Here I'd thought that worm had gone back to ground. Silly me. First, get yourself that restraining order. It will encourage him to stay away from you, but does not necessarily prevent him from making statements about you. When I was an undergrad, I took some pre-law-type courses, mostly to do with civil liberties & the Constitution (that was over a dozen years ago now, BTW), so I'm not an expert--I know some things changed since the Internet took off, and when I was studying, the Internet didn't really exist, not as it is now (I never even saw it, via Explorer or Navigator until grad school; the closest I got was Lynx, and that was my senior year of university). First and foremost are your personal safety, both you, Danielle and Rob, so get those restraining orders yesterday. Second, you have your FAQ section here and require registration to post--you also have the ability to block or delete, either directly or through WhyYou or laranger, anything this individual tries to post can be removed at your discretion. This is your site, created with your money and using your image--we are your guests. You have the right to kick any of us out if we do not follow your rules of the house. As far as slander goes, you'd have to prove that in court and as you are now bordering on public figure status (I say that due to FTV's popularity, plus the ability to Google or use PeachyForum, FreeOnes, Ask Jolene, &c. to locate your images), its harder to prove. And as for defamation, its entirely possible that a jury or judge would rule against you just because of the line of work you're in, not necessarily on the merits of the case. Total BS & total hypocrisy, in my be it ever so humble opinion. Most courts I think still put First Amendment rights in front of almost anything else. You do potentially have one thing going for you, though, and that's the fact that you do not use your last name, and, for that matter, Danielle may be a pseudonym you use for your career. In other words, you have taken steps to protect your personal identity, and this person you said had been floating personal info about you, that you might have a good chance at stopping or suing over if it comes to that point. In any even, its most likely a civil matter as it stands now, rather than a criminal one. One of the better solutions, and one I think I saw someone else offer here, is to just not take his bait. If he shows his face around here, kick him out. If he tries a run-around by joining FTVGirls, Rob has the option of refunding his money and preventing him from causing trouble there, too (of course I haven't seen a forum there, so maybe thats a moot point). If he telephones you, and you have your restraining order, you may have him--make sure an order includes communication, and that may even be enough to prevent him from posting here (I forget where the Internet law went, or if it included stalking which I think this could be considered--likewise I'm not sure where AZ is on stalker laws, although I'm pretty sure its less than CA or NY). Anyway, you have options, but the first thing is to get a court involved to protect yourselves, period. You are the one in power, Danielle, not this apparently spoiled, silly little boy. As always, my sincerest best wishes :)

So the photographer who booked you canceled at the last minute and then had the nerve to have his assistant do the dirty work, huh? Either he was sick as a dog, or he's too full of himself. If he's too full of himself, then all I can say is "la-de-freakin'-da." Not cool, not professional. Heck, even if he was sick and unless he had a major-bad case of either laryngitis or throat cancer, he still should have done you the courtesy of picking up the phone and giving you a call. If he thought his work was more important than being courteous to you, to to anyone else who models for him, good luck, bub, booking more shoots. Obviously he's already put a booking with you in serious jeopardy. But then I'm a stickler for simple courtesy (even if I blow it sometimes; I am great at giving apology, though), and on the few occasions where I've worked with people, I've always been aware that while I may be "the artist" the work is really a collaboration between me and the model--fat lotta good being an "artist" when you have no subject though. Just my ever so humble opinion though :)

Well - the most important thing is that everyone got out safe and sound - especially if the car was totaled that is definitely a propitious thing - you guys certainly had an angel on your shoulder:)

I have been in two car accidents in my life, and in both my car was pretty banged up, but not totaled - in both of them I made it without a scratch and a the time I was not concerned about the car as much as I was getting out of it without a scratch - the pain and anger comes when the insurance company pays out what they think the car/damages are worth which is never enough - however, in this circumstance as the other party was clearly to blame hopefully they will pay up plenty of $$$$$$ to pay not only for the car but the emotional stress that the accident put everyone through.

Danielle Election day is Tuesday November 4. One thing that always bothered me was that I was eligible for the miltary draft when I was 18 but I wasn't eligible to vote until I was 21. I guess Uncle Sam thought that at 18 I wasn't mature enough to decide who was going to send me off to war. I have voted in ever election since I was 21 and intend to vote in ever election until I'm dead and gone.

