I just can't get what on Earth all those other boys see on the Dallas. Maybe I never will.
Yes, yes, I'm guilty of being into beautiful grown women with the appeareance of beautiful grown women (ie, Danielle).

Aww...thanks you guys. I won't lie, being next to her sometimes is kind of difficult. She has a tiny skinny body that everyone loves and so I seem to get "pushed aside" quite a bit.

Anybody who would "push you aside" is CRAZY! Dallas is a cute girl for sure, but she's NOT as beautiful as you are angel, not by a long shot!!

Why Big Bear? Flagstaff is about 200 miles closer and they probably have just as much snow after the recent storms.

Hope you had fun.

Well the people who came up with the whole trip live in California so Big Bear is closer to them. I was supposed to go to Flagstaff last weekend, but the roads ended up getting snowed in.

Everyone has different tastes in whom they are attracted to.

Too many people have poor taste. It's that simple. Your friend is certainly attractive. No argument from me. But it's strange why you would ever feel like you're being pushed aside. No no to any overweight talk either.

Actually funny thing is I was looking for a red dress at first (red is an attention drawer.) I will be sure to get a red dress next time.

Hi sweet and tender Danielle,

I hope it's the right place to tell you how I loved your journal, especially everything concerning your work (school, fencing, philosophy, math...) In fact I guess that when you do not write in it it's because you do many other things but when you have many other things done, you have many things to tell...
Well, I am very impatient to read your next chapter

With love from Sarah

On Journal: I'm a little irritated right now. Not only do I have to deal with people complaining but there seems to be a lot of drama with my group right now. I feel like I'm in high school again.

I wish you're feeling better today, Danielle. And why would anyone complain at you? On this forum, or at your personal life? (I was yesterday a bit impatient about the next update, but it was more of being eager than complaining).

Is the drama happening in a situation you can't avoid? If it's not a study group or team you have to be in maybe it's better to try to hang around positive and supportive people, and start ignoring the troublemakers.

I am feeling better...I just had to talk with some of my girlfriends and get some stuff straightened out. I guess that's just something you have to deal wtih when you have friends (especially girlfriends.)

Wow! You have been soooo busy! Eve when I was that young I was never that busy (kinda makes me a bit envious; somehow it seems like you've found that balance between enjoying life as it happens and building for your future). I suppose its a shame you missed out on meeting some celebs here and there, but imagine you'll meet others at other events eventually. Most importantly though, I'm glad you have a new papillon since I remember having to give up your other left you blue. Cheers, eh

I know! I'm so happy about Love Bug too. She is the love of my life right now (that is until she pees or poos in the house...then she's the devil child :D.) I am fortunate that I have the time (and money) to be able to experience all the things I am doing now. Dallas and I talk about that all the time too. I know that this is going to be the only chance I have to take the trips that I do and go to the events I attend because for the next 30 years at least I will be in the "real world" working a "real job" until I retire (and of course I'm not going to be going to EDC or Miami Beach for WMC when I'm that old...I don't think I would have the energy for it by then.)

I love the accommodation mixups you're having - it sounds just like what happens when I try to organise a bunch or people - honestly, I think herding cats would be easier. And speaking of cats, you should soooooo get that one from the vet's. I've got the of them and they're great company - when they feel like it.

Well I actually took an online cat breed test to find out which cat breed would be the best for me. The cat that came out with 95% was a Sphynx. I've been looking into them and they are pretty pricy but they seem to fit everything that I want in a cat. My mom is going to make fun of me so bad if I get one.

If you think that's grainy check out the candid dance video I did that night at like 3:30 in the morning. I've never seen a video so grainy. But I had to put it up. Next time I will not be using the camera on my computer.

A cat! I think the most important thing to consider is how it's going to get along with Love Bug, Gratch and Taquito. If they're not compatible, you're in for a whole bunch of misery!!!

Very true! Hence why the breed test matched me up to a Sphynx. Apparently they are supposed to be one of the best breeds for other animals. I wish they had a test trial for animals.

You bet I was happy! These photos were taken after I stood on the room (MY room) balcony watching Rob video tape Danielle using a pair of toys on herself. As Rob filmed, I made my own videos and took lots of photos. A dream come true for this Old Guy! Danielle offered to pick me up, go to lunch, and drop me at the airport but she wound up babysitting for Baby Carter. It broke my heart but family comes first.

I know! I really wanted to do lunch with you too. I ended up watching baby Carter like all day long. It was okay because I think my mom and dad just needed a break for a day (plus Carter was being incredibly sweet...we ended up taking a nap in each others arms for a couple hours.) I can't see why they claim to be unsatisfied either. - Perhaps they are unsatisfied with their lifes (as in "The wife found out!").

