Oddly enough a similar thing happened to a friend of mine. She was a bartender at a local very upscale hotel. Jaguar came to southern Calif. To introduce the XK 8, shoot a commercial, and let the motor press drive the cars. They were here for about a week or ten days. My friend and one of the Brits got very close and hooked up a few times. She fell pretty hard for him and they promised to stay in touch when he left. Of course she never heard from him again. She swallowed her pride and wrote him but never heard back.
Maybe it’s best to just look at your trip to Vegas as a “Great Time” but now it’s back to the real world.
