also have plenty of time for school. I've also become more outgoing and less shy because of the site which has lead me to finally having friends. The income from the website is fantastic so I get to travel a ton (something I love to do) and actually plan on buying my first home sometime next year. It's also made me more accepting of myself. I used to hate my voice and my facial expressions but now I am okay with it. I always tell people I have the best fans/members ever. They are incredibly supportive and help me out in so many ways. It's pretty amazing because I feel like I can tell some of my fans anything. Actually I'm pretty open about my life on my website...you can find pretty much anything about me on there. I joke around sometimes too talking about how some of my fans are like therapists. I love the fact that my fans will tell me about what's going on in their lives. That they feel close enough to me to share something so personal is great and very touching. I've never met anyone famous through my website though that would be soooo cool.

You have done some boy/girl scenes in the past but had to end that due to the male part ended up getting involved in a serious relationship, correct? What indication and why did you want to transition from girl/girl and solo work to boy/girl work? Are there any more new features/ideas coming to your website soon that you can maybe hit on here?

Yes, the male talent that I was working with (one of my friends) ended up in a serious relationship so we stopped working together. I started out doing boy/girl in the very beginning and always knew that I would get back to doing that. FTVRob wanted to wait a while for the website to get bigger though. I was pretty nervous about adding boy/girl to my site. I didn't know if people would accept it but I've gotten very little complaints...if anything they ask for more. In the future I plan on adding another video format (maybe two). I'm always trying to think of new ideas for the site but quite a few of them I have to dimiss because of various reasons.

Outside of the adult industry, my sources say that you are a college student, correct? Are you still based out of the Scottsdale, AZ area? What are you going to college for and is that something you will eventually leave the adult industry to do? What else do you primarily enjoy away from danielleftv.com? Are there many of the girls from FTV that are close friends that you spend alot of time with?

I actually live in Tempe, AZ and yes I am a college student. I am pre-med right now and after medical school I would like to specialize in Forensic Pathology. I plan on shooting and updating my website until I get out of medical school and residency and maybe even after that. I enjoy hanging out with my best friend Dallas and fooling around on the internet. I spend most of my time reading though.

Everyone always asks me about other FTVGirls. Most of them live outside of Arizona. I don't keep in touch with any of them other than Renna Ryann (www.RennaRyann.com ...one of the FTVCash daughter sites).

Of all the work that you've done, what is the most radical and mind-blowing thing you've done? Is there any of your scenes/work that you've done that you look back and it surprises you like fisting, crazy insertions, etc.? What is your favorite scene/picture set? Who has been your favorite co-star?

The shoot that comes to mind that was the most mind-blowing was double fisting an FTVGirl (Lillith). Also anytime I do any serious public nudity that always kind of surprises me since I'm not all that comfortable doing it. My favorite shoots are the Purple Dress shoots (they are some of my prettiest shoots so far), the Forest Nymph shoot (I love dressing up in costumes and the location was fantastic...it was shot in Hawaii), and the Naked Beach Baby/Beach Blonde shoot. A lot of my best shoots were shot in Hawaii. My favorite co-stars are Renna and FTVGirls Miyu, Sophie, and Chloe.