The only thing I can imagine is that they expected to see more hardcore shoots by now, but you explained perfectly well why they don't happen at the moment.
You shouldn't feel pressed to do more. Do it with your own pace and your chosen partners. The more relaxed you are about it, the more we will enjoy it, too.

Asking the "unsatisfied" customers what they think was missing could be interesting. It would show them how much you care.
I don't think you can ask every one, though. You could ask one or two dozen and see what responses you get. (I think not even half of them would respond anyway.)

I think the vast majority of your members is very satisfied with what they get at your site. You are truely unique in the business. Don't let a few grumpy people tear you down.

captnjack
06-04-2010, 08:30 AM
I wouldn't put much credence to the charge back reasons especially when they list disatisfied as the reason. I suspect that most of the charge backs are just people ripping you and ccbill off. Like you said I can't imagine anyone joining without first checking out the forum and make an informed decision as whether they will like your site. I wonder how many of the chargebacks delete your material that they have downloaded?

brad
06-04-2010, 09:59 AM
"Unsatisfied" beats the heck outta me too. Like you said, you can see pretty much everything you're gonna get before you shell out, so hu? what's their problem?

And as for the buttholes ripping you off.....I believe in karma, and they'll get theirs somehow, somewhere. And it works the other way too, which means you've got some pretty nice stuff waiting to happen to you :)

Immortal
06-04-2010, 04:31 PM
I don't get it either, "Unsatisfied"!!?? Don't let that worry you Danielle, it may have nothing to do with what you do or don't do. Charge backs are a pain and i get real grumpy when i have to deal with that too.
I would look into the "Minor used card" thing. Although not worth your time the card holder can be charged with fraud. Than again, "Boys will be boys."

You don't need those "Unsatisfied" losers. It's their loss. You will always have a lot of loyal fans and friends that will be there to lift you up when your down long after your done doing this kind of work.

Unsatisfied!! is a mindboggling reason for cancelling any FTV site. I've been a member of Alisonangel, Lia19 and FTVgirls and i have been fully satified with all those sites. Although i've not been a member of Danielle's yet, i'm 100% sure there's no way i would ever cancel due to not being satisfied, in my opinion any FTV site gives true value for money if not more and i would be tempted like Danielle to email every single one of these idiots who cancelled due to being unsatisfied just to find out what it is they were unsatisfied about. I know FTV updates far more regularly than some sites i've joined in the past. On hearing about these people who are claiming they were unsatisfied with an FTV site has even pissed me off.

I suppose you could say the "unsatisfied" people are likely the inhibited ones with crappy sex lives who are just jealous. Sounds good to me, so why not, and let them go suck on some eggs for a while, the whiners, eh?

The smoothie sounds good. Myself, I usually go with something heavy on mango...now I'm thirsty.

As for the sleep study, I've been there, done that twice. In both cases with me, the study was performed by the SpectREM Sleep Center (associated with UNR's med school). Check in was something like 8 or 9 PM, check out something like 6 or 7 AM if I remember right. It takes a little while to have the electrodes attached to your head (1st time I went I had long hair; 2d, I'd buzz cut it, although not specifically for the study, but it did simply things for me & the tech). There was a shortish intro meeting with the physician, followed by a longer in-depth discussion with the doctor after the 1st study & another shortish follow-up with the doctor after the 2d study. I forget, but I think they two studies I was in were just a week or so apart. It was interesting, some of it I understood (thank you AP bio & that AA in behavioral science!) a lot was a bit over my head, but long story short what the doc prescribed for me seems to have helped with what ails me (at least I feel better about it, and that goes a long way in & of itself).

And speaking of sleep, now I'd dozy. Cheers, Ms D., and for what its worth, I'd never check the "unsatisfied" box if I canceled a subscription to your site. I quite honestly cannot believe anyone would truly be unsatisfied considering how much you give of yourself here in the free side, and how much more you must put into the premium side with costuming, the webcams, &c. Some people, I suppose, would never be satisfied, not with their left hand, let alone their right, eh? Wankers! ;)

When I was younger and didn't have nothing to do like no school or job to go to.I usually would sleep in and sleep 9-10 hrs.Of course if I slept to much back then I feel like "Dog poo" afterwards.
Now days when I'm off I get up after only 5-7 hrs of sleep and feel ok,but if I try pushing myself to sleep longer then I tend to get a headache.Funny part is when I have to work and get after 7 hrs of sleep then the next day I tend to fall doze off during work.

