Because of that Bugatti crashing (the guy was driving it 100mph+ in heavy rain) the company set up the 'feel the road' program to better instruct drivers on how to drive the car -- and know the cars' limits.

yes, I drove 407.5 km/h (253mph) on the track, I have lots of photos. Need to post them sometime.

Ooops! I just re-read my post. I know the story behind the SLR crash. I didn't mean to imply that the SLR isn't safe, but it sounded that way. Sorry!