Prior to 1971 the federal voting age in the US was 21 although a few states had lower voting ages (19 and 20).

Unless by some amazingly weird twist everyone votes Libertarian, Green, Reform or Independent. Of course, I'm not sure if all those 3d parties are on the ballots of every state. I checked on AZ early voting, and apparently it began on 10/2. Here in NV it begins on 10/18 (if I remember right). I think they already started in OH and a few other states, too. Wherever you are, if you haven't already registered, you might be able to get a provisional ballot on 11/4 (no guarantees) because registration I think is closed in all 50 states, territories, &c., and double check with your county clerks' offices to see when/if you have early registration or when you can request an absentee ballot & when its due (no later than 11/4 of course). I forget under which article its covered in the Constitution (2d, I think), giving each state the discretion on how it conducts its presidential election. Remember, in most (if not all) of the 13 originals, it was up to the state legislatures to choose their electors; now its up to the voters, but with some caveats depending on the state. As Hardy said to Laurel, "This is another fine mess you've gotten me into!" Bonk! In any event, W is out on 1/20 as soon as whomever is sworn in, but with the way the economy is, plus the wars, &c., I expect the prez-elect & his (I assume again) transition teem will be spending a lot of time at the Exec. Mansion or OEOB--I know that both Barack & John should already be getting copies of the same briefings (intel reports for example) GWB gets, beyond what they get sitting on their various committees.

Hey Danielle,

I've been reading about the nose stud removal and your two tats being lasered off. How is that going for you? I could be wrong but it seems to me your latest photos still show your tattoos. But, you also posted a video of them being burned off.

Where exactly are you in this process? How many treatments will it take? On a scale of 1-10, with ten being VERY PAINFUL, how much does the laser hurt?

Will there be any scarring once the procedure is all done?

danielle_ftv

I've had two sessions already. On a 1-10 pain scale it's probably an 6 1/2 or 7. They aren't quite sure how many treatments it will take but after two sessions I am already seeing it lighten up and the shading in the middle is almost gone. Last time I went in I went 30 minutes early so they could put numbing cream on the skin...but that didn't seem to work very well. I don't really do anything, just lay there. It will take more than 6 months to get the tattoos off so unfortunately you guys will be seeing it for awhile.

I have to say, I am very happy for you that the tattoos are coming off. I am sorry that it hurts though. I showed your removal video to that relative of mine who went white and has had second thoughts now. Said relative has given up on even Cracker Jack or ball-point tats! On the one hand, its kinda cool to do something spontaneous when I'm a very reserved person (that friend of mine from 2d grade on who lives down your way has told me several times that I think too much). So in some ways I'm envious (I admit it) that you could do something on the spur of the moment, but then you have to live with the consequences sometimes, or you have to go in for 6 months having a laser burn those "indiscretions" off. When I had too much to drink and wound up piercing my ear (did it myself with a safety pin & cheap silver stud--always had trouble finding the exit hole though and always wound up getting (ahem) irritated & just shoving it through) I knew it was something that could come out when I got bored with it. BTW, I was sorry to read about that infection at your belly button--hope the antibiotics are helping it.

And riding a mechanical bull, huh? With friends like those, who needs Rob? To quote Mr. Kool-Aid, "Oh, yeah!" It must have been quite an experience--for the patrons! Will she lose her top? Can the dress contain her? Tune in next week for another adventure of Danielle of the West!

When you're in Oahu I highly recommend the Turtle Bay Resort (http://www.turtlebayresort.com/). It's in Northern Oahu and about right between the famous North Shore and Polynesian Cultural Center (10 or 20 minutes drive to either location in opposite directions)

The place gives you the Old Hawaii feelings because of its beautiful yet somewhat seclusive location. It also has very excellent tennis and golf facility there too.

Many national and international events have been held there.

Many Hollywood movies have also been made there. The most recent one is this "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" movie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9podUETps8).

