Some of you might have been hit with 'crossell' scams before, but those of you who haven't always watch out for this sort of thing:
You also get Free Access to the following sites:
xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxxx
* Free 3 Day Trial Recurs
Automatically at $34.76 unless Canceled
** Free 2 Day Trial Recurs
Automatically at $39.99 unless Canceled
Free Bonus Offer: xxxxxxxxx 2 Day, $1 Trial Includes
Unlimited Access to Thousands of Sites!
Free Bonus Offer: Access DVDs Now ** Free 2 Day Trial Includes
Unlimited Access to Thousands of DVD Titles!
* $1.00 3 Day Trial Recurs
Automatically at $34.76 unless Canceled
** Free 2 Day Trial Recurs
Automatically at $39.99 unless Canceled
So you think you have a deal on a cheap trial, but since you tend to forget to cancel exactly the same day, you end up getting charged over $100 or more. With the industry burning out and getting desperate, watch out for this sort of thing.
The sad part is that it turns off paying members, then they fear that they will get scammed on other legit sites as well. What bothers me is that many sites that didn't do this before are doing it now.
And those bonus sites you think you're getting a deal out of are just garbage compilations of generic content. :mad:
