Danielle, don't let the negative commenters on Rabbit's Review upset you --- just immature bullies who want to provoke a reaction --- some guys have the mentality of 12-year-old boys --- we know you're a sweet sexy intelligent young lady (who even listens to NPR) --- xoXOxo

Hi Danielle,
I agree with what some of the other forum members wrote when they said that some immature idiots just want to get a reaction by posting negative comments. Apparently some people have such a poor self image that they can only feel good by putting other people down. Plus, it is easy for someone to write anonymous negative comments but none of those idiots would likely ever have the nerve or ability to do what you do and to put themselves out there like you do. It takes guts and a certain type of person to do what you do and you do it in a very classy way, plus you are sexy and cute as can be!

Here it is, February, and I am just getting around to watching some of your video journals. In one you created around Thanksgiving, you mentioned a girl coming down from Seattle for the express purpose of determining your compatibility. You said you are open and ready for a relationship with another woman and you got along well with this particular girl on Skype.
So, what happened? Did you in fact get along? Was she to be a real life lover rather than another girl shooting porn with you?
I would love to see you in a serious loving relationship. It seems way long overdue for romantic such as yourself.:D

I still think it's pretty sweet that I have a big butt. I always see these websites that are all about big butts. The will "measure" the girls butt and take a picture of it but if you notice the girl is always bent over or angled in some way so that the measurement is larger. I don't have to do that :D

Not sure why I haven't shot more of it. Having a full bush down there doesn't make me uncomfortable. I guess I just prefer it a little more groomed. I will definitely try to remember not to shave for a while so I can do some shoots with a bush.

Just a quick post on your journal entry 184 in which you said you thought you didn`t like the way you looked with some make-up. Danielle, I just saw your video reply to my question about braces. The reason that I asked is because I have a RAGING braces fetish. Rilee Marks is currently one of my favorite models in the industry, and the braces just top it all off. Just seeing her smile turns me on, because she is just so pretty as is. All I can say is that if you got braces, that would be SOOOOO HOT. You are quite gorgeous as is, and the braces would make you look even cuter.

Well the braces won't be seen. The top braces will be on the inside of my teeth rather than the typical outside. The bottom braces will be on the outside but my lip will cover them.

Hi Danielle,
Regarding your video response where you were talking about Love Bug and Isis - one suggestion to get Isis from clawing the carpet is to make sure her litter box is accessible (not sure if it's in the bathroom and someone has closed the door). If that's not the problem, you can spray the kitty gymnasium with catnip spray - it will draw her there instead of the carpet for clawing. Another trick is to put double-sided tape on carpet where Isis claws - they hate that.
Any guy who hurts Love Bug (you mentioned someone who was mad at you and took it out on her) should have his testicles removed with tin shears and fried with basil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil and served to him. In a blender.
For tickets and traffic school, next time you get a traffic ticket tell them you're going to contest the charge. Show up for the judge in a low-cut, sheer blouse, no bra and short shorts. It would help if you spill a glass of water down your front, just to guarantee victory. Or drop a pencil and say sweetly "Oops...!"
If you want a funny video, check out Meridith Vieira saying "Oh Sh..!" on nationwide TV when trying to read a text in a car simulator. If the link doesn't come through, look for "meredith vieira text message sh.."

Hi Danielle,
I've noticed a lot of really delicious items in your store, but you're missing one that I think (IMO) your fans would really love...
A Danielle Calendar!
Just think, as I'm waking up, feeling like something one of my cats killed, thinking my job just couldn't suck any worse, I would go in to brush my teeth and there would be a smiling, happy beautiful woman looking back at me! Danielle, you could cure the morning blah's for men (and women too!) all over the world...possibly leading to world peace (think Vladimir Putin deciding to invade the Ukraine, then feeling all peaceful and happy because you made his day)! He'd skip the war and just sit alone in his study (or wherever he sits), admiring you and thinking happy thoughts!
Over the PA system we hear: "...and the Nobel Peace Price for achieving peace in our time goes to...Danielle Delauney...!!!" (cue crowd cheering, world leaders applauding, etc).
Ok, maybe a little hyperbole, but it really would make my day. You could have an R-rated and X-rated version, different themes (collect'em all!), etc.
How about it (he said, hopefully...)?

Danielle Calendars? Great idea!
I actually considered printing a calendar myself, for my personal use, but an official, professionally printed calendar would be great!
I had started to create a selection of pictures, using two inoffensive landscape photos of each set to use as a screensaver before I switched big and just used my whole collection of pictures - which has grown to over 18,000 pictures by now - for that screensaver. :o
I might have to get on with that selection and provide it as source for a calendar, IF Danielle wants to have a pre-selection to choose from. ;)

Hi Anoree,
The other month I wrote you suggesting that forum admins try to automatically embed a free third-party language translation widget into every page (e.g. header or footer) which vBulletin assembles. Did you have any time to look into this? By supporting more languages, perhaps Danny can get more international sales.

Hey Dani,
You've told us it is now your ambition to forsake traditional "commodity" (mass sales) video for live cam shows, so I'd like to bring your attention to several information sources which I hope may prove useful in helping you.
First is an article that advocates for the wisdom of your new path which, at the least, should provide encouragement. It writes in part:
DVDs are dead, pay sites are struggling and porn is free and unlimited... Why live cams, Twitter and Skype may be the porn industry?s last hope.
Find this September 5, 2012 publication here (http://www.buzzfeed.com/michaelstabile/how-live-sex-is-saving-the-porn-industry).
The suggestion is made that if you can beat back the ample camming competition and serve the one-percenters, it's not impossible to rake in enormous profits: Maitresse Madeline, Dominatrix, Auctions One-On-One Webcam Session For $42,000 writes the article of 01/09/2014 here (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/01/09/maitresse-madeline-webcam-session-42000-cybersex_n_4567738.html).
It seems that the mass-media has picked up on the erotic camming industry, because recent months have seen the broadcast of not merely one, but at least three English-language documentaries on this subject! You can thank my informal UK source for the discovery of the two from Britain.
Sadly, I can't tell an American how to purchase a copy of any of them, although perhaps your provider Cox has a means of selling you the HBO program about which I don't know. The two British programs are among those typically made available via free Internet VoD, at least for a limited time after broadcast, but only to British IP addresses via common geolocation tools.
But guess what? Just because it's hard or impossible to buy legitimate access, doesn't mean you have to forgo this very timely crop of vital business intelligence. As I write, you can find at least one copy of each program on YouTube, and goodness knows how many other places less subject to easy scrutiny. Now, onto the programs themselves.
First, this year HBO effectively resurrected the breakthrough series it launched a generation ago and retired in 2009, called REAL SEX. The new half-hour series is called SEX // NOW. The pilot episode, airing in January, consisted of three different segments on erotic camming. Find a preview of the show here (http://hbowatch.com/real-sex-back-then-sexnow/) and a chat with its creator, plus the pilot trailer, here (http://www.vice.com/read/hbos-sexnow-gets-inside-the-world-of-cam-girls). The most shocking (and unsubstantiated) text-based claim it makes is this:
There are an estimated 6 million cam models globally. (sic.)
To paraphrase Mr. Morse's quotation of Numbers 23:23, "What hath Jennicam wrought?"
The second program on this subject is from the UK's BBC 3 and called The Truth About Webcam Girls. The BBC describes it here (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b03w2w8t), which includes a two-minute trailer and notes that this program about UK camming debuted to Britons in February.
The third program, also British, was broadcast by Channel Five in early April. It is called Webcam Girls - At Your Service and is profiled by Five here (http://www.channel5.com/shows/webcam-girls-at-your-service). It glibly claims a mere 10,000 British women do erotic camming - which would be barely a fifth of the global rate which the HBO program asserted. It also claims that earnings average 800 pounds sterling weekly. I found the handful of remarks posted on its legitimate (UK-only) playback Web page, especially by claimed camming pros, interesting.
I hope that, one way or another, you arm yourself ASAP with these information sources, which I am sure no small number of your competitors will. Even if they provide you little or no new insider wisdom, I think it's also important to keep tabs on what the public at large (including potential clients) is being told about one's industry.
Best of luck!
http://wwwcdn.channel5.com/assets/images/000/056/997/large_size_18477.jpg
P.S. With all this broadcast media interest in camming, I would not be at all surprised if someone took up the suggestion I posted the other month about telling the Jennicam story to a new generation.

But your intention to take 5yo nephew Carter to Disneyland obliges me to warn you not to accept any invitation to stay after the park closes. Some of the staff can get pretty damn rowdy!!! Just trust me on this one, okay?

No wonder then that you are so into Sailor Moon, considering what she does on "underground" tribute Web sites! How about snipping out a section of orgasmic squealing from the audio track of a suitable Hentai Anime and using it as your cell phone ring tone?
...especially Disney cartoon porn. Probably one of my weirder fetishes.
And I forget... Did you remember to sing Some Day My Prince Will Come in your recent naughty Snow White video? And did he? How many times?

As I am ignorant of Ghiscari, I must admit that I did not know what Mhysa meant. Thus I asked Missandei, who said it simply denotes "mother." (Apparently, canines and felines are not into using possessives.)
For those of you who want to get into, or catch up with, Game of Thrones, check out the often hilarious Funny or Die miniseries, Gay of Thrones (http://www.funnyordie.com/gayofthrones), in which the swishiest Hollywood hair stylist you will ever meet recaps the episodes of the third and fourth seasons!