As for canceling or Chargeback on your site.I had cancel a few times when money was looking alittle tight not due to "unsatisfied".I also have to admit I did a few chargebacks myself ONLY due to the tactics of the sites.there were a few sites where they "Asked" you if you wanted to joined or subscribed to something to other things and you had to check yes to them, but in their cases you have to carefully look and "Uncheck" yes cause they would auto check you yes for everything unless you uncheck and I scan quickly through page after page trying to get through to the end without realizing I was getting "auto subscribe" to eveything under the sun.

I watched the last webcam show from June 1, and two things came to mind: 1- this site is $20.00, and if one lap dance that lasts 3 minutes is $20, the webcam show was worth at least $400.00 . So with 2 webcam shows a month, I don't see how anyone could resist becomming a member immediately. 2- Danielle kept mentioning that she loved 80's music, however if she just turned 22, I am amazed that she would enjoy that music so much. ...On reflection, that second thought should have stayed in my head. I must say that she does look so nice in that video that I wish I had been able to watch it live.

I will be scheduling the next webcam show pretty soon here so I really hope you will be able to join me during it. My mom actually got me into 80's music. When she would drive me to and from school and work when I was younger we would listen to one of the local radio stations that played a lot of 80's music.

Some people, I suppose, would never be satisfied, not with their left hand, let alone their right, eh? Wankers! ;)

Hmm...well waking up that early does not fly well with me. I shall have to tell them to let me sleep in :D.

I'm perfectly fine with people cancelling. I understand things happen. As long as they are happy with their "experience" on my website then I'm also happy. I've heard of websites charging you for several websites when you only signed up for one. It's definitely something that gives this business a bad reputation.

As for you meeting some brit in Vegas.Guess I should be happy for you,but have to admit I'm alittle envious for th guy cause I wasn't in his shoes. :)
As for the 3 day rule I had never followed it.I had gone out with a girl and had such a great time with her I called her the next day to tell her that.I even sent her a dozen roses with a note telling her that I had a great time with her.
In your case if I was that lucky SOB and manage to have you for 3 days and in my room.I would have taken you to the nearest jewelry store and gotten you an engagment ring.....ok at least a nice necklace so you would keep me in mind and I would have called you the next day after we had parted and screw the 3 day rule.
If the guy hadn't called you by now and you had told him about your site. There is a sad chance he might had been thinking he bedded a celebrity internet porn star and have a fun story to tell his buddies back in England and something to write to Penthouse letters about. Then since he a brit he may be more "reserved" and decided to take longer to call. In any case it always the guy who calls first IF he is interested in seeing the girl again..if not then it cause he thinking he had a great lay and moved on.

Yes I do believe in love at first sight or at least something close to it. and everyone has a soulmate It had happen to me once in the past and the girl was the prettiest girl in school and I felt like the luckest guy in the world cause she felt the same way about me.Unfortunely My mom end up moving us to Fort Worth (we was living in a small texas town) I went back to visit during school breaks due to my grandparents also lived in the same small town...but like so many Daddies when I went to go see her. Her dad always answered the door and told me she was busy.To this day I still think about her from time to time and wonder if we would have been married now with some great kids.

Sometimes when a person starts reading motives into someone else's actions/inactions, it is a way of pushing aside one's own reasons for doing something (and not doing something counts as "doing something" here--its a choice). I know I've done that myself. Its a hard habit to break sometimes, and sometimes it isn't entirely broken, but being aware of what's going on in your own internal subtext helps, and it sounds like you know that already, and that is half the battle. What I've done when in a similar position is to try and distract myself, to get my mind off it (not always successful). Normally to de-stress, I'd go for a long walk, but, of course, that leaves me alone to dwell on my imagination. Lately (the past 6 years or so), I've tried some tai-chi which seems to help more quieting my mind. Each breath in & out clears the cobwebs and each time I do the chi ball thingy, I leave that negative energy behind, pushing it out the door or window. I know its all figurative, but in my mind it helps calm the synapses and gives me a little peace of mind and I'm able to shrug things off a little easier afterward. And sometimes you can just laugh, viz:

You know, I was watching Teachers and it occurred to me that you do so much for your fans--some of it goes with the territory, some you do goes way beyond what any of us have a right to expect (although sometimes it appears some of use do make that assumption)--but who do you do it for? The website pays your bills, you have a creative outlet in both the performance and layout, but its still work, no? Re-reading your journal entries and letting things simmer for a few hours and I started to wonder if your desire to find someone, that Brit or someone else is you're need to find someone you can be yourself, not the persona you likely have to use here, and be yourself without someone imposing their image of you on. Moreover, who do you get to play with? I mean, sex replaces play, and we all need to play, no? I hope I'm not causing more trouble, just trying to understand myself. I do hope you find that someone you can play with, Ms D, let your hair down with, laugh and cry and dream with, and soon.

