It sounds like you have the right idea. Since you're turning 21 soon, she probably feels like she's "losing" you. Keeping up some sort of regular contact will really help.

Yeah...well I definitely was getting irritated waiting that long. And I felt kind of bad for the Mexicans that were trying to sell stuff because I know I wasn't the only one getting frustrated and glaring at them when they came up to you. About telling my mom about my job...yeah it definitely does feel like a weight has been lifted. I mainly feel bad because now I realize how much I've "drifted away" from her in the past year. But I'm trying to work on it for sure.

Way to go girl! It must have taken a great deal of courage to finally bring up the subject of your job with your mom. I'm so proud of you! It must feel like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders. Her reaction is what I would expect from any mom. She may never fully understand or like it, but I have a feeling she will eventually accept it once she realizes how happy you are with your place in life now. You're still her baby girl and she loves you. Your happiness probably means more to her than anything.
Great news about your Geology class! I knew you'd be ok after that last test. You're doing awesome in all your other classes too, keep it up!

It's nice to read that you had a good time! I sort of suspected that the media was "hyping up" the safety situation down there and it turns out they were. Not surprised, really. They live to make mountains out of molehills! I've also heard horror stories about the border crossing from several people I know and their experiences were the same as yours. I don't know if it's because of drugs or their having to check passports. Whatever it is, it's causing huge bottlenecks. I would have been flipping out at a three hour wait!

Thanks for your concern. It was a great trip and Rocky Point was definitely safe...I wasn't concerned about my safety at all...though I did get a few glares but I think that was more for my crazy driving than anything else

That is by far my favorite set too. I am wearing an Easter bunny costume in the Easter update...you guys will definitely enjoy that one. I loved the St Patricks day outfit...though we could not figure out what to do for it. Rob suggested a bar theme...but obviously that has to be planned out WAY in advanced. So maybe next year.

The "Innocent in White" photo set might be your best one yet. You look like an angel in that white dress. Simply stunning! Perfect location too. Several of the photos, numbers 173-180 to be specific, have the early 70's Playboy feel about them that I've mentioned before. You could have easily been Miss March 1971.