Hey Dani,
Those in the know about FTV are not surprised that many of its frauleins are into what a Volkswagen ad campaign in the 90s made famous in America, Fahrvergnuegen (http://bit.ly/1jqxxJy) ("driving pleasure"). It is natural that having spent many early years in Germany, you also often find life behind the wheel to be a special experience!
Those who didn't see your video log episode here (http://danielleftv.com/forumvideo/d450.wmv) explaining your love of the road can instead listen to a brief relevant audio extract by unzipping and playing the mp3 file here (http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1139&stc=1&d=1400029320).
Guess what? It turns out you are hardly the only girl to, in your own words, "get such a kick" out of driving over speed bumps to music. Since you have now come of age (and are even buying your own health insurance) we are allowed to have my friends Garfunkel and Oates explain it to you with their original song, Go Kart Racing, here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwGfTuUDnDs), (almost correctly) captioned by a fan so that you can sing along!

You know, Mickey's wandering eye eventually led Minnie to retaliate, as we all learned during their ugly and highly public divorce proceedings. Who can ever forget how it began?
Judge: Mr. Mouse, your petition states that you are seeking a divorce from your wife, Minnie, on the grounds that she has lost her sanity.
Mickey: No, your honor, there's been a mistake. What I actually told my attorney was that I'm sure she's f_ucking Goofy.

Hey Dani,
The other day I caught up with your vlogs through D460. I was especially amused by D456 (http://danielleftv.com/forumvideo/d456.wmv), titled Being super silly, wherein you used digital camera software which let you play with dynamic FX ("special effects") in creative ways. It's something NEW and I think your long-time fans will get a KICK out of it - even if they no longer check out every one of your vlog postings.
Personally, the first shot of you - with an arrow through your lovely head - was a source of nostalgia to me. Even before you were born, I was a computer graphics pro. One day, I got the job of creating interesting images to demo the abilities of a new, cutting-edge, high-resolution electronic display. One of the images was a set of STATIC headshots, which I decorated with animated graffiti - including one poor fellow whose head landed up pierced by an arrow! In those days, unless you had a QUARTER-MILLION DOLLARS (x2 in 2014 dollars) to buy a Quantel Paintbox (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwO4LP0wLbY) (WAY beyond our budget!), you had to do what I did - write your own software to get the job done! And now, low-cost, mass-market software running on a humble PC can recognize your head, including where your eyes and mouth sit, and annotate your image on the fly. Credit the awesome progress in making digital hardware many thousands of times more cost-effective, just over your own short lifetime.
Again, I encourage you to invest in something like the $250 green-screen kit I described earlier, which would let you use a static or dynamic background (there's plenty of copyright-free imagery within the Wikimedia Commons (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page)), to make even ordinary vlog shoots more interesting. Visit the Congo jungle, a frigid arctic igloo (beware of "pokies"!), the pyramids of Egypt, a sailing ship full of horny pirates, the Eiffel Tower, a camel caravan in the sands of Arabia, the Battle of Waterloo, a Venitian canal gondola, King Kong's up-facing palm (or prick), the Houses of Parliament, a human mouth, a crater on the moon, Cerne Abbas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cerne_Abbas_Giant) (home to the biggest porn art in the world), a dangerous big-city slum, the back of a housefly, Disneyland - or even Disneyworld (you FINALLY get to go!) - all from the comfort of your home studio!

Hey Dani,
As I freely confessed (http://danielleftv.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37863) long ago, I don't know the porn film business... So I don't know any implied business advice to you is worth very much. But the Internet makes it possible for people to discover and explore so many things previously inaccessible! Like most men, I've often been a porn consumer during my post-pubescent years. Thus it is a real temptation to pull back the curtain, so to speak, and examine the machinery which has made the production of porn operate, even if I don't have the pecuniary interest in the industry which you do.
Recently, I asked (http://danielleftv.com/forum/showpost.php?p=38087) you What education did you have for your current vocation?, partly as a prologue to pointing you at some educational material. This week, I was surprised and delighted to discover how much interesting material the AVN wesbite (http://business.avn.com) publishes - not just rehashed press releases, as I had cynically expected, but lots of in-depth stuff as well. I hope you have been reading their news feed for a long time, but if not, I would encourage you to start doing so.
One AVN item which caugt my eye was Inaugural Camming Con Moves Dates to July 31-August 3 (http://business.avn.com/articles/technology/Inaugural-Camming-Con-Moves-Dates-to-July-31-August-3-557437.html) which alleges that it is the first trade show of its kind. I have no idea if the cost of going to this event would prove worthwhile to you, but I thought you deserved a heads up anyway, giving the professional plans you told us about. There is no little irony in having a physical convention to address the supposed needs of an industry based on virtual meetings, but the announced secondary goal of the event is to let fans and models meet IRL.
Apropos of e-space vs meatspace, a few months ago I had naively lamented (http://danielleftv.com/forum/showpost.php?p=37863) By the time your generation reaches middle age and starts to control things, I'm sure we'll live in a thoroughly virtualized world where physical location won't count for much in your business.. But for now, I'm not sanguine the porn kingpins socialize via LinkedIn or cast via Skype. But the AVN article Crowdsourcing Column: Mainstream vs. Adult - How different are they, really? (http://business.avn.com/articles/technology/Crowdsourcing-Column-Mainstream-vs-Adult-553023.html) implies my anxieties were misplaced. It quotes Colin of TranslationsXXX so: In mainstream almost everyone wants to do business face to face or over the telephone, while in adult email, Skype and ICQ are often preferred.
Again, let me say I am delighted with your recent initial foray into CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) via webcam software. I think such stuff can only grow in importance throughout the entertainment field as the years pass - which is the premise of that EnterTech certificate at ASU I have mentioned more than once. And in any case, your web site upkeep has already kept your finger at least a little in the technology pie for some years now. So I hope you will also pay no little attention to the AVN Technology and Webmaster (http://business.avn.com/articles/technology/) news feed.
Please take note of the remarkable range of world-class Free and Open-Source Software (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_and_open-source_software) available to you for the asking. I'm NOT talking about pirated commercial software, an analog to something that plagues your industry, but something ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. For a generation now, this category of software has been designed, debugged and supported by volunteer cooperatives spanning the globe and linked via the Internet. Their motive has been a combination of unmet personal needs, ego, professional reputation building and philanthropy. They have produced remarkable tools, the equals, or sometimes, superiors of similar commercial for-profit software. Want an example? The Linux operating system, which all of Google's millions of search engine computers have always run since the day the company was founded. Google's Android, which as likely as not, runs on your smartphone or tablet, is in fact a Google derivative of Linux. It is free to all takers, as long as they don't use the name in producing products based on it.
I hope the day never comes that you still want to star in porn but cannot. But if next time (hopefully NEVER) that you "total" your car, your pretty face also becomes a permanent, irretrievable total loss, it would be good to know that you have a set of well-practiced non-trivial skills useful to a wide range of industries.

Hey Dani,
The other day I was showing someone your video logs. In one of them you complained about the need to constantly remove and replace cables when you used your TV set as a screen for your video game console. You can easily buy a cheap automatic switching box you only wire up once. Almost certainly you are switching between so-called HDMI cables. If so, you can use the three-way switching gadget ($6 with shipping) which Amazon sells here (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018DQYQ2/), pictured below. Believe me, your TV set will be grateful when you get it DPed this way!

Hey Dani,
I caught up with your videlogs, numbers 461-469, and I have some feedback to offer.
I don't know if it was an accident or not, but the use of a mirror behind you offers some interesting cinematic possibilities. Since they are so cheap, you could even use more mirrors yet, as long as you are careful to assure they won't break through a lateral impact or fall. Mirrors can even enhance the eroticism of a scene (cf. honeymoon suite design!)
Speaking of sexy, I am yet to see you take full advantage of your bare breasts by doing things like coloring (same/different) the areolas with lipstick, or using the areolas as irises while you draw pinched ovals around them to create giant mock eyes. Other ideas include using a very loosely-woven doily-style tablecloth as a shawl to play peek-a-boo or just donning one or two old-fashioned pasties to hide the "naughty" parts of your ample boobage, to protect our innocent eyes, oh my! Do they make a big enough helium balloon to loft your boob with a cord by its nipple? Even if not, you can pretend and simply allow the cord to extend beyond the top of the of frame; hanging the cord over a horizontal pipe, with a counterweight on its end, can complete the illusion of a balloon. Might it even start to loft you away whole at the end of the video? Yes!
It seems like for the most part, you have found Isis something other to do than pester you during shoots. But someone told me that "other thing" is establishing a fanatical theocratic state in the Middle East. Can that possibly be true?
At this point, I'm sorry to wag my finger at you (I know you prefer hard dicks) - but I feel I must. The exposure problem in videolog 461 should not have perplexed you by now. Almost the first thing people learn in doing photography is that it is almost always a bad idea to shoot someone facing the camera while they take up a small part of the frame with much brighter light hitting their back than their front side. This is especially true when the camera is using automatic brightness control, because it cranks down the gain to bring the background into mid-range, making the front of the person too dark! It is common to light a subject with a triple of lights (front, back and key), but if you want to keep it simple, just make sure the subject is dominantly front lit - and not from below, unless you want to go for a "Halloween" effect! Of course, sometimes a bright rear light can produce a desired artistic effect - like an intentional silhouette (e.g. to prep for a reveal), or as seen below, collimated off-lens-axis to create a glorious halo.
http://www.enjoy-your-style.com/images/heart-of-glass.jpg
Do you know the pretty lady above? She's Debbie Harry, the singing front-woman of the legendary band Blondie, as she looked a third-century ago, during their glory days. I chose her for the example photo in my lighting mini-lecture above largely because of the way you answered the last question in videolog 467.
You don't have to be on "E" to sing I'm On E, which Debbie does in the music video seen here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMiIeu-oUSM). I believe this was from a performance on a German television program named Musikladen, circa 1977. Check out how her wardrobe and demeanor put a sexy spin on her frenetic performance: braless under a loose-fitting blouse, watch her shake those literal (non-biological) maracas, reminding us that her chest is definitely female!
If you're in a party mood, maybe you'd like to lipsync the music and mock her moves in a video shoot! You know, much of the time, owners of copyrighted music allow YouTube to host non-professional videos using their material, electing to use same as an ad, by linking to a download sale of the corresponding high-quality track.
DIY Venus de Milo, as seen in The Dreamers (2003)
Matte-black forearm-gloves and background "flocking" do the trick!

