The journey up to Edinburgh was ok, until i hit some pretty heavy rain, so heavy i could only see about 2ft ahead of me grrrrrr. So i pulled over to a Happy Eater when i could, til the rain had stopped. That's the great thing about English weather, one minute heavy rain, next minute bright sunshine lol. Here rain like that are called squalls and don't last long, after about 20 minutes i was on my way again yeahhhh lol.
When i arrived at my friends place, i was greeted by him and he was wearing a tradition tartan kilt just in my honour, which i thought was pretty cool lol.
Of cause he showed me the infamous Ediburgh castle, which was quite amazing with it's history, Greyfriars Kirk architure was amazing, Scottish Royal musuem was interesting too, but like most breaks a few days aren't enough to see everything.
Yep i even had some Haggis with was nicer than i thought it would be, mincemeat boiled in a sheeps stomach skin, sounds horrible but it isn't too bad lol. Their breads are really nice such as Bannock and Selkirk Bannock, all in all i had a really good time and would definately visit again.
Welcome back my friend, i'm ok thanks, well apart from lifes usual up and downs. I know a few of the regulars have missed you too, your alive and kicking, i hope that means you are well too.
