Whyyou in Hospital again!
 

I got a call from Tamra, Whyyou's friend and she said she had to call 911 for him last night. He is in the hospital and i don't know anything further. when i do i will let everyone know!:(

Oh, shoot! I wondered why he wasn't online. I hope he's up again soon.

will keep him in my prayers and thoughts. hope he gets well soon.

I tried to call WhyYou at the hospital and he is in critical care ICU. and cant take any phone calls. This does not sound good! I hope he gets better soon.

Thanks for letting us know Tigger ,Missy, of cause i'm thinking of him and hoping he recovers very soon.

$hit. I hope he gets better. Too many people I know are getting sick recently. It's a great way to make me depressed. :-(

I got a call from Whyyou this morning he is out of ICU and doing better. he will not be able to return home, he is going to have to go into a nursing home for a while ,maby up to a year to recover. He has congestive heart fail. And will be getting his pacemaker replaced soon.He cant get on line in the hospital so it may be a while befor he can get on here. Ill try to keep every one upto date.

Tamra called me this afternoon Whyyou will be moved to a nursing home tomorrow or Thurs. He will have INTERNET.

Tamera called Tigger and Whyyou has been moved to the nursing home! She gave him a hair cut and is getting him settled in. Star you are not funny so stop it! most of us have come to love and respect WHYYOU! This is not a joking matter the man is in ill health and we are worried about him!

I am back online....again...lol. I am using the nursing home's wi-fi internet connection. They thought it wouldn't work because, as they put it..."wi-fi is only for laptops!" But my desktop PC has a wireless modem as well as an ethernet card so I am able to connect as long as I can find a hookup. They also thought that my battery backup/surge protector wouldn't work (but they didn't try turning it on, they just plugged it into the wall...lol).

As for my health, I am in a bit better shape than I thought at first. One of my hospital breathing treatment specialists suggested using pulmonary rehab practices such as, before I stand up I take a deep breath through my nose (making sure that my O2 hose is in my nostrils, then push the breath out with some force through my mouth. Using this technique I have found that I can stand up and walk short distances (like to my bathroom and back) without needing any help. With a walker, which the nursing home will be providing, I should soon be able to walk to the dining area on my own. I won't push to get this accomplished too soon but my progress is looking good.

I hope WhyYou gets better sooner than later. We need him back on Moderator Duty! At least he will have Internet service and can, hopefully, stay active on this forum.

There are nursing jobs in Joplin right now. The hospital is just at the start of the rebuilding process. Plus, I could really use a good personal home care nurse. Might even be able to get Medicare to help pay for the nursing (HINT...HINT).

Yeah everyone would love having Allison as thier personal home care Nurse.Surprise she hadn't found a job yet from what I heard there always alot of openings for nurses.

Glad to see you back online WhyYou! Are you sure you are strong enough to have that pretty of a nurse around? (not to mention using all that extra oxygen trying to catch your breath)...:D:D