Hi,
Sounds as if you had a very eventful Birthday trip to Vegas! Major crush/love wonderful and painful all at once and no good way to separate the two. Just have to endure and hope for the best outcome.

Sorry to hear about the charge backs. You’d think the credit card companies of the individuals would get wise after awhile. If they had any integrity they’d just cancel after a month.

Liked your make up!

Take care, persevere, but most of all stay Happy!

I don't understand The Brit at all. Meeting you and having a chance to start a relationship with you would be my dream come true. I'd never lie to you or cheat on you. And I'd allways have an ear or eye for you, 24/7.

I guess you just have to realize "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." As much as I hurt for you, Danielle, I think meeting anyone in Vegas, apparently hooking up with them, and then expecting a "relationship" to happen is rather naive.

Everyday, people lie or tell half truths to get what they want. Many men will lie through their teeth if they think sex is coming their way. Then.... there is Vegas!! It isn't called "Sin City" for no reason. Spontaneous hookups are the norm there. Give two good looking people some alcohol, some bikinis, some sun, some bare chests with good bodies, and "things happen." It might be good if you can just accept "one night stands" for what they are OR simply "say no" and save yourself the sadness of thinking a guy is possibly The One!

Just my two cents for what it's worth... .well, two cents!

From the june 14th Journal entry:
I just don't know what to do. Part of me wants to call or text him or even message him on Facebook and ask him what's going on. I really probably should give it up but then again I'm not a quitter at all and I had an amazing time with him and thought that things could work out even though we live thousands of miles away from each other. C'mon, are you actually reading your own post? What I don't understand is how I'm not completely jaded at guys considering how much I get lied to. Neither do I. Really.Honestly I should become a private detective because I ALWAYS find out about people lying to me.So, you got yourself a third employment option after you resign the site or in the case Med school goes awry.

Hey sweetie,

I'm sitting here waiting for the Haily/Hayden vids to finish dling over on Robs site and I decided to take a look through your forum boards:) It amazes me how little we take the girls here for granted and how little we realize what their lives are like. I found your blog/journal quite entertaining and interesting. It constantly fascinates me how quickly a person can grow on you by just reading/seeing their life.

I just wanted to write and offer my support as I know you probably are feeling pretty crummy as of late from your brit guy. We all seek to fit in, to place, somewhere with someone and it's tough until you've found that spot. Lord knows how the world does it.

The brit guy either A: is being very mature if he's always traveling and knows he can't have anything or B: he isn't into you and he's just plain rude.

Sorry I"m being blunt but that's usually how I am. I generally hate dancing around topics and I like just being brutally honest. I hate relationships where the world has taught us we have to do this, this this this this, blah this do this. It's a hell of a lot easier just to dish it out and if he/she can't handle it well then you move on. Perhaps as Geezer put it, "What stays in Vegas, stays in Vegas" is correct and perhaps Mr. Brit was thinking that as well. His loss as you're a wonderful woman. From a perspective of a guy from reading your blog, he's given you all the signs (he might think he's being polite but he's really being rude) in saying he's not interested. Guys like that drive me nuts. If you are not interested in a girl say so! It saves a girl (like you) from being left hanging wondering where does he stand. There is no excuse for him not taking four or five minutes to write you a nice little line or message or whatever! Uncalled for! Ah I'd give my left eye for proper communication in relationships. If he wants to keep in contact with you he will. Let him do the leg work from now on. He's being a total (whats the English word for... oh ya) cad treating you like this. If he doesn't then you know he's not for you.

Okay all done bashing in-adept men and lack of communication:)

I find your open sexuality, your life, so hectic! But it amazes me what the capacity a human being can do and yet live so much! You truly are an amazing young woman with an aptitude for life. Never stop or change who you are.

One last thing. Chemistry is hard to find. Finding someone who will stay with you longer after the fireworks fade (the romance stage in a relationship) is tougher. If you can have that then you'll be set for life sweets.

Fond regards and don't give up!

J:)

Hi,

Oddly enough a similar thing happened to a friend of mine. She was a bartender at a local very upscale hotel. Jaguar came to southern Calif. To introduce the XK 8, shoot a commercial, and let the motor press drive the cars. They were here for about a week or ten days. My friend and one of the Brits got very close and hooked up a few times. She fell pretty hard for him and they promised to stay in touch when he left. Of course she never heard from him again. She swallowed her pride and wrote him but never heard back.

Maybe it’s best to just look at your trip to Vegas as a “Great Time” but now it’s back to the real world.

