Of course I love that picture but the question is: How can you actually work at your computer while those beatiful eyes look at you all the time?

My own Desktop

I fear I am a very sad person. :)

This is my Desktop image.

Why the join down the middle? It stretches across two monitors, and I had to make adjustments.

Hi Mark, what a great Desktop image! I like those earth views from space.
BTW, why don't you use the 'insert an image function' at your post?

MarkF-UK 05-10-2009 08:42 AM

I did think about it.

Yep I did think about the Insert function, but the image was just too large. It spans two monitors. I could have reduced it to a much smaller image, but I decided to host it elsewhere so that anyone as sad as me could enlarge it if they wanted to, :)

WhyYou 05-12-2009 03:38 AM

For my desktop wallpaper I have been using an application called Wallpaper Changer that is a Powertoy for Windows XP. It will change the wallpaper periodically (you can set the change interval) using a folder of pictures that is on your computer. I originally downloaded it from AlisonAngel's message board. I have been using a folder filled with pictures of Alison for quite some time, so if you think YOU'RE getting lost in your wallpaper...just know that I drift off into Lalaland every so often...lol! :D

Not what you'd probably expect!

I'm a huge vintage drag racing fan. This is the restored Bill Flynn "Yankee Peddler" 65 Dodge. I took this photo at a car show last year.

Jeffrey99 05-12-2009 12:44 PM

I'm with WhyYou, I use a program called Wallpaper Master to change my wallpaper periodically. You can do it by time or day, so it keeps it fresh. Right now I have about 400 images that it rotates through.

• You can click on the picture to see it in real format ( 2560x1600 pixels )

I made this picture myself. It's a close-up of the memory modules that are used in my Mac Pro.

Nice

Nice Rob

The focus on the car is impressive. It looks like it is stationary whilst the road is moving underneath.

If you were driving, who took it? It looks like something that should be in a magazine!

... Which is why I have the standard XP blue screen only. I use a lot of browsers, so I need no wallpaper.

Your posted picture disappeared and left a red x or no picture at all, depending on the browser used. See the other remarks.

Hmm, do you have that cross centered, scaled or tiled?
(Because that's all I see. Maybe that host isn't connected to the whole world.)

Edit: NOW I see the picture. I had to copy the link to the picture into the IE's address field, though.
Perhaps that site has taken measures against deeplinking their pictures.

Yeah it is but I didn't do it, I guess I could have done, as I use photoshop, but I asked a friend to do it, maybe I should have a go at doing one my self.

Anyway that thanks gose out to iDad for doing it for me, he has a YouTube video, look at it you may find some use. iDadNorm is his YouTube name