Don't change who you are ...listen to yourself (oh, and me, but just this once ;)). You aren't someone's puppet, you don't need someone telling you to put your piercings back, after you've decided to get rid of them. You're a grown, intelligent woman--you can make up your mind for yourself. Just because your profession is as a model and you aren't ashamed of who you are or what you look like and are relatively comfortable with nudity doesn't mean you're out to hook up with some stranger who thinks its cool (macho?) to send you explicit emails, treat you like an unfeeling object or have trouble telling fantasy from reality--you only work in fantasy, but you live in the real world, just like everyone else. Guys who think its fun or cool to play cheesy games, who think its proof of their manliness or manhood should probably do one of two things--get out a ruler and double-check, or just simply walk away with their tails between their legs because I think we all know that in reality they're just compensating for something. And lastly, you don't need me standing up for you when you can do it so well yourself, and I won't have your back, or run interference for you, but what I will do is stand beside you, side by side, and support you when you confront those who try to intimidate you one way or another. You are who you are, Ms D, and if that's too much for some little boys (or girls) to deal with, then maybe they need to visit a site more aimed at them.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. I THINK that is how the saying goes.

Anyway, Danielle, there will always be those who want to tear someone down or think they are better than another based on different life choices. It's life and it can't be avoided. Some people, because of what you do, feel it's their "right" to call you names, say bad things about you, proposition you, whatever.

But... if you remain strong and true to yourself, these people can't have any effect on you. Just realize idiots and ******** are everywhere and make the conscious choice to "blow them off" and pay no attention. It's probably difficult being young without a life time of experience behind you but, trust me, as one who has experience their own share of ridicule, "those people" don't mean diddly in the big scheme of life. Be tough and true to yourself!;)

I can only double what's said above.

About that Myspace messaging I might have an idea:
(I don't have Myspace myself, so I might be wrong here - folks, help me out here, if so.)

If you can change the address those messages should be sent in your Myspace account, you could set up a (free) mail account just for that, set it to keep messages just one day and maybe have it reply "Message automatically deleted. I told you, I wouldn't read it." ;)

Some free mail accounts can be set to handle specified mail senders special. You might let official Myspace messages be forwarded to your normal mail address, so their announcements reach you.

It is really hard to "block someone" when more just keep flowing in the door - so to speak. Depending on D's account settings, anyone can send her a message or make comments. As soon as she "blocks" one person, another will write something rude and crude to her.

Go out on the Web and find sites that offer lots of layout options. There must be some without "message me" links.

Danielle,
A lot of times, those "virus warning" pop-up windows are actually adware disguised to look like real warnings. don't open those because they can download more crap on your computer.

I'd first run a scan using whatever virus software is installed on the computer (McAfee, Norton....etc. Just make sure it's up to date first!). If that doesn't find anything, you could download one of the free adware removal programs, like Ad-Aware (there are many others too) and run a scan with that and see if it finds anything.

Replacing a DVD burner on a laptop can be expensive since they're sometimes proprietary and have to come from the original manufacturer

ugo

Normal that appears some virus. You can always disappear from antivirus. But if they are always fixed, there is the risk that the system windows must be planned again. That is to refer again all. Especially if the PC jams.

Very good sound advice.

Assumes you have one installed, if not various companies do online Virus scanning and some are very good. Also do you have personal firewall installed ? That is a neccesary evil I'm afraid.
Replacing a DVD burner on a laptop can be expensive since they're sometimes proprietary and have to come from the original manufacturer.
Sad to say that is also true, usually ripoff prices unless warranty still in force.

Send your laptop to whyyou he can fix it.
Bet he could too !!

More than likely Malware than a virus but certainly a possibility. Does the laptop actually function? If so,I would offload any precious files to an external Hard Drive, well you can't use the DVD (nix) and they are so cheap well worth the investment. If the DVD drive is totally snafu then see if Rob's got an external USB drive & do a complete reinstall/recovery if it will let you. All depends how old your laptop is. Is there any warranty left?

Final option: plead poverty and ask Father Christmas at FTV Towers for a new one so you can do your website for him !!!!! :D

Danielle,
I was curious, so I googled it, here's what I found, from Yahoo Answers:

"W32/Sdbot-NI is a worm which attempts to spread to remote network shares. It also contains backdoor Trojan functionality, allowing unauthorised remote access to the infected computer via IRC channels while running in the background as a service process.
W32/Sdbot-NI copies itself to the Windows system folder as SVDHOST.EXE and creates the following entries in the registry to run itself on system startup:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curren...
Microsoft Com Port Manager = svdhost.exe
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curren...
Microsoft Com Port Manager = svdhost.exe
W32/Sdbot-NI spreads to network shares with weak passwords as a result of the backdoor Trojan element receiving the appropriate command from a remote user."

Doesn't sound too good!