While it was cool to see that you shot this video log while editing one of the latest hardcore videos, the lighting problem would probably have dissolved by simply switching off the bright monitor behind you. :o

Hey Dani,
I hope you've had a chance to watch the UK-made multi-hour video history of porn that I sent, which you showed in your recent birthday present vlog. If you'd like a pointer to a text-based supplement to it, consider the long essay titled The History of Modern [1527-2009] Pornography here (http://www.pornographyhistory.com/).
With your professional involvement in *photographic* porn, especially motion pictures, I'd bring to your attention a relevant book titled Black and White and Blue: Adult Cinema from the Victorian Age to the VCR (2007). Amazon sells a Kindle version for $10, but let me point out that you could instead preview a copy at ASU Tempe. (They own both e-book and printed copies.) In many US states, residents have unpaid access to state university libraries, and perhaps that is also true in Arizona. I know in fact that the public library system in Tempe, like those in so many places, can arrange interlibrary loans for material they lack (MOST times without any user-paid fees.) Sure, these alternatives don't much matter for a book costing a lousy ten bucks, but others, like professional books, can run HUNDREDS. Use WorldCat at http://worldcat.org to query which libraries near you own copies of most "significant" books and other materials (about 2 billion items at over 10,000 libraries around the world).
Do also bookmark the wonderful, extensive, free, illustrated history of 20th century "mainstream" erotic cinema titled: Sex in the Movies: An Illustrated Cinematic History, here (http://www.filmsite.org/sexinfilms-index.html).
Over your short lifespan, there has been a real revolution in the acceptance and integration of erotic content in all sorts of everyday US contexts, like advertising, humor, music, etc. A 2008 book (written by a couple of English profs) on the history of US porn, which especially well explains these most recent changes, is The porning of America: the rise of porn culture... You cannot understand the sexual psychology which STILL dominates the minds of SO MANY older Americans (and folks in many other places, too) unless you appreciate the magnitude of the *recent* sea-change in sexual culture!

Hey Dani,
Whether or not you know the term, you do seem to understand the principle of the so-called Coolidge Effect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coolidge_effect) and the obvious fallout for a porn performer, especially in an age like ours, where the production and distribution of mediated performances is so inexpensive. Evidence of this includes occasional changes in your tattoos and hair color over time.
In the post above titled Vlogs 46x here (http://danielleftv.com/forum/showpost.php?p=38170&postcount=824), I encouraged you to intensify your efforts in combating the Coolidge Effect. Since writing it, I've come across some related matter you might find helpful, or at least inspiring. Obviously, one can only put so much effort into pedestrian video logs, so this stuff is basically directed toward enhancing your money-making hardcore sex videos.
I know you basically outsource the creation of things like costumes and accessories, but I still suspect it is useful to become better educated about such work, if only to become wiser about soliciting its thrifty CUSTOMIZED creation by fabricators. One helpful recent book is Costume Craftwork on a Budget: Clothing, 3-D Makeup, Wigs, Millinery & Accessories (Focal Press, 2007). I perused a copy and discovered detailed treatments of topics like these - life-casting (to help create personalized appliances, masks, etc.); transforming contemporary clothes into (historical, not menstrual!) period garments; making mock jewelry, pseudo-metallic armor/weapons, and headgear; producing mock animal parts like torsos, heads and even fangs; and so on. I suspect a non-fiction book like this would appeal to your sense of whimsy and romance - quite aside from its practical value in stagecraft!
You probably have access to the SyFy Channel through your Cox cable service. So perhaps you have already seen the 6-episode series of late 2013 titled Naked Vegas, about a "body-painting" firm of that name. I found it fascinating to watch as the artists of this firm used paint, adhesives, cloth, plastic, latex and all sorts of other things to fabricate world-class body art! Generally speaking, the art created is not erotic per se (one starts by using color-matched pasties to "remove" (or "Barbiefy") the nipples and venereal clefts of shaved female models), but it is not hard to believe SOME of the techniques they exploit are suitable for actresses in hard-core porn action.
Read an informative LV Review-Journal backgrounder here (http://www.reviewjournal.com/entertainment/more-painting-people-you-know-say-stars-naked-vegas) and then watch the 30-second trailer for the series here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DTaCNbR1vg4). If it interests you, one expects that Naked Vegas is available VoD from iTunes, Amazon, Hulu or whomever. (A closely related veteran SyFy series I have not seen is Face Off, look here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Face_Off_%28TV_series%29).) FYI, the six episodes of NV bore these titles:
Paint the Town, Red
Devil Pirates and Aliens
Penn & Teller Painted Magic
Painted Playmate Claire Sinclair
Cosplay and Steampunk
Jabbawockeez Masked in Color

Hey Dani,
I know you've been in the entertainment business for the better part of a decade now and it has brought you many rewards. But showbiz is ever less a predictable way to earn a living and one should never forgo learning about hard-to-access knowledge on how to succeed.
As someone outside of showbiz, I've been impressed by a free audio podcast series which might prove helpful to you in sustaining and expanding your career. It comes from Riki, the blonde one of the two partners who make up the edgy musical comedy team of Garfunkel and Oates, whose work I have linked to several times in your forum. Before G&O's stunning success all the way to the top of the iTunes comedy sales list, Riki began her LA career as an actress, which vocation she continues to follow with notable consistent (albeit low-profile) success. Each of her podcasts consists of an hour-long interview with a successful entertainment professional, during which she explores the ups and downs of their career with the explicit aim of discovering and publishing the secrets of success in today's showbiz industries.
Find Riki's wonderful podcasts on the page here (http://goo.gl/ahgeIK). I'd start by pointing you at the podcast with her G&O partner Kate here (http://goo.gl/emHCnx).
Perhaps one day they'll be a similar podcast series peculiar to the adult industry. Who knows? Maybe you'll be the one to conduct it! Until then, I think you'll be very impressed by what Riki's series has to offer, particularly if most of your intercourse with folks in your industry is of a commercial, and hence at least partially adverse-interest, nature. Why not give it a try?
Best wishes for future success.

Hey Dani,
In your video log d522.wmv you discussed how you get ideas for shoots, and brought up the notion of sticking a wooden egg inside yourself for Easter.
Because of your youth, I suspect you don't know that sticking a (chicken) egg inside herself and forcing it out was a stunt a woman undertook in a landmark film released a full dozen years before you were born! Let me tell you about it by quoting largely from a 2008 book of the famous sex film academic Linda Williams:
...as we have seen, American movies only tackled the representation of hard-core explicit sex within the genre of pornography. Moving-image pornography as practiced since the seventies has had the primary goal of arousing viewers through the maximum visibility of normally hidden organs and acts that often verge on the clinical, with aesthetic considerations secondary. The rule of maximum visibility did not mean that pornography outlawed all aesthetic concerns; nor did it mean, on the other side, that erotic art necessitated a corresponding lack of graphic content. Yet what we might call hard-core eroticism tempered graphic display with more subtle effects of line, color, light, and - in the performing art of film - subtleties of sexual performance that were much harder to achieve. In the end, moving-image pornography proved relatively easy to make and has flourished since the seventies in its own parallel universe in which art is not necessary (but can occasionally happen). In contrast, hard-core moving-image erotica proved difficult to make and did not flourish in this same time period...
One film of the 1970s, Oshima Nagisa's Japanese but French-produced In the Realm of the Senses (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_the_Realm_of_the_Senses) (1976), fully succeeded in combining hard-core sex with erotic art. As perhaps the only work of seventies international cinema to actually do what Anglo-American and European critics and directors had only dreamed of doing, this single film occupies the whole of chapter 5... Pornography or not, Oshima's film has garnered important critical discussion among Western critics who know a great deal about Japanese culture... great influence has perhaps only begun to become evident since the late nineties, when a critical mass of new hard-core art cinema from Europe, Asia, and even, finally, from America, emerged to demand critical attention...
[This sadomasochistic-themed film] concerns the amour fou of a wealthy Japanese merchant, Kichi, and his woman servant, Sada... The film's reception in the West was influenced by the knowledge that it was based on a true story, already well known to the Japanese public, that had already served as the basis for another feature made the previous year.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were interested in viewing the film, given the subject matter and its importance. No doubt the Internet holds at least one copy of an English subtitles file (e.g. .srt) It seems that Hulu makes a version of the film (Is it cut at all?) available online here (http://www.hulu.com/watch/243352).
Further, since you are such a bookworm, perhaps you might like to read the aforementioned chapter 5, and the other commentary on sex films in that book and others. To this end, I'm listing a couple of handfuls of such books below, in publication date order. Note that the majority of these titles are published by university presses.
[I]Hard Core - Power, Pleasure, and the Frenzy of the Visible [by Linda Williams] (U California, 1989)
Porn Studies [ed by Linda Williams] (Duke U, 2004)

Hey Dani,
In your video log d522.wmv you discussed how you get ideas for shoots, and brought up the notion of sticking a wooden egg inside yourself for Easter.
I definitely did not know that. I learn the most interesting things from you.

