In most cases, I'd rather walk. I do bike sometimes, and Reno has a number of bike lanes, but the number of cars & trucks I've seen using those bike lanes as additional parking spaces or additional motor lanes does surprise me. One thing I don't miss is the traffic and traffic jams. I can't tell you how often I'll leave my apartments walking to the store just a couple blocks away and get there before someone pulling out from the drive at the same manages to get there, find a parking spot, &c. ...