There's more information at the link below, as well as removal instructions, but BE CAREFUL if you try to remove it yourself. You have to go into the registries and you can really mess things up there, believe me, I've done it!!

Hi Danielle,

you may want to give HijackThis (http://www.hijackthis.de/en) a try.
The program name seems nasty, but it's actually a tool against hijacking. It takes an inventory of running processes, registry entries and more. The resulting logfile can be sent to the site above for analysis.
You'll be given a detailed description of the processes and configuration, weighting of good / bad / unknown and on known threads a link to tools or procedures to get rid of them.

For me the absolute minimum of security when using the internet is

use Windows Firewall at least
There may be better firewall software out there, but the integrated firewall gives at least some protection.
use a background virus scanner and update it regulary
There are plenty around, even free ones.
install Microsoft's updates
Anoying sometimes, but most of the threads not using email come in through long known security holes.
don't open email attachments from unknown senders
Sounds trivial, but curiosity works for the bad guys here. ;)
make regular backups
Preached every day by myself, I too tend to neglect it on my private computers. :o

You may want to add a spam filter for your email, if not included by the virus scanner or activated at your internet provider.

And don't fall for those "virus warning" popups grande351 wrote about.
I've seen it, avoided it, had the result on my lab table. Nasty.

svdhost.exe - Dangerous
svdhost.exe
Svdhost.exe is W97M.Mupps.
W97M.Mupps is Trojan horse that opens a back door to a remote location on the compromised computer.

Looks like you need to install a good virus scanner on your laptop. I recommend AVG Anti-Virus Free. It's found at Grisoft.com and it's free of charge. They also have a more featured version that you can buy.

It is not only at times the anti-virus that doesn't succeed in chasing the difficult virus on the system Windows. Those will remain always.

If something has been installed on the laptop of Danielle it is probable that the system has not supported that drivers. And so the connection Web doesn't work. And it always appears: Error (X)!
I think that the installation must be removed. And to see if it returns to work well the System Windows.
There is otherwise the risk to renew the system Windows in complete way. And to make to also work well the connection Web.
At times when different drivers or programs it is installed, the system goes crazy.
It depends from that characteristics it is the Laptop (or PC), and from his installed hardware.

The only thing I think she could do to calm things down there, besides adding in the note that says she doesn't answer emails via MySpace anymore, is to do what other models have done from time to time, and that is to make her profile private so that only her friends can see the full page. Give it a month or so and things should then settle down for her (I'd hope), and then she could make her profile public again.

Okay...just did a scan on my computer last night...here's a new one Worm:Win32/Pushbot.gen.

Technology is just not my thing.

So you found it, now just remove/heal it with the same program. Or at least quarantine it. Assuming your antivirus program can do this. Although some worms may not be able to be deleted because that how they are. If your current program is unable to remove the worm, you may need to download a program designed for such a thing.

It's not you, it's the technology.

I'd like to compare a computer to a living car:
It's supposed to work without the need to check up the motor every time.
It has to get fuel, oil and water (updates).
It can be upgraded / trained to do new things (install new programs).
But it can also get the flu (viruses, trojans & co) if you drive through the wrong neighborhood or park next to an infected other car.
And there are gangs out there, that try to tag your car with their logo/virus.

It seems like you got a few bugs in your system. I am not a geek, but there are a few things you can do. First, make sure you have an up to date security software. I use McAfee and it does a good job. It will automatically get updates to protect your system from most bugs. Second, you can actually go into your system and restore your computer back to a specific day before the trouble started. I have had to do this and it worked perfectly for me. Third, you should make sure you have all your pop-up blockers active. It can be a pain sometimes, but will prevent many bad things from happening during your session. Finally, never open any site or email you do not recognize. People all over line these messages and sites with just the kind of bugs you are experiencing. I hope that helps. I am by no means a "geek" but just some things I have learned along the way.
Jim

Go to the doctor. If you have insurance, go to the doctor. If you've had anything serious in your past, go to the doctor. If you've been feeling out of sorts and don't know why, but its been going on for more than a couple weeks, go to the doctor. There are some things you can walk off, and then there are some things you can't. To be perfectly honest, I am always happy when I come back from the doctor and nothing new has gone wrong; and I wish I'd listened to my body earlier, or had medical coverage to go to the doctor before things went so haywire, so go to the doctor. And when you go there, tell her/him (mine's a her), "Dammit Jim, I'm a model, not a doctor!" in your best, gruffest DeForest Kelley voice.