Hey Dani,
I know you've been in the entertainment business for the better part of a decade now and it has brought you many rewards.

A podcast could be an interesting idea. I'm not really sure what I would talk about though since I already discuss so much on my video logs. If I were to make podcasts it would have to wait until the braces came off.

Hey Dani,
Whether or not you know the term, you do seem to understand the principle of the so-called Coolidge Effect (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coolidge_effect) and the obvious fallout for a porn performer, especially in an age like ours, where the production and distribution of mediated performances is so inexpensive.
What's funny is I've watched a few episodes of SyFy's FaceOff (my mom and brother love that show and watch it together on a fairly regular basis). It sounds similar to what you've written about.

While it was cool to see that you shot this video log while editing one of the latest hardcore videos, the lighting problem would probably have dissolved by simply switching off the bright monitor behind you. :o
And you're very, very welcome. I get a huge kick out of seeing your reaction to my gifts. :)
Oops...my monitor is almost always on when I'm shooting video logs. I'll have to keep that in mind for next time.

Several of the things you have written and videoed in recent postings lead me to suggest the following. It seems you were less than enthusiastic about the Halloween costume party expedition to Las Vegas with your girlfriendS (you did not say how many they were, if any, more than two). What if next time you guys wanted an adventure together, you thought about foregoing the total costs of travel, lodging, and other expenses, like travel time, and pooled your funds to finance a special party in Phoenix?
In Las Vegas, there are zillions of dollars invested in architecture and the like to let you imagine you are in some foreign country, like France, or a historical era, like that of Ancient Rome. While you obviously can't match the grandeur of such an operation, what if you instead enjoyed authenticity, by engaging a foreign students organization at ASU to throw a party celebrating their culture's past or present, with appropriate food, music, costume, decoration, or theatrics (included recorded ones)?
The web page here (https://students.asu.edu/print/15645) lists the following EXISTING clubs at ASU:
Coalition of International Students
Chinese Students and Scholars Association
Fulbright International Student Association at ASU
Indian Students Association
Iranian Students Association
Kazakhstan Student Association
Korean Students Association
Saudi Students Club
Singapore Student Association
PERMIAS - Indonesian Student Association
Philippine American Student Association
Qatari Student Association
Taiwanese Student Association
The Kuwaiti Club ASU
Turkish Student Association
Some of these groups take pains to explicitly say they welcome participation by everyone.
By the way, if I have to say this, not infrequently students will study outside their native countries to ESCAPE their families, native culture, legal or political circumstances, and some might even be more inclined to satirize (or just forget) things back home than celebrate them!
The existing organizations listed above do not exhaust the variety of nationalities which ASU tries to attract, one imagines with at least partial success. The page here (https://students.asu.edu/international) indicates that ASU admission information is available in all of the following languages:
Portuguese (think Brazil)
Spanish (think most of Latin America)
Thai
Indonesian
Vietnamese
Japanese
Korean
Mandarin
Turkish
Holding the party on campus might be a way to stretch the party budget because of access to cheap or free meeting space. And it would be a way to make it easy for students without cars to attend or even serve to earn a couple bucks. I know Phoenix is not New York or Paris, but as a major metropolis, I'm sure there are at least some ethnic restaurants (and maybe even grocers) to help make things go.
Such a party would also be a way to meet other students (maybe even those who would inspire you by their example or even their friendship to persevere in your studies through the term and the years to come.) And who knows? Perhaps you'd even get to meet some nice boys there - foreign or American.
Finally, by making authentic contact with foreign cultures, you might be in a better position to stage interesting settings for your video productions - and maybe even generate bait which helps you land more foreign customers. Not every foreign culture is as porn-friendly as the USA, but in some cases that just means potential fans there are all the more hungry for such fare. And on the other hand, I'd argue that a country like Japan is even MORE porn-friendly than the States.
As a typical Millennial Generation Sailor Moon fan, you probably know that in Japan, adults as well as children are interested in things like drawn cartoon books ("manga") and animated versions ("anime"). But the popular adult fare there has no popular parallel in the United States. As an example, consider the animated series Ah, My Buddha! ("Amaenaide yo!"). Wikipedia writes of it: The show was broadcast in Japan with an R-15 rating, which is the Japanese equivalent of a 'Restricted' rating... The protagonist of the series is [a 16-year-old] monk-in-training... who transforms into a super-monk with the ability to perform mass exorcisms... He lives in a temple run by his grandma along with six teenage nuns-in-training. And how does he transform when needed? Simple! One or more of the nuns sexually arose him by doing something like flashing him, LOL! And afterwards, the ungrateful be-atches usually kick the $hit out of him for getting horny in the first place. And you thought Sookie and her friends cornered the market on odd supernatural sexcapades!
You could watch a typical (half-hour) episode of Ah, My Buddha!, dubbed into English, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-MwruXraCw), but instead, I'd advise you to invest your limited time in viewing the three documentary videos I will now mention.
Learn quickly about Japan's sexual heritage and culture via a largely-English-audio 14-minute clip from a year 2000 BBC-Japanese co-production here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sUGY5UIG28c). (Or avoid the login, at the disadvantage of Vietnamese captions which overwrite the English ones, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXoMUfdK7iY).)
Then, if you have an hour to spare, I'd have you watch two half-hour episodes from Japanorama, a fast-moving, fun-loving three-season documentary series on contemporary Japanese culture produced by the BBC in the previous calendar decade. Alas, it will be another year until the BBC starts to sell its back-catalog of programming in the US via Internet video on demand. Until then, you can cheat by viewing these two programs at the following places online.
First watch the season 1, episode 3 program, titled Sex, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kxB_0rzNq0).
Then watch the season 3, episode 2 program, titled Ai and Koi (Love and Romance), here (http://www.veoh.com/watch/v1127205EdpjKMxE).
And to beat a dead horse, Chroma-Key is a great way to enjoy an exotic, even foreign, set without busting the production budget.

Hey Dani,
Getting back to the issue of lame and faithless Halloween costumes, it just struck me that Game of Thrones provides a treasure-trove of creative ideas for horrific and identifiable Halloween characters and costumes! Sure enough, some quick Googling proves this has been a popular idea for some time now.
If this struck your fancy, I know you would be stormborn-tempted to go all Queen of Meereen on us - not the least because of the name and golden locks. But LB & Isis look silly in wings - and Isis would rather to play down the violence vibe in her life, given what her namesake does in the Mideast these days.
So I'd like to suggest you instead consider the path less taken, engaging your sword fetish for a tour of duty as Brienne of Tarth!
Finally, with soooo many characters in GoT, surely any of your fellow macabre merry-makers would have a wide range of characters from which to choose. And besides, how hard is it to stick a few fake knives into one's ketchup-bloodied gut and make like a Red Wedding non-survivor? Sheesh!

Hey Dani,
I recently caught up with the recent months of your video logs, save the last four (617-620).
First, let me thank you for heeding my simple advice about lighting. I see you now hang an opaque cloth behind you, and provide task-specific lighting from the front. I'd like three-point lighting and a ChromaKey background even better, but what you are doing is fine. One suggestion: don't wear glasses if you can help it, because glaring light reflections obliterate your pretty eyes!
Thank you for inviting us to limited preview of your renewed webcam work. Can I make a suggestion that might help pass the time when clients are taciturn or too few in number? Today when people say "porn," they tacitly expect you to imagine full-color, low-noise, video material - including even VR stuff. But once upon a time, porn almost exclusively consisted of verbal stories, like "naughty" novels; Lady Chatterly was among the first. Be careful about straining your voice (keep a drink at hand), but consider reading "dirty" stories during your Webcam shows to fill any awkward lulls in the action - and maybe even turn on the clientele. (Given your aversion to video relative to reading, I'd be surprised if the thought never crossed your mind at all!) If you have any aspiration to do "straight" acting or even voice-over work, it would be good practice, too.
I've always felt that one can benefit by knowledge of one's craft and industry, and to this end I'd like to suggest you review three germane video titles about which you may not know. They allow you to glimpse the changing industry over the decades, with the aspiration that the exercise may help you have realistic ideas about the future.
1. Behind the Scenes of an Adult Movie (1984) 100 minutes [IAFD link (http://www.iafd.com/title.rme/title=Behind+the+Scenes+of+an+Adult+Movie/year=1984/behind-the-scenes-of-an-adult-movie.htm)]
From the last years of the celluloid era. It's title says it all. This film was a Best Classic Release nominee at the 2010 AVN Awards. Best of all, you get to see someone named "Danielle" performing with your "boyfriend," Ron Jeremy! (Maybe I never should have shown you that YouTube comedy piece about women who love porn, which leverages Jeremy's biologically inevitable declining appeal as he reaches his last years; I think the guy was decent-looking in his youth, if you go for the Mediterranean type.)
2. How They Make Adult Movies (1997) 54 minutes [IMDb link (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0156615/)] [MDiD link (www.myduckisdead.org/2015/12/how-they-make-adult-movies-1997.html)]
From the height of the videotape era. Again, a very descriptive title.
3. Jade - Why I Chose Porn - BBC Three (2016) 39 minutes [YouTube copy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fQaguGQoEc)]
The story of a slightly younger British colleague of yours in today's Internet-centric world. (The BBC screwed around for several years, trying to make its content available world-wide for a fee, but evidently they are not as competent as you and the FTV guys, sigh!)
Given the subject of this post, I've decided to integrate the revision of a related post about a book immediately below, and delete the original copy.
==================
We all know you are a bookworm, so I want to commend to your attention a significant new book JUST (2016) published by Britain's Oxford University Press, titled The Pornography Industry: What Everyone Needs to Know. (I think it's a real steal at US$17.)
https://global.oup.com/academic/covers/pdp/9780190205126
Having quickly read the book, I think it lives up to the promotional review blurbs the publisher provides online here (https://global.oup.com/academic/product/the-pornography-industry-9780190205126?cc=us&lang=en&#). Given its (book) format, one is especially impressed how it stays up-to-date with last-minute developments!
I really think everyone in your business should make time to read a serious book like this. *SIGH* - if only such books had been available to me when I was your age and looking to enter, and prosper in, a particular field of work!
If you do read this book, it would be interesting to hear your thoughts about it in a vlog. And because it includes a history of the industry, it might even give you some product ideas.
Best always,

