Should I post the webcam show transcripts?

Hi guys,

I wondered whether or not I should post the webcam session transcripts that I gathered.
I enjoy viewing Danielles archived webcam sessions with the text of the chat on the side to read the reactions and questions asked along with it.
I do realize that some parts might be quite private, so I want your oppinion first.

Danielle would have to give her consent to posting those anyway.

It's now "2 against" as I post this with "5 for" and "1 abstainer". Personally I said yes but truth be told I'm not that bothered. I just wish the webshows were in a downloadable format so I could see them at my leisure.

Ultimately this is Danielle's decision.

Sure, downloadable files would be more convenient. (I'd try to fix that couple of split shows, for example. Skipping some months of membership while still enjoying your favorite archived webcam show would also be possible.)
But I also see some positive in this format: The shows don't leak out and land on some porntube sites that easily. ;)

I'm pretty sure Danielle hasn't seen this poll yet. She's probably just coming home from her shooting day.

It's Danielle's site and forum, so she (and Rob) will have the last say about what to post and what not.
I think we know her good enough to say she'll take the webcam show's participants views into account.

Its not something Im particularly interested in- I might check it out for the first couple of weeks then get bored with them, however I dont see any reason why the grosses shouldnt be published for those theatregoers/economists, so I say yes, why not?

Yes Mam' there is a way to save the webcam shows. However I don't do it.

I'm thinking of it more as additional "product" for paying viewers who cannot actually see the webcams in person (like me, due to living on wrong side of planet) and just like films/videos.

One veto still stands after one month of waiting. Sadly, the remaining veto voter hasn't revealed himself, so I can't take his messages out.
Therefore I won't post the transcripts. (It's too bad, I had planned to sort the fragments to the webcam shows and according transcripts.)

I hope the veto wasn't a joke of someone who newer saw a show ...

How about a compromise... (i did NOT veto the vote) post questions and answers. things that are not already in the "about" section or video logs so that way any information that is given during the chats (upcoming videos, etc.) can be passed on to people who did not participate due to schedule conflicts.

That is to bad that you are going to let a single anonymous vote be used to over ride the will of the masses. I always would go with the majority, especially after Danielle has oked it.

Well if you PM me telling me what you would like to do I may be able to help, after all it's better to have someone helping you than doing it all your self.

As for the veto voter, if they didn't want people to see it they shouldn't have posted it, after all it was for every one to see that watched the show as it was live, and the posting are there for any one that watch to see.

At the current rate it will probably take a couple of weeks until the thread is up to date, though. I keep getting sidetracked with the archived shows running in the background. :o;)

Thanks, but I think I'm the only one who has the transcripts. It's not that difficult, just time consuming to cut the transcripts in parts that fit into the 10000 character post limit if you do it by hand.

The chat with the show was seen only by a small group of people. The Transcript thread can be seen by anyone. It's quite a difference, I think.
I think its of common interest to see those transcripts, though. And maybe it can get some people curious enough to join the site and watch the archives. ;)

I just saw the transcript thread. That does look like time consuming work. Thanks for doing it Anoree. I'm sure everyone will appreciate being able to read what goes on in the webcam shows.

Phew, I posted all the transcriptions now.

I might watch all of the archived videos again and add or alter some of the descriptions on the overview page, though.

The most time consuming part is watching the archive fragments that can't be jumped forward or backward in for the descriptions. But it's time I spend gladly with and for you and the forum.