Have you checked other places for that nursery set? I noticed a couple years ago when in a similar situation they were out of stock right after Thanksgiving, but got my name on a list to be notified as soon as the item was available, even before it was going to be back in the store. I got that by going to the manufacturer's website, and then ordered directly from them (same price as in the store--manufacturer's suggested retail price, dig?). The item arrived literally a day or two before Christmas, so it was perfect, although I was checking my blood pressure more frequently as the time got shorter!

And wicked cool for you going for such a nice, long walk! When I was in my early teens, I sued to go on the Volksmarch (I think that's what they're called) at the USAF Academy. Those were great long walks around the grounds of the Academy, with plenty of brauts & Lowenbrau after (not that I got any of the Brau--alright, you twisted my arm, I got some "snuck" to me--but I do love a good braut with lots of Deutchlander mustard). I love going for walks, personally, especially in the country, bounding up and down hills and so on, but for now I'm basically stuck to the sidewalks and so on. I did go for a 1 1/2 mile walk yesterday, to & from the supermarket pushing a stroller filled with fruits, veggies and meats. Use 'em or lose 'em, you know--gotta keep those legs working, heart pumping ans do on ...(shrugging my shoulders here because I'm not sure how to end--anyone got a cow to drop, or can I just jump the shark? Right, both, wicked cool! :D)

Depends ...from what I understand from one or two of my doctors (women--women make better physicians, IMO, than men), the closest a guy can get to experiencing childbirth is passing a kidney stone. Speaking for myself, I'll pass (ha ha). And the closest a guy can get to a pelvic exam is a prostate exam, and let me just say right here and now that it sucks big time! But ya gotta do what ya gotta do, and if you have some reason to believe that you might need treatment, you'd better just suck it up and go to the doctor, and even if you're feeling fine, you should still go once every year or two for a work up. I have a friend (and distant cousin) who was feeling fine and dandy, went to the doctor and found out that this bump he had was a tumor, and it was cancerous, and this was the 2nd time he'd had it, and he wasn't even 30 yet! A year and a half later, after kemo, radiation & surgery, he's cancer-free because he went to the doctor, so there. So, Ms D, just go, have the doc tell you you're fine (we hope--don't want to jinx anything), you just need some iron or something, and then come back here or go on a shoot with one less thing stressing you out, alright? Oh, almost forgot, but they do make smaller speculum to look inside the backside--just one more thing guys might get to experience! Oh, joy ... (to quote Stimpy)

Even at your young age, yearly check-ups are a good idea, so i'm glad you're going to go. Your mom is just being a mom. You realize that she only bugs you because she loves you, and that's great. It may be a pain sometimes, but you know she'll be there when you need her! I'm also happy to hear that you have insurance, that's really important these days with medical costs being what they are! I hope something is done to help the folks that don't have coverage, especially with more and more people getting laid-off from their jobs.

I hope that Danielle doesn't have anything. At times I understand the embarrassment with the doctors, and to feel to his ease. I believe that it is opportune to make controls, and to have doctors able to diagnose well and to make their proper work.
I don't often have trust in the doctors. They have told me to always make the controls. I still have problems of kidney and stomach that it keeps on making some vomits. The colleagues of my job have me almost ruined. And I am waiting for the accursed reimbursement. But they don't want to know about these things. Because there is the risk of a great tension.

Wow, I'm sorry the tattoo removals are, it seems, getting more painful. They say that the more you endure pain, the easier it gets, but I've sometimes found the opposite to be true, that you go into a situation you know will cause some pain, start anticipating it, and then you're so focused on the pain that it really does hurt more. Is there something you can do, besides holding the cold-air tube, during the procedure that will distract you and give your brain something else to think about--long division in the head? Can you listen to music, read, anything?

That's really cool about your bro & soon-to-be step-bro. I see my brother a couple times a week and my mom & nieces almost every day (as you know). I actually see my sis-in-law more than my brother, but she doesn't work the vampire shift, and I am, after all, a reverse-vampire (I walk the sunlit street drinking the blood of tomatoes--dag nabbit!, I coulda had a V8!!!!). I've never been overseas myself, but think its pretty cool that he's getting to come over here. BTW, where is your mom going to live? Is her hubby-to-be coming here, or will she eventually move with him back to Jolly Olde? Either way I sincerely hope she'll get the happiness she deserves.