Hey Dani,
In a recent vlog you expressed the ambition to start watching Game of Thrones from HBO, as you are a fan of the book series. The show has amazing production values, like that of a feature film, including very realistic-looking CGI dragons which interact with the human cast. As I recall, each hour-long show, which leverages a cast of about 200 and a crew of roughly 800 others, not to mention the extras sometimes used, has a budget of about US$10 million!
Starting with the third season of the six exhibited so far, the Funny Or Die web site has been producing a short video synopsis for each weekly show, all of which you can find online here (http://www.funnyordie.com/gayofthrones). Called Gay of Thrones, these hilarious reviews star Jonathan, the swishiest West Hollywood hairdresser you will ever meet, who leverages one's knowledge of popular culture to help keep track of the enormous cast of characters, as he recounts the latest episode to a (quasi-)celebrity customer on whom he is working. Why not spare three minutes now and pick any of these shorts to be sold on the concept - and the HBO series as well!

Yeeeaaaahhhhhh....I usually start my day either wearing contacts or glasses. I'm not going to put in a set of contacts just for my video logs. Besides people like variety and some people are fans of glasses. The vlogs are meant to be casual. The lighting may be off in the vlogs I shoot in my office but I think the vast majority are okay with that. While I appreciate your advice I'm not going to set up three point lighting or a Chromakey. That purple opaque curtain is something that has been in my office (essentially hiding my shoe racks) for at least two years now. It wasn't put up for the vlogs.
As far as the reading erotic stories goes....I absolutely hate reading out loud. The only time I will really read a story out loud is when I'm reading my nephew a bed time story.

Hey Dani,
I know you've always loved butterflies, which is probably why your grandma gave you the large, century-old painting you so love, which on naive inspection features one such critter. But what you fail to realize is that a conventional butterfly is not sitting on a woman's back. Instead, what the viewer sees is a chimera (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chimera_(mythology))!
In particular, this is a representation of the mythical ancient Greek heroine Psyche, wife of the god Eros/Cupid, he the son of Aphrodite/Venus, the goddess of (sexual) love.
In times gone by, such as America long ago, these now-quaint myths not only provided entertaining stories and pretty images, but also a way to discuss - and even celebrate - once-tabu subjects like sex.
The legend of Psyche and Eros was left to us within a 2nd C work called Metamorphoses (or The Golden A$$), the only novel to survive whole from Latin-speaking ancient Rome. (This novel is often sexually explicit, and inspired a wonderful modern derivative erotic graphic novel by the artist Manara, also called The Golden A$$, cf. here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/1594650578).)
Through the ages, Psyche and Eros have been the subject of many stories, plays, paintings, statues, etc. The Wikipedia synopsis is here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cupid_and_Psyche#Story). This complex tale and its rich symbolism plausibly provide inspiration for many significant details of much younger stories like Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. My favorite telling is Alison de Vere's 1994 wordless musical animated film, Psyche and Eros, illustrated here (http://ukanimation.blogspot.com/2011/08/alison-de-veres-psyche-and-eros.html). It was shown on Britain's Channel Four, but I've no idea where to buy a copy. In recent years, a pirated copy sits here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GON5ReiM_U).
My personal favorite painting of a solitary Psyche is Guillaume Seignac's 1904 Le Reveil de Psyche (in English, The Awakening of Psyche), a contemporary to your own painting. Here it is:
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1158&stc=1&d=1485033722
My personal favorite painting of Psyche with Eros is William Adolphe Bouguereau's 1889 Psyche et L'Amour, shown just below. The museum owning it publishes a video discussing it here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCGMnm-lBe0).
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1159&stc=1&d=1485034152
Let's now examine some of the story's symbolism. While both Eros and Psyche have wings, her wings are, UNlike his, not the traditional bird wings of various mythological chimeras (e.g. the sphinx), but uniquely those of the butterfly. This is because they represent the inner labia, which they so resemble, just as Eros' penetrating arrows represent the penis. (For more about female genitals and the butterfly, cf. e.g. RFSU's 2012 animated sex ed film Sex on the Map here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T-XAR8PIqbs).)
According to Freud, the couple's depiction in flight represents coitus. And long before Freud, the German euphemism voegln (in English, birding) meant coitus as well. Even the word we use for orgasm, climax, reflects ascension skyward: it comes from the Greek word for ladder.
This psychological association between flying and f*cking seems to transcend era and nationality; long before you were born, US TV was packed with National Airline ads in which pretty young female flight attendants stared into your eyes, admonishing you to "Fly me!" Find an example here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XawRcZWgBPw). That you not miss their subliminal meaning, eventually ads would include copy like "I'm gonna fly you like you've never been flown before!" Competitors would rise to the challenge with their own salacious innuendos; Air France ads would ask: "Have you ever done it the French way?" I'm sure your elders have vivid memories of such advertising!
Perhaps the ultimate celebration of the connection between flying and f*cking was a segment of the 1979 Bob Fosse biopic All That Jazz, in which we were invited to board a plane operated by "Airotica." Watch this unforgettable musical performance here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rv4IvjaC78). By the time it is over, a healthy man watching this will find his "gear" secured in the upright and locked position!
Since you probably associate Psyche's hubby Eros (i.e. Cupid) with Valentine's Day, through which romantic love is celebrated, let me comment on its symbolism as well. The icon of the day is a highly stylized graphic we call a "heart" into which Cupid ejaculates his bow-launched arrows. But as any anatomist could tell you, this symbolic "heart" looks NOTHING like a real human heart, but instead like the butterfly-shaped thing below! So don't ask why Eros appears without Psyche in today's Valentine's Day artwork - she's there after all.
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1160&stc=1&d=1485034048
Given that it won't do in many places today to call the Valentine's Day symbol a c@nt, why has the euphemism of the heart been chosen for it? Observe that emotional agitation (e.g. as experienced during coitus) is accompanied by increased heart rate and blood pressure, making us aware of the existence of an organ we normally ignore - the heart. Note the close visual resemblance between the stylized heart symbol and the vulva was exploited in the trailer for a film called Heart Throbs (IAFD entry here (http://www.iafd.com/title.rme/title=Heart+Throbs/year=1985/heart-throbs.htm)), as illustrated here (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzbkD7gNhITublN3ZFVfaUthRHc). By the way, the current Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heart_(symbol)) on the heart symbol claims it never represented what it does today before the 14th century.
Now let me digress for a paragraph and speculate about a famous euphemistic phrase refering to the mechanics of human reproduction: the birds and the bees. No definitive explanation (http://english.stackexchange.com/questions/316256/birds-and-bees-origins/316267) has appeared for its origin, although you often read (http://publicdomainreview.org/2015/08/19/when-the-birds-and-the-bees-were-not-enough-aristotles-masterpiece/) that the 1825 writing of Samuel Taylor Coleridge has the honor. Whatever the truth, I'd like to observe that its underlying psychology curiously reflects matters including human genital anatomy. A small bird looks somewhat like male genitals in size and shape, especially if its neck it long. And the bee, in resembling the butterfly, looks somewhat like female genitals in size and shape. And of course, both birds and bees take flight, which reprises the discussion of flight as a symbol for coitus!
Returning to the matter of Valentine's Day, this Christian saint's festival falls on the day when the pre-Christian Romans had a fertility celebration called Lupercalia, which you see portrayed early in Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar. Men would run (nearly?) naked through the streets and strike women who wanted to bear children or enjoy easier deliveries with straps of animal skin, which "magic" rather obviously symbolized fertilization. (Note our word "f*cking" or the German word "ficken" are cognates of the German word "flicken", meaning "to strike.")
Spring-time fertility festivals are widespread, albeit often sublimated from their aboriginal forms, especially in places where highly sex-phobic religions like Christianity have now dominated for centuries. One example, which marginally resembles Lupercalia, still takes place in rural Hungary during Easter, where, in public, men "come" on the bodies of young women using water (or sometimes perfume), as shown in the video here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTBbvYfOh4Y). The linked video idly claims it is "more innocent than a wet teeshirt contest" - YEAH, my CUM-SWOLLEN BALLS it is, LOL! Sometimes this custom is called "Ducking Monday", as Easter Monday is the likeliest day on which it takes place; I guess that's more polite than calling it "F*cking Monday"!
Extra-vaginal ejaculation onto one's beloved is the subject of a well-known song from 1984, Pretty Mess by Vanity. As I write, you can find its official music video more or less intact here (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xie0sn_vanity-pretty-mess_music). The song lyrics are published here (https://www.musixmatch.com/lyrics/Vanity/Pretty-Mess). Those who have trouble discerning the sexual symbolism of the visuals or the lyrics can read the explanatory song review here (http://www.backofthecerealbox.com/2010/07/pretty-mess-is-filthy-song-for.html), evidently penned by someone who finds songs of this type culturally dirty.
Perhaps you are surprised to see Eros/Cupid portrayed as a sexually mature adult in the painting above, rather than as an infant, which representation was my own consistent experience until middle age. The ancients did not always depict Eros/Cupid as an infant with a bow and quiver. Another common form showed a young adult riding a dolphin, a rather phallic symbol itself, such as in the pair of mosaics shown below, preserved in the house of Amphitrite in what was in ancient times Bulla Regia, in today's Tunisia.

