Ryan's right, and this site really is breaking new ground here, Danielle & Rob. That's a big part of why I'm even here, taking the time to learn how a bulletin board works, asking what are probably silly questions (thanks again, Ryan). This is pushing the envelope more, and the "competition" (yeah, right, like there's even any real competition, or anything comparable, to Danielle or FTVGirls) will have to take notice. Rob came into this scene with a unique vision. I've had a love-hate relationship with "porn", mostly because a lot of it is just cheap on-the-fly gonzo garbage (although sometimes I've noticed you've had to "fly" out of a location, or at least cover-up (and you know, its always the cover-up that gets you--cheap political giggle there). This (Danielle FTV, FTVGirls, Alison Angel, Lia 19) is not cheap. The image quality in video & still images has gone way up, the settings are familiar, meaning they could be happening at your local sandwich shop, cafe, mall, parking garage, &c.--not some over-the-top outlandish setting. These are the girls next door that we dream about, that we see walking in our neighborhoods, across campus, &c. The FTV style is just that--a style that Rob created and which no one else has been able to replicate, not even the guest photographers he's occasionally allowed in. These could be vacation videos and pictures because they are so comfortable, even with the nudity and play involved, without all the artificial airs of a typical erotic or porn shoot attached to them. With Danielle's site, they're doing something fresh again. I certainly can understand the need to emboss the video, &c., with the logo to cut down on the piracy and copyright infringement (and who's not looking at Danielle again? Why I oughta ...! jk, maybe ;)). To be honest, I can see an upside beyond doing something new--think of the marketing. Danielle's site's free, and we're all here talking about Danielle, FTVGirls, Alison Angel and Lia 19, and people who may not be members of any of those sites are reading what we say, and the next thing you know, this site has paid for itself, plus given Danielle and Rob a boost to their own incomes, through new memberships in the other sites. Now from my point-of-view that's a win-win for all of us! :)