Yes, yes, yes...we finally got the members area completed enough to send off to CCBill (the billing company that will be handling my website). How exciting...in about two weeks or so (hopefully by Christmas) the premium are will be launched. You guys are going to love it...it looks amazing and there are quite a few changes we put on the site.

What a great christmas present that will be.

So anyways, yep another complainer...but you want to hear the funniest part??? The guy actually had the audacity to accuse me of taking advantage of the girls and only being in the shoots to get "sexual gratification".....okay, I'm not denying it, but no that is not the only reason that I am in those shoot. Anyways I am sick of trying to explain it to people...let them think what they want to think.

That complainers just don't know whats good.
I love the true feelings that show in every shoot you do and look forward to every update you're assisting.

Yes, let them think what they want. That's a good view. You can't please everyone anyways. (But you do please the most. ;))

I can't wait for the members area. I hope that CCBill accepts Visa right from the start. A few new sites I know of had an almost two week delay before they would take Visa

Don't let the negativity get to you, Danielle. You definitely add something special to every shoot you appear in. :) I'm sure the "haters" are way outnumbered and besides, once your members area opens, you'll probably make fewer appearances on FTV, so they'll have less to complain about.

As far as you "only being in the shoots for sexual gratification". What a bunch of BS! One of the best things about your appearances is that you really are into the girls and not faking it like you see on other sites. Is there a rule somewhere that you can't enjoy yourself? I must have missed it. :D

12-09-2008, 10:49 AM
I think people should notice that if you are assisting in shoots there is either a demand for it or it helps in the shoot itself (puts the girls at ease that there is another girl, etc.) so they need to just accept it. plus from what what i seen from the previews for the next two girls, you are not mentioned so it looks like you did not even participate in those. which personally i am a little disappointed since we still have to wait for your site to be up (by the way, congrats and i can't wait) but i guess i will have to survive for another two weeks. :)

Neat about your premium site. I'm sure you're really excited, and the front page Rob created was gorgeous. And about the haters, well, what can you do? Some folks complain way too much and don't just sit down, relax and enjoy what's in front of them. And the way I see it, if they think they can do better, they should put their money where their mouths' are and go out there and actually try to do what Rob, you and everyone else whose either worked with Rob behind the camera, or worked in front of the camera, do. One of those things where if you don't have constructive criticism to offer, then put up or stop your whining. But, of course, that's just my opinion, so maybe I should just shut up now ;)

I've had some fun here, and then there have been times when I've pulled (more of) my hair out (a la Homer Jay Simpson). Sometimes I read the posts while playing with my ... beard (perverts! JK & LOL). There have been times when I pop in a couple times a day, even if for just a minute or two to read new posts, and then there have been times when I've been away for more than a week. Its only been 2 months since WhyYou, Ugo, LeoRex, Ryan, yours truly and a few others first joined and began posting, and the board has really changed a lot. Tigger's accident actually, I think, drew us all together even more and made the board more of a community than just some naughty bulletin board thingy (that's me, always trying to find the silver lining--its usually polyester). And then we have the whole European and Down Under communities to consider, plus India, the Middle East and Peru. I do, like Ms D, sometimes puzzle over the discrepancy between members and active members, and will even go so far as to wonder if there are so many active members out there, why don't I see more (any) posts from them. I guess the active members are the one who have posted at least once, while the rest just filled out the form to create an identity. I'd never bothered to join a forum before, and to be honest when I joined and saw how many were from Alison Angel's old forum, I was a bit intimidated--after all, these folks all knew each other already, but I found them welcoming, so I've stayed. So all you looky-loos out there hanging around the fringes, if someone as standoffish as I can come in and post, so can you--at least say hi to Danielle, maybe give her a thumbs up or leave her a smiley face or something to show her the love, dig? :)

