You have got to look up Maz Jibrani (I think that's his name) and Gabriel Iglesias on YouTube. They are freaking hillarious. Also check out Dimitri Martin. I'm sure you will totally dig his sense of humor.

Thanks for the YouTube clips. I am definitely feeling better. I got a heat/sun stroke and just needed to rest for awhile. The other two days of the forum were awesome though. I ended up having a blast.

Thanks for the info about the relation between Spader and Roddenberry - certainly never knew that.

Agree with you - without a doubt and definatley in all seriousness - Shatner is the absolute best and he is one of my favorite actors. How can I best express it - the man knows what he is good at, and he really works it, and he has a very good humor about his own personality and is willing to make fun of himself. People roll there eyes when I tell them this, but then I remind them that Shatner has worked with the likes of Spencer Tracey, Burt Lancaster, Richard Widmark, Christopher Plummer, and his stood his ground - unfortunately this still does not convince people and they still think that I am goofy for being a Shatner fan and they think that it all comes down to him being Kirk, well - Kirk is a little bit of it to say the least.

If you haven't checked it out - Shatner's autobiography Up Till Now was released a few months back - I would suggest the audiobook download from iTunes (only $18.00) - Shatner reads it himself and it is a classic for any Shatner fan.

Well, it is certainly great to be back among friends geo

I would agree - not one bad episode of BSG ever - the closest it ever came to a "bad" episode was "Black Market" during the second season - very high on the melodrama and the episode just did not seem to "hold together" if that makes any sense at all - but I still enjoyed it for the aspects that showed the corruption on the Pegasus, and the fleet itself.

To get away from SciFi for a sec - but one show that I thought was awesome was Boston Legal - started watching it for Shatner, but then got totally hooked - thought that it was one of the most intelligent shows ever written for TV, and I was so sad to see it go last year - at least they allowed it one more short season of 13 episodes to wrap up all of the loose ends- the relationship between James Spader and Shatner on that show was one of the best portrayals of a true bonding male friends ever. So, if you never have seen it - definately put it on the DVDs that I have to rent or buy list - you will not be disappointed.

Definately can understand having to take a step back from the FTV model reviews for a while - don't worry - I shall keep you informed of all of the best ones - especially if Miss Leslie is on her way back

    Hi Geo.
From my Puglia where I live with my mother we are good.
I am sorry that happened is a disaster to the region of Abruzzo. Very serious. The earthquake is back in Italy after nearly 20 years.
I'm experiencing a difficult time between work and family. The work is becoming more and more like a mafia.

I try to dribble the myriad dangers. But it is hard.

Hey there geo - am finally caught up on all of my FTV and Danielle updates and am going to be back on the board on a regular basis again - sorry for the long absence with no replies from me I hope that all has been well over the best few months.

I agree the BSG finale was awesome. I think that the way the wrapped up all of the storylines was done perfectly and very much worked for all the characters - it was very hard not to shed a tear during the last moments between Roslin and Adama, and to be honest I did shed a tear or two. I for one who loves technology and everything that it brings to us - found it a bit hard to fathom just giving all of the technology and starting over again, but after all that the characters had been through and all of the pains that technology had caused for them - it definatley works for the characters and the story. Of course, there were a few mysteries left over like who really was the resurrected Starbuck and where did she come from, and the Head Baltar and the Head Six - who were they really. Well, as in life not everything is explained - so, I did not mind these loose ends at all - it is always good just to leave a little mystery out there. Besides, one never knows if these loose ends may just make for another good BSG movies

So - I am sad that the show is gone, but I will always have the DVDs to watch over and over again. BSG is definately tied for the best scifi shows of all time with my other two faves Star Trek DS9 and Stargate SG1.

Hey, did you catch that Sadie update on FTV - absolutely awesome isn't it.

LOL...well it got a smile and a laugh from me. Funny thing is I can completely imagine you doing that (waving at the planes that fly by)...but then I also have a very vivid imagination and can imagine some of the oddest things. Talking about laughing...I think that's awesome that you like my laugh. I was always really self conscious about it (mainly because my sister would tell me I laugh like a hyena.) I've gotten less self conscious about it since I've started FTV though...so looks like this site and FTV has helped me in some way