That's not to say it ever was uncommon to show Eros/Cupid as an infant. But it seems that modern fine artists have instead favored portraying him as a post-infancy pre-pubescent, as in the four examples which follow.
First are a pair of curious images of Psyche and Eros, in which Psyche appears without her traditional characteristic butterfly wings.
Here is Joseph Berger's Psyche Et Cupidon, circa 1840 (+-20 years):
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1162&stc=1&d=1485037714
and then here is Pompeo Girolamo Baton's 1756 Marriage of Cupid and Psyche:
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1163&stc=1&d=1485037714
I know that some people might be wondering what a woman Psyche's age is doing banging a younger guy like Eros, so I'll point out that it's okay since we see they first got married! ;-P
For those who are not placated by this, I'll now offer a pair of paintings in which Eros appears with a Psyche whom no one would call age-inappropriate! ;-P
First up is the work of a woman painter from the pre-feminist ages, Angelika Kauffmann, whose 1795 Bildnis der Geschwister Plymouth als Amor und Psyche appears directly below:
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1164&stc=1&d=1485037714
I hope it won't disturb too many people when I offer an English translation of the title: Painting of the Plymouth siblings as Amor [i.e. Eros] and Psyche. But Dani, perhaps you might think twice about showing this picture to your brother, lest he wonder if you are making a funny suggestion! ;-P
So, for the sake of those who think "family togetherness" can sometimes be too much of a good thing, I will offer a final image where it is not an issue. Below is another work by William Adolphe Bouguereau, his 1889 L'Amour et Psyche, Enfants, in English Amour [i.e. Eros] and Psyche, children:
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1165&stc=1&d=1485037714
If you want to look at even more historical paintings and statues of Psyche and Eros, consult the large index on the page here (http://comminfo.rutgers.edu/~mjoseph/CP/ICP.html).
And don't miss Psyche's career as a 20th century advertising spokesperson in the illustrated essay titled Oddball Ad Campaigns of the 1940s: White Rock's Topless Tinkerbell here (http://todaysinspiration.blogspot.com/2011/03/oddball-ad-campaigns-of-1940s-white.html).
This item reminds us that Tinkerbell, today the mascot for Disney, is basically a great grand-daughter of Psyche! But don't be shocked that Disney would so conspicuously use a symbol intimately tied to a demi-goddess of erotic love! That's because Tinkerbell herself originates as a character in Peter Pan - which the naive might see as a simple childhood tale, but which can easily be read as erotically charged, with only a bit of detective work. I don't have time to do that now, so in the following post (in which the CMS will let me embed additional images), I will offer a brief tease for now.

So why does one claim that Peter Pan contains an erotic undercurrent?
First, there is the name of the story. The demi-god Pan was the most infamous horn-dog of antiquity, whose reputation is aptly represented by a celebrated statue (https://www.theguardian.com/culture/2013/mar/23/pan-sculpture-sex-and-romans) below of him screwing a female goat!
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1166&stc=1&d=1485039971
And by 1902, "peter" was attested (http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=peter) in print as a euphemism for the penis, predating the debut of the story a few years later. Thus, the dick of the lustiest playboy of antiquity's mythology is properly enough called "Pan's peter." Don't tell me that when J. M. Barrie chose the name "Peter Pan" he had no idea of these associations! [Eighteen months after I first made this post in January 2017, I learned that in the brothels of America's "Old West," the term "peter pan" was ALREADY in use to designate the wash basin in which a client's genitals were washed! For my enlightenment, thank an episode of a one-time (2003-05) History Channel serial titled Wild West Tech, a copy of which you can view as I write this here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mv94VEqLF0Y). This fact is also attested in the book Red Light Women of the Rocky Mountains (University of New Mexico Press, 2011) on the page here (https://books.google.com/books?id=n89L2_Z6misC&q=peter+pan#v=snippet&q=peter%20pan&f=false).]
Second, Barrie (born 1860) was raised in the small Scottish village where a legendary orgy took place in the 1880s, which is remembered in a bawdy classic song called The Ball Of Kerrymuir. A cleaned-up version of it is sung by Jim Croce here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5ky7Fs6ng0), and an unexpurgated version is sung in a heavy Scots dialect by Kenneth McKellar here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y64uWjtSKAo). A summary of its numerous variant naughty verses can be found here (http://www.turoks.net/Bordello/TheBallOfKirriemuir.php).
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1168&stc=1&d=1485041653
Finally, the story of Peter Pan itself contains several very telling symbols and puns which time does not permit me to share with you now. Maybe later, if you are good! ;-)

Yep, I recently found this out and now feel like a dork for mispronouncing it. Though, listen to the way most Americans pronounce Worcestershire. You want to talk about butchering the pronunciation of a word lol.

Hey Dani,
I just watched video log 713, wherein you reply to Anoree's questions about the future of the adult film industry.
While I have encouraged you to look into Virtual Reality and related technologies by visiting a Phoenix arcade, I suspect it is still too early for you to try launching into anything like full-scale VR production. I think arcades will help acquaint more people with the experience and lead to increased deployment and the evolution of gear which keeps getting more standardized, inexpensive and capable.
But that's not to say that doing experiments is prohibitively expensive any more, as was the case a decade ago! Spend a few minutes to see what one can accomplish with the Ricoh Theta S, a "360-degree" video camera which TODAY only costs about $250, Amazon page here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014US3FQI), by watching the OLD review here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Hx4qcQ7xrA&t=1m50s).
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1182&stc=1&d=1520469470
Eager to promote VR and related technologies, both Facebook and Youtube host the sort of video produced by cameras like these for free. You could shoot a free promotional video and post it on Youtube for signed-in "adult" users to enjoy, soliciting feedback. And if the results were good, you might even start a for-profit "side hustle" shooting similar matter for your fellow metro-Phoenix adult film talent!
As to the question of what to do about media piracy, there is no simple answer. First, appreciate that it is not a problem peculiar to porn. ALMOST ANY information product is subject to the same abuse: other types of films, books, software, and most famously of all, music.
Video games are an exception for a couple special reasons:
(1) Although distribution media naively appear to be conventional optical disks, they are NOT, being incompatible media which proprietary game consoles alone can easily read.
(2) Multiplayer online games ADDITIONALLY require the coordination of a chaperoned server, which makes the end-user software useless absent a paid subscription to such a server.
One book which tries to intelligently discuss how commercial artists of all sorts can try to cope with a post-Napster world in which piracy is unavoidable is Information Doesn't Want to Be Free: Laws for the Internet Age, Amazon page here.
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1181&stc=1&d=1520468886
You will recall that I have continued to encourage you to leverage and embellish your film-making skills to enable yourself to enjoy a vocation that cannot be attacked by piracy, such as making sex tapes for private couples. And as a video production professional, there's no reason you couldn't venture into things like making videos which advertise firms, or instruct in the use of products and services - which are paid for by clients who would like nothing better than for them to be reproduced and distributed wthout limit.
As to creating adult films with better production values and deeper emotional depth, to make stories which escape the fungability of austere porn (which aesthetically resembles action stunt matter) - the world seems to be there already! Four decades ago the late porn pioneer Gerard Damiano said the day would come that adult films and conventional films would approach one another in content, creating the all-but-seamless continuum we enjoy today. For example, consider the STARZ cable-TV serial "The Girlfriend Experience," inspired by the Sasha Grey film of the same name. In season two, one of the episodes clearly shows, on a smartphone video screen, a woman fellating what looks to be indistinguishable from a man's penis.
Now, that's not to say that cable TV episodes escape piracy any more than the type of stuff you produce, but at least for now, the convenience of a cable subscription provides enough incentive for enough people not to seek it out to save a few bucks a month, that the business remains sustainable.
As always, you have my best wishes for success in our rough-and-tumble Brave New World. Please continuously make serious long-term savings against the uncertainties everyone will face, and need overcome, in the future.