I wasn't great at math, and had to have tutors on occasion, but I did manage to get as far as trig with a passing grade. The problem is, while I make myself do basic math by hand just to prove to myself I can do it, I was asked just the other night to help out someone younger figure our the median average on 3 problems. Alright, first I knew there was a median average, a mean average and a mode average, but couldn't, for the life of me, remember which was which (and Wikipedia gave a formula that I did not understand, at all, and which made me feel even more stupid than I did before, and that's saying something ;)). Anyway, it took me about an hour to sort it out. I am now dreading the day when I'm asked to do anything harder, such as algebra, figure a sine, cosine or tangent or work with logarithms, so don't be hard on yourself. You use algebra or higher math how often, compared with language, spoken or written? It is a matter of practice. I took Spanish for three years and was good enough to sit down and read Don Quixote by the end of my 3rd year, in Spanish, but now I can't be anything more than polite in very broken Espanol, and I get my tenses wrong, left and right. So you go back and brush up, then come back fighting hard and strong in the summer or fall--in the meantime, you're back on campus with a bag stuffed with really thick, really expensive texts slung over your shoulder, trying hard not to fall asleep in the boring classes, taking down every single thing that hot prof says in the really wicked cool class. Feed your mind, Ms D, and enjoy! :)!!

I'm not sure what kind of paint it was...but it wasn't latex. I did end up washing it off when I got home, but only because I didn't want little dried paint bits all over my bed in the morning. Danielle, you are an incredibly smart woman. don't let the classes intimidate you. if you don't understand something early on, seek help. its easy to move on if your foundation is solid. people will often not ask for help and without that good foundation the rest seems too difficult. Sometimes we build up a subject so much in our minds that we make it more difficult that it really is. once you start school things will be easier because you will fall back into the swing of things... although i really don't think you will need any help... but i thought i would give you the advice i wish someone would have given me when i went back to school.

About i-Tunes: you can, in fact, burn the music you've downloaded onto a CD and then rip it back in any of several formats. I ripped mine back in .mp3 format. I could then add them to my i-Tunes library and ultimately load them onto my iPdod. Hope this helps!

I'm determined to become a Fleshlight Girl...but I'm going to need some help from you guys. Go to this link (http://support.fleshlight.com/index.php?_m=tickets&_a=submit) and email the Fleshlight people about making me a Fleshlight Girl...it would be mucho appreciated.

Your wish is my command. I filed in a suggestion for you being their next Fleshlight Girl.
Now, if the other 499 members do the same, you (and we) should get your Fleshlight for sure.

(Hey all, celebrate, we're 500!)

Hola, amiga! Read your journal this eve, and am glad that next week is going to give you some time to unwind. Sounds like you've had a touch too much drama going on, more than was necessary. I like some drama, personally, but largely confine it to GL (I'm getting the twitches again--oh now! Ha ha!) Chances are all is well with you by now (hope so anyway). Like the new eyes at the top of my FTV page (I liked Ms Laryssa's, but yours are wicked awesome!). I don't know about the others, but I like hearing about your shoots, both the ones you do behind the camera as well as the ones you do in front (nice compliment--told ya so, too! This time "I told you so" has good connotations, no?). Like a lot of the others, I'd love to see how other artist see you, but of course also know that the copyrights aren't owned by you, so you have to have that added permission to use their work on your site. One of these days, I expect you're face is going to be all over a gallery somewhere between LA and NYC (maybe it already is?). Anyway, don't forget to just breathe and maybe go for a walk and smell the roses while you have the time! Hasta luego, amiga :)

Hello Danielle

Some reactions to the latest post in your journal:
- I hope that you can very soon get rid of that annoying mosquito problem.
- I wish your sister all the best with the birth of her child.
- I'm glad to read that your life is 'falling into place'
- I'm looking forward to your shoot with that FTVgirl you've met.
- I'm jealous of that member who will meet you.

Best wishes
Marcus

I've realized that this forum is really wacky. Everytime I go onto the forum it doesn't show the new "unread" threads (the title is normally bold when it is unread), so I'm stuck going through every post to see if there is something new on it.

Check the date and time that the threads were posted in. I have it set to display the newest first. So the latest threads are always at the top. That way I can just check the date and time of the lowermost threads and work upward from there. :)

I have a suggestion on the mosquito front. I had a problem in my apartment, and I started fighting back with one of these. Not only is it satisfying to take the mozzies out, they begin to learn you're a bad *** and stop coming back!

