talked to Tigger early this morning he is holding in there. the funeral was to start at 9 am . the ranking marine is to present the purple heart, and silver star to Mikes mom. Mikes dad past several years ago. Mikes sister is in the Airforce she got in late last night. Tigger and 7 other Marines from the unit will be carring the casket from the funeral home 1 mile to the grave sight next to his father. I have never seen this before but Jeromy said if 8 guys from the unit are present they carry thecasket by placing it on there shoulder and walking at attn. balencing it on there shoulder all the way to the grave. this is done as a show of respect for there fallen brother. the mother and sister will follow behind. tigger said people are already starting to line up along the path they will take. well we have 200 more miles to go and we can get rid of the driver that filled in for Tigger. ( I dont like him) I think Tigger is staying till monday to visit with the family and see old friends. Oh Tiggers old math teacher came up to him last night she is 103 yrs old. she gave him a kiss and said she was proud of him. that made Tigger feel good.