Hello Dani,
I am wont to let several months pass between the times I binge-watch your new video logs, so forgive me if I raise old issues about which you may have even forgotten. I had been editing the following material on and off over several months. Now, having just seen your video log 714 (which addresses disparagement of sex workers), I've decided to get off my butt and finally publish it here!
I was sad, but not surprised, to hear your report about being harassed on Twitter. Almost everyone even slightly in the public eye has been subject to that sort of thing, whatever occupational career they pursue. The New York Times article here (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/20/technology/evan-williams-medium-twitter-internet.html) about Twitter co-founder Evan Williams reports: "Four out of 10 [ordinary!] adult internet users said in a Pew survey that they had been harassed online." It quotes Williams as saying "I thought once everybody could speak freely and exchange information and ideas, the world is automatically going to be a better place... I was wrong about that... I think the internet is broken..."
Let me elaborate concerning the additional factor of your career as a porn player.
I remind you that you've made money by doing stuff like Public Humiliation. The key question today is: Where does Danielle the porn player end, and you, the real-life person you are, begin? Why should you be suprised that clients might reach you by Twitter to verbally abuse you in ways which are much less transgressive that what happens to you in video products? If you can play a role, why can't they?
Further, I caution you there are sick people who can't separate fantasy and reality. It only takes one such person to come close to ending your life, as sadomasichistic porn veteran Sharon Mitchell discovered one horrible day in the late 1990s! I strongly encourage you to explore the issue I raise by watching the 2017 Lifetime television "biopic" of Duke University student and porn star Belle Knox titled From Straight A's to XXX. (Alas, as I write this, I can't find a legitimate source for it, e.g. Amazon or NetFlix.)
Should you want to continue exploiting Twitter, there are ready methods to protect your feelings. Most celebrities never reply to non-celebrities who post on their feed, denying any provacateur the satisfaction of seeing any of their irritation succeed. In the end, no one knows if celebrities only post, and leave any reading of responses to a personal assistant (PA), if anyone at all. And those with thick skins sometimes pose as their own PA if they elect to occasionally respond to someone making a post, as there is no practical problem if a person wants to use multiple Twitter accounts. And finally, Twitter provides limited faclities to censor irritating posters.
In the two posts which will follow, I'll address two particular provocations you decided to detail in a vlog last year.

First, insults leveled at your voluptuous figure.
What people find sexually attractive variously ENORMOUSLY between eras, societies, and individuals within a particular society of a particular era as well. Your type of figure often set the standard of beauty before the Industrial Revolution, likely because it meant that you were well fed, unlike so very many poor souls, the vast majority of which literally knew starvation every generation. The classical examples are the beauties of the celebrated Flemish artist Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640), such as portrayed in the work below, The Judgment of Paris.
Aside: This painting also appears in a wonderful textbook titled Discovering Human Sexuality, 3rd ed (Sinauer, 2015), Amazon page here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/1605352756), which I'd heartily recommend for your study, based on my cursory perusal. Among other things, it includes a revealing photo of your would-be friend, the birth-gifted DoubleDickDude!
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1183&stc=1&d=1520479227
And according to one layman, quoted in The Atlantic issue of Dec 13, 2011, curvy was also the rage in the (much more recent) Victorian times:
Bob Fitzpatrick, a finance student at the University of Michigan [says] 'Back in the Victorian age, it was sexy to be really pale because it meant you didn't work in the fields,' he says. 'Or it was sexy to be fat because it meant you could afford to eat lots of meals.'Further, please note that even today, it can be very helpful for an adult film player to stay very far away from anorexia. Just listen to the words of wisdom from your often-funny sometime-pal, the full-figured Ron Jeremy, here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzbkD7gNhITuakh3ajBsczVNdEk/view).
If you are willing to look further afield, to cultures from which very few if any Americans reckon their descent, you can find all types of physicality embraced as erotic, as evidenced by the carefully researched new book Sex Rules! Astonishing Sexual Practices and Gender Roles Around the World (Mango, 2017), Amazon page here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06WW2QX97). In part, it writes:Somewhere in this world you’re a perfect 10... Whatever your looks, you are a fabulous beauty… You just need to be in the right place... Thick, fat calves? Adorable, according to the Tiv of Nigeria... Rotund body with big buttocks and large, round legs? The Baganda of Uganda will lust after you... Huge, protruding rear end? Makes you stunning, say the Khoikhoi of southern Africa—the bigger your butt, the more alluring... Bulbous stomach and big hips? You’re the pin-up girl for the South Pacific Mangaia Island. All this BBW love reminds me of a song from a record-breaking off-Broadway musical which began playing over a dozen years before your birth, titled Let My People Come. It is sung by a chubby girl who aspires to be the peer of the leading female porn stars of her day: Linda Lovelace (star of Deep Throat), Marilyn Chambers and Georgina Spelvin. Give it a listen here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fiwk268ycFA&t=0s&index=6&list=PLVYyCEvb2vhF1fKA2zGlugx_U3Pfm6g-4) and smile!

Now, second, onto attempts to use the word "whore" to insult you and your work.
The word "whore" originally simply meant a woman who practiced free love, without any implication of material compensation:
The Germanic terms hore/hure/whore and whoredom are well known from ecclesiastical legislation and theology, but they had no clear direct reference to paid sex. On the contrary, they referred to all kinds of extramarital sex, independent of whether one earned money from it. A whore normally would be not a prostitute but a loose woman. - Chapter 10, Love For Sale: A World History of Prostitution (see below)
In that double-standard world, men who behaved exactly the same way would be celebrated as a "Don Juan" or a "Casanova." Is that sensible or just? Also observe that starting with the Baby Boom generation, the number of lifetime sex partners the average ordinary American engages has exploded, multiplying about a dozen-fold. Damn near "all" of us are now "whores"! Indeed, the book The Porning of America (Beacon, 2008), Amazon page here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001M0MLTU), argues that in this century, porn stars have become more like lay (snicker!) people, and lay people more like porn stars. But sadly, this is not the case when it comes to STIs. The increased promiscuity of people today has created an STI crisis, EXCEPT when exclusive resort is made to tested and sequestered brothel prostitutes, or the regularly tested members of the adult film profession, such as yourself. Listen to what a contemporary USA physician says here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzbkD7gNhITubmpzRVRYVHMydE0/view?usp=sharing).
Prostitution, i.e. sex (especially coitus) in exchange for money, has always been illegal in Communist bloc and Muslim nations. The United States is rather unusual, in that as a nation never so described, it has made prostitution per se illegal and untolerated almost everywhere - but ONLY in the last century or so. I suspect that this is related to the fact that today it is so anomolously religious for a First World nation. (Btw, it is little appreciated that USA church membership rates were enormously LOWER in its early history of independence.) Ironically however, the (Catholic) Church of the Middle Ages in Western Europe was in the very business of operating brothels, for the sake of obviating adultery by married women (but NOT their husbands), thereby protecting the "sanctity" of marriage.
Learn more about the history of prostitution in America here (https://www.alternet.org/news-amp-politics/when-prostitution-wasnt-crime-fascinating-history-sex-work-america).
Other good references on this occupation spanning many societies and ages are:
Encyclopedia of Prostitution and Sex Work (Greenwood, 2006), Amazon page here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/0313329680) &
Love For Sale: A World History of Prostitution (Grove, 2005), Amazon page here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/0802141846).
The bottom line is that whether someone tries to hurt your feelings by calling you either a whore or a harlot, I hope you now have ready emotional ammunition for blowing it off! I'll leave the final word on the matter to 12-year-old Violet, the protagonist of the famous 1978 English-language French-made film Pretty Baby, as portrayed by then-young Brooke Shields. Watch the clip here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzbkD7gNhITuMUJGaVFaUkVpRDQ/view?usp=sharing).
If you don't know this film, surely as a Bossier City baby you should want to see it, as it is set a century ago in the famous Storyville legal red-light district of Louisiana's Big Easy, the city of New Orleans. Note also the aformentioned encyclopedia has a couple of articles titled New Orleans and Storyville. By the way, at the time (1978) that Pretty Baby was made, many Americans were shocked at the idea of a 12-year-old hooker, because they had also forgotten how low the age of consent had been in centuries past, including that era.
Childhood and Sexuality: Contemporary Issues and Debates (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2017) states:When Hirschfeld made a survey of the age of consent in 50 countries at the start of the twentieth century, he found variances from 12 to 16. Whilst the necessity of an age of consent became accepted, the age itself was still subject to debate. For example, in Catholic countries the age was 12–13...
And The Age of Consent: Young People, Sexuality and Citizenship (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2005) states:
Colonial America adopted the form of statutory rape laws from English law... Cocca’s research reveals that the age of consent to sexual intercourse for girls was most commonly 10 in 1885, though 12 in some states.Btw, do you know the 2007 Cajun-style song Bossier City? Find a recording here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rphqii7xu38), and lyrics here (https://genius.com/Turnpike-troubadours-bossier-city-lyrics).
And what about the much-older 1974 C&W song Bossier City? Find a recording here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=81xJURwgejw), and lyrics here (https://genius.com/David-allan-coe-bossier-city-lyrics). Yeah, I recall you don't like C&W!