Big whoo-hoos to your sister & bro-in-law, and the rest of your family! Good luck tomorrow (getting up, not with school where I'm sure you'll do fantastic ;)). Start saving your pennies (those you don't invest in, say, mineral rights or something more substantial than paper), and bon voyage, both to Maui and around the country. Never been to DC myself (for that matter I've only been east of the Colorado-Kansas-Nebraska border twice in my life), so all I can do is suggest you visit Yosemite, but book early, and Tahoe, oh and go to San Francisco and get yourself some sourdough right from Fisherman's Wharf--miss that city! And you've got to check out the bison in Golden Gate Park (I'm assuming they're still there). Oh, and if you make it to Colorado, you've got to go to Estes Park and visit the Stanley Hotel (or stay there for a night!) and then drive up to the Continental Divide (be very careful though with the turns). Maybe even take in a winery or two in Sonoma or Napa, or visit Calistoga and see the geyser (not quite the same as its namesake, Old Faithful, in Yellowstone, but you work with what ya got). Anyway, have a great day tomorrow and every day, Ms D!

"I got to meet one of my members, for the first time. We ended up going out to dinner at this really nice restaraunt. And he also got me a bottle of port wine. He was very much the gentleman, and was very courteous (and no we didn't do anything, for those of you who are having naughty thoughts.) Now maybe you guys will be less afraid to approach me in public" Quoted from Danielle's Journal.

And now a report from the lucky guy: Truly a delightful evening and Danielle's beauty is far deeper than we see in Rob's wonderful photos and videos. She is a precious, energetic, vivacious, gorgeous lady. Danielle is not only a refined lady she is extremely interesting and very articulate. It was my honor to be in her presence. And I must tell you the highlight of the evening, to me, was slow dancing with Danielle to Nat King Cole's 50's song, "Unforgetable". She is and so was my evening with her!

Hi Danielle,

I just saw your latest video clip and I felt I should write to you. I honestly don't know why people act the way they do. Sometimes I don't think people know when to keep their trap shut. Could be jealousy, ignorance or ?
We are very lucky to have you be so open to us on this site. I don't think "lucky" is a good term, probably "blessed" fits better. We are very blessed to have you Danielle! There are not very many women in your business that are as open to their fans as you. So thank you for everything! I guess as the song goes "Every Rose Has a Thorn." Sorry you had to be pricked. Hey D,

I just watched the latest four video logs and was REALLY impressed, and touched, by your plea for "respect." You have been nothing but great to your members and guests. Each video log speaks directly to one or more viewers. You thank members for their gifts. You "listen" to your members and provide "updates" giving us what we request. NO OTHER SITE is that personal and good to it's members - paying or guests. You even ask members to stop by and go to dinner with you OR say you might visit them in their city one day. After watching your logs about school, I feel like a "proud parent" listening to his daughter excited about her first week back. You get ALL of MY respect. Thanks for being just the lady you are!;):D

No one's perfect--so you forgot a couple cables, so the Internet sucks, well, alright, but you're a bright young woman and so you can't do the busy work, that's okay--it just means you might have some more time to stop and smell the roses (or tropical flowers) while those birds swipe your Dole Whip! Then Rob can get you when you're looking serene, and when you've got that fire of indignation working. Ahhhh, paradise ...! Seriously, I sort of wish I'd joined your site (still working on it) because from what I read about this test webcam thingy you did I'm not sure how long ago and with the first official webcam opener coming on Friday, I'd honestly love to chat, but c'est la vie ...someday. Oh, by the way, I forget if I put in a good word for this area should you manage to take that cross-country tour this summer, but if you do make it up here to this neck of the woods, you really have to stop by and see ...the mustangs. God, they are magnificent. They're smaller than Arabians (back in Colorado we called them Indian ponies), but they are magnificent ...really, truly free spirits. Have fun in Hawaii (was it Pu'u Ola'i beach you went to?) and have a safe journey home, all of you. See ya on the flip side! (I have so many threads to catch up on, not to mention your video messages--looks like you've made a big, positive impression on a lot of people (I never doubted you for a second).

Hey Danielle
Try the beaches of Paia, cool lil surf town, big with the windsurfing and kiteboarding crowd. Cheaper on that side too than the more touristy areas etc.
Lahanai the whaling town is also cool and as mentioned the falls in Hana are awesome too.

Are you doing any watersports? surfing? windsurfing etc? snorkelling etc.
Hope the weather changes for the better (someone once told me it rains somewhere every day in Hawaii) for you and hope Rob is at least enjoying a break even though the net service sucks. Any other islands you guys are headed to?
Wish I was there!!
