Yep the show was pretty good as usual, all motor show are fun for me!. Jaguar XKE is certainly a cool car, like all the jags, in my opinion. I just like looking at beautiful cars, oh and the girls of cause lol. Well i certainly hope you do get to do everything you'd like to do next year David.

Merry olde England usually shuts down come winter, gets too cold lol, only kiddin. I am going to the "NEC classic motor show" in Birmingham tomorrow, it's usually a pretty good event, i go most years. They feature many classic and modern cars, the only thing i don't like is seeing some of these cars that just make me envious lol. I love going to car shows, just nice to see cars i'd never be able to afford sob..sob.. lol. My favourite classics would be the Jaguar's, such classy cars. Car shows are usually the only events i like to go to. Although i actually go to the odd workwood exhibition, but their not held very often, well not the big ones, there's usually lots of local woodwork events, but their really only smalltime just for charity raising, so for some of them i usually send a cheque lol, purely because they are local to me and don't really have anything new to show an old timer like me. Well when you've worked in a sawmill for 19 years, you've just about seen every woodworking and every cutting tool going lol.
You going to any events in the near future David?.

Love big machines, just so i can cut bigger timbers lol. Glad to hear your pretty busy, always the thing with the building trade, it can really be so up and down all through the seasons. I used to love being in the building trade, but i got tired of all the traveling. I was one of them "jack of all trades, master of none", i'm sure you've heard that phrase? lol. So that's why i settled for a static job in a sawmill, closest thing to the building trade.

How work going my friend?, just had one of our big bandsaws overhauled. Just over £2,000 and about a £1,000 on new flywheel bearings. The flyingwheels weighing about half a tonne each, that's a lot of wheel to turn. Hate to think how much it must cost my firm to overhaul every machine we have. Three bandsaws, two planers, one planer thicknesser, two crosscutters and two panel saw tables. Even i service what i can, there's always parts i cannot service usually because they need replacing. Why i'm talking about work, i'm not sure, just tell me to shut up if you like lol. Seriously just wondering how your doing DWM.

Only guessing but i'm sure you've earned a few weeks off, assuming your a very hard worker like me.

Well it could take some time to visit all 50 states DWM!, but good luck! lol. England's small compared to American and i haven't even managed to visit every city here and some i wouldn't want to visit anyway.

Yes i'd never want to take golf seriously, nor would my mates. Thought of where you'd like to go on vacation to yet?. I would truely love to go to Egypt to see the pyramids and the tombs and one day i just may go lol.
