Happy birthday to you.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes, and my own belated Happy Birthday to lovely as well. It was simple for me. Dinner was grinned burgers & hot dogs at my brother's with my nieces, Mom & sis-in-law, then the following day he & I went to see the Blue Angels fly at the Reno Air Races. We didn't have passes (& weren't going to pay the whopping big fee to get in), but we did find a nice place just outside one of the gates that proved to be much better than the grand stand seats: several times the Angels flew just over tree-top level right over us. In a word or two: wicked awesome! I hadn't seen the Angels fly in well over a decade, and that last time, from the deck of an LHD, as good as that was, paled in comparison to the other day. I get my photos back later this week from the lab and will maybe post a few then (here's hoping I got at least 1 good shot, eh?)
