I was admitted to the hospital on Aug 9th for congestive heart failure and vertigo. My bloodwork was off and I had too much water weight. More than 7 pounds of water was drained out of me. The vertigo was a real problem. At first we were sure I would be able to come back home because of equilibrium problems. I was discharged from the hospital on Aug 17 and admitted to a local nursing home for rehab. I spent the next 2 1/2 weeks there and improved a lot. Then on Sept 5th I was again admitted to the hospital for a pacemaker battery replacement. Normally this is just an outpatient service but I am on a blood thinner so I had to be admitted. This took about 5 days. Then I went back to the nursing home for about 2 weeks for more rehab. When I had passed all the rehab criteria I was allowed to come home. I got home on Sept 25th.
I'm glad that you are doing better. I've been trying to keep up with what was happening with you on the threads about you in the general discussion forum.
I had been taking all online classes for the past several years. online college is more time compressed that normal college and therefore is even harder for me to handle.
My progress is moving along quite well. However, I have decided to completely drop any more college. I won't get the degree I always wanted but I have gained a great deal more knowledge. I am hoping to be out of this rehab/nursing home before a month has passed. Mainly I need to regain strength and stabilization as well as lose some weight.