Hello Dani,
I'm sorry to hear that after all the sexual liberation we've enjoyed this century that your mom continues to cling to attitudes quite common when she was growing up concerning things like adult films, to the point that you report she is ashamed to reveal the nature of your work to her colleagues.
Even as I hope to make suggestions you can undertake to try modernizing her attitude, I also counsel that you try to show some understanding of where she's coming from. You probably cannot BEGIN to imagine how sex, much less sexual art, was denigrated as "dirty" and "shameful" during her childhood in America, whatever her social background. To start, consider these milestones:
Until 1952, film had NO First Amendment protection. States could, and did, prohibit the display not only of sexual matters, but also things like "blasphemy" - things that particular religions found insulting! So much for freedom of religion, as well as speech!
Until 1958, states could pass laws making photographic portrayal of ANY type of nudity criminal. That year, the courts ruled that "nude is not automatcally lewd," finally protecting folks who published magazines and films concerning America's naturist (non-sexual social nudity) movement. The KEY word was automatically: circa 1971, the courts landed up holding that individual communities could impose their own local obscenity standards concerning the type of films that could be shown in theaters. Such a constraint only became substantially moot when adult video moved to electronic tapes, and later, to the Internet, beyond the practical reach of local pressure groups and prosecutors.
And it wasn't only "porn" which was stigmatized. To a large degree, sex itself, including MARITAL sex, was crippled by all sorts of laws. In the 1870s, Comstock made sending virtually ALL sex-related materials through the US mail illegal, including stuff like information on birth control. When Sanger opened the first birth control clinic in 1917, New York State shuttered it. Not until the 1930's did the courts finally protect sending birth control information through the US mail.
Until 1965, states could, and did, pass laws preventing MARRIED couples from buying birth control products. The same protection of freedom did not reach unmarried (straight) couples until 1973.
And of course, until the early years of THIS century, states could, and did, pass laws making "sodomy" illegal. This not only made gay sex illegal, but ALSO oral and anal sex between straight couples, EVEN married couples!
So during most of your mom's life, especially her impressionable childhood, repression of sex and sexual art was very severe and uncompromising, and she had to at least appear to acquiesce to same. More, being human, she almost certainly found it less humiliating to rationalize these restrictions as just and sensible, if Stockholm Syndrome wasn't enough to do the job.
I'd like to commend to your attention a wonderful new HBO series, The Deuce, of which I've seen only three epsiodes. It concerns the sexual culture and evolving sex industry in early 1970s New York City, in particular the area on 42nd Street near the de facto red light district around Times Square. As a teen resident in that city back then, I can assure you it does a very faithful job of capturing both the sexual and non-sexual cultural details of those times!
Things like prostitution and porn were half-tolerated for the sake of keeping them out of other places. As they were illegal, there was no protection by law - meaning that "protection" came from pimps who'd beat up clients who hurt or short-changed their girls - at least when they weren't hurting their girls themselves for not working hard enough for them. The same deal applied to drug abuse and the illegal drug trade, and there were perhaps half a dozen serious violent crimes EVERY day in that area!
This sort of reality reinforced the idea in people like your Mom that sex trades are "inherently" unhealthy, dangerous, etc - and a SURE route to poverty! Of course, the only thing MAKING that so was the absence of protection which every legal activity enjoys! Today, you don't hear about all the violence and death surrounding the sale of liquor - because there is very little. But when it was illegal in the 1920's, there was more than enough of that to go around!
To start your Mom on the route to reform, I'd like to have you read a book: Sex in the Museum: My Unlikely Career at New York's Most Provocative Museum, Amazon page here (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B011I5QMO8). It is a wonderful book on three levels: the story of how any museum gets started up, the story of the romantic life of a young woman of today, and a serious look at the nature, history and culture of sexuality. Sarah Forbes, the book's anthropologist author is quoted here (https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/sex-in-the-museum_us_57449e06e4b0aad87c8bae96), so:
When I first started working at the Museum of Sex in 2004, the institution wasn’t allowed to advertise in the subways due to the taboo of the topic. Now the Museum can be found on billboards across the city and spotted on your morning commute.
While, in some ways, this is due to people’s understanding that the Museum of Sex is actually a museum, it is also a part of a larger cultural shift in which the mainstream is more aware of and open to the diversity of sexuality. The Internet has exposed many to the depths of definitions of sex that were once considered fringe... While we still have a long way to go, over the last decade working in this field, I have seen a tremendous cultural normalization when it comes to sex.

When you finish this book, I want you to urge your mom to read it as well, so that it can form the basis of a discussion on sex between you. Mom's formal sex education was likely quite limited, and I'd be surprised if most of what she knows about the subject was wasn't gleaned from whispered discussions and the school of hard knocks.
When I have more time, I'd like to suggest additional material you may find useful in enlightening Mom to an alternative point of view concerning sex and sexual art.
Best always,

Hey Dani,
After all the serious stuff I wrote above, I thought I'd treat you to a little music which celebrates the liberation of porn we have been lucky enough to enjoy in recent times.
Above, Sarah Forbes asserted that
...the mainstream is [now] more aware of and open to the diversity of sexuality. The Internet has exposed many to the depths of definitions of sex that were once considered fringe...To prove her points, the singing group DaVinci's Notebook offers up the tune Internet Porn, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxYVBNhJ3pc).

And as to your assertion that porn itself is now mainstream, the smash hit Broadway musical from the previous decade, Avenue Q, examines this hypothesis in the tune The Internet is for Porn, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTJvdGcb7Fs).

Hey Dani,
I heard you when you complained in a recent video log about repressive sex laws which undermine your social and economic freedom. And by now you know how much worse it was in previous generations. So it is all the more amazing that almost a half-century ago the musical Let My People Come came along to stand up and say, "Enough is Enough!" (Indeed, following up on feebler similar protests over the previous decade.)
First, I'd ask you to hear what inspired such a project - supposedly the highest grossing Off-Broadway production in history - by downloading and viewing the 4-minute video clip here (http://videos.weebly.com/uploads/4/9/6/8/49684907/__lmpc_transfer_to_m4v_678.mp4).
http://danielleftv.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1190&stc=1&d=1521271878
Then, listen to the wonderful song from the show which tells off the jerks behind so many repressive sex laws, I Believe My Body, here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oA3S5SSM4Xw&list=PLh0ysVWgxTizx7UrYcCAVhhswyoCbq6mL&t=0s&index=7). And do enjoy the religious fervor with which it expresses its message, given that sexual repression has so often been religiously inspired.

You might even share this post with your mom and see what she thinks about it!

In video log 713 you talk about people not paying for porn, and ask about how other people would feel about working for free. I am a musician so I do a lot of work for free and post a lot of free content. I think there is a place for it. I'm not advocating stealing, but I think that the models of everyone gets something for free but those who pay get something extra, or content is provided for free but donations are expected, though not required (which is the way most of my concerts work) , or advertisers rather than consumers pay for the content, are all viable alternative methods where people can get some free content which is supported by others paying for it.

Hi Jim,
*IF* Danielle decides to reply to your post, you'll see it here.
It might take a while, though, as Danielle looks into the Forum only sporadically these days.

That's a question only Danielle can answer. I hope it will be soon.
Danielle did post on Twitter about content from several shootings that she has in the pipeline and has to prepare.

Here you're wrong on several levels.
First of all, the Forum is completely free. Danielle doesn't earn a single cent from any member account created here. On the contrary, hosting the Forum does cost money she or FTV Girls don't get back.
The number of paying members of her professional website can't in any way be determined from the Forum.
Second, the Forum's Member count does include every current Forum account, active or inactive. There are thousands of accounts that haven't been used in years. (I might delete most of those inactive accounts someday.)
It also includes Forum accounts that haven't been confirmed, a requirement to post in the Forum we had to introduce to protect it against spammers. A monthly purge of unconfirmed Forum accounts I conduct lies around 5000 on normal months.
Currently, there is a tidal wave of about 250 spam accounts created per day, and that's only the ones that get confirmed by the spam bots. Next month's purge might easily exceed 9000 accounts.
Seeing that the Forum almost completely died down, I estimate the number of real active Forum users that are looking in here somewhat regularly to be around 30 people, 100 at most. (And I think that's an optimistic view.)
Third, and I hate to say it, Corona is still around.
In this day and age, it would be foolish to run around and do scenes with people who get in close contact with many other people. You would need Corona tests of all participants (Talent, photographer and who else gets involved) about twice a week to be on the safe side, I think. You can't handle that.
That said, it should be possible for Danielle to finally process the content she has shot already. I can only guess that she might see the Corona topic not getting solved in the near future, and having something left to publish as a plus point. I don't know.

Good afternoon. While I agree with Anoree and his explanation of this post, I also believe that is is not an answer. Yes the forum is free, but you have to pay a monthly charge to see this site. It is a shame that you always provide an excuse for Danielle, instead of her giving us the reason she doesn’t do anything for her fans anymore. Why should us true fans pay for this site when no content has been done for quite sometime. We just get a computerized “happy birthday” post. She is not even active on twitter anymore. Just wondering why?

Anoree, I apologize for misstating items, the whole post was to question when we would members n fans would see new content. I believe it is over a year.
She does not even say thank you for gifts she receives. No acknowledgement period. I would prefer she would return my gifts, to include diamond n emerald necklace n ring, bracelets n necklaces n rings other than I mentioned earlier n gemstone butterflies, clothes, and so much more. I really do not want them back, I just wanted acknowledgement that she has received something from me with a simple thank you.
She has refused me access to her store. I was able to order once, no anymore. Why? I do not know. I was only trying to buy clothes for my girlfriend who is similar in size. She has gone so far to have CCBill refuse anything I wanted to purchase. I wanted to take her to Carnival, or possibly direct a film, both r on her wish list. I really wish she would b reasonable and let me purchase items from her store like everyone else.
Regarding Corona, I understand that, but she published a list of videos and other items she has completed but needed to edit. I thought that this work would have been done. Corona is not something to be ignored. But she could do this editing by herself n she also could do video logs. These two items are just a few items she could do for her members/fans.
I have followed Danielle for years n have enjoyed every year that I have followed. I am thankful that I can b a member and enjoy her work like others. I have ALWAYS wanted the best for Danielle. I have never showed disrespect towards her n never have done anything that would be questionable.
So with this, I will complete this post, with all the respect she deserves. I believe that all her members n fans, including myself, have enjoyed her work n and are thankful for the opportunity to be apart of that work. She has always been a true believer that the members n fans are her base to continue to grow. This is just a GREAT thing she does for us.
With all due RESPECT, sincerely Richard Cram
