Thanks kindly for clearing that up for me. It had me puzzled yesterday. Most of the time I use WordPerfect--the primary reason I even bought my first computer was academic. In a real way, this is my first foray into other uses, beyond writing or 'net surfing (Cowabunga, Dude!--see that's what happens when you spend the larger share of your life in N. Calif less than an hour from the surf!). I think part of my problem was when I started downloading yesterday, I began confusing the dialogue boxes for downloading via WMP and Firefox. You mentioned on the tech thread about downloading. Save as type and any file. Well that is just indicating what the media is and cannot be changed. Because some people like to keep wmp and mpg seperate.