I really appreciate you taking the time to write all this to me. My dad also thinks the Brit is being a "cad". I don't believe in the whole "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" and I think that people who do believe that are seriously fooling themselves. I'm trying to get over him but it's like you said I'm still left wondering where he stands and if he's even interested in a relationship. Everyone starts off this life with the right (not the word I wanted by it'll do) to happiness. Then as we progress we're taught and we buy into the idea that we have to earn happiness, that we're not worthy of happiness, &c. We're taught that play is something you leave behind when you grow up; rather, its something that transforms. We all need that creative outlet that play offers, as well as that intimacy, that feeling of trust we share with a lover. Denying that creates a whole weight of negativity that weighs us down, crushing us when, or if, we let it. You deserve happiness, Ms D, and that includes finding that man or woman (or both) that makes your heart sing, your synapses fire, your toes curl and your stomach do somersaults. You deserve it, because you are a fine woman. Sarah deserves it, WhyYou deserves it, Tigger, Missy, Ugo, Rob, everyone, even yours truly. The question is, do we let ourselves have what we're entitled to? Will you let yourself find comfort in yourself, and thus give yourself permission to unlearn those habits that keep you from being happy with your lover? You're a giving woman, witness how much of yourself you put not only into modeling but also talking with the lot of us. You're a passionate woman--you put so much into your shoots and from what I understand your webcams. You have passions, some of which you let out for total strangers, so I have to ask, why not let them out with the person who turns your head, makes you tongue-tied and makes you stumble over your own feet? You'll find him or her (or them) in time. The catch is never so sweet if the hunt isn't worthwhile. Too esoteric or windy? Must be the Taco Bell I ate while reading TS Eliot. Sorry ;)

BTW guys, I did find out that he had a girlfriend who he has been with for at least 3 years now and who he just took to the US for vacation. I'm not a "clingy" girl. I just don't like to be taken advantage of and left "high and dry" like he did to me. He lied to me about having a girlfriend. He made me feel like there was something there and even talked to me about coming to visit him in London.

But I'm already over him. I actually joined a very popular dating site (won't tell you guys which one though) because my mom suggested it.

Sure ya can! You have a pair of (I think) exceptional people governing now on HM's behalf in Cameron & Clegg. Personally, I wish we could work a coalition along those lines here. And for what its worth, I had no idea you were in the UK--I guess there's another exception to the rule that all Englishmen are pasty, with teeth that point in all directions, &c., &c. FWIW, Enigma2, most of my ancestors were from Jolly Olde, I am pasty, I had buck teeth (thank you orthodontics & that diving accident when I was 9ish), &c., &c. ;)

Good on ya! Tally-ho! Back to the hunt. Besides, no matter what he sounded or looked like we know "all" Brits are a bunch of pasty blokes with receding hairlines (and chins), sticks for legs, ***-less, flat-footed, limp you-know-what, big eared, crooked buck toothed ninnies anyway (no offense to YAD, Mart, Wills, Harry or Ms D's step-dad--who will hopefully never read this--you are all, no doubt, are exceptions to the rule ;)).

How dare you sir!!!, i'd ask you to step outside, but seeing as i'm among the exception list, i'll let you off just this once.:D

How dare you say that about my city, Geezer? Ok, JK. Yeah, I know this to be true. "Sin City" is not the entire city, though. I consider it to be the Strip and several blocks surrounding the area. Apparently I'm not living the Vegas lifestyle because I'm not out there every night getting Circus O Laid.

I do agree with you, Geezer, on the fact that guys can be pure evil when pursuing sex.

So Danielle, I would like to apologize on the behalf of men everywhere, and I hope you never have to run into that situation again.

So where's "San Diego"? Is it near Sandy Eggo? (Gonna keep using that since that's what I thought the place was named when I was like 4 or 5 and visited there and it reminds me that no one's perfect.)

Good to hear your pup's doing better. My mom's dog (a deer chihuahua which I guess isn't really a chihuahua since they come from the opposite side of Mexico and may be part fox, or descended from foxes or something like that) took a bit more than 6 months to house train, and is taking longer to become more social (he has a very short temper and while he doesn't bite, he has this really weird growl he makes; he's not a big barker (or a Bob Barker), he really sounds a lot like a fox more than a dog). Part of his problem was when he was a few months old, a neighbor let their pit bull puppy out, and while the pit bull, I'm pretty sure, wasn't trying to hurt mom's dog, it scared the bejeezus out of her and her dog so now they're both skittish and tense up real quick.

I think the only time I went to anything like EDC was when I went to Scottish games throughout Northern Calif.--Santa Rosa when they were there, Roseville, and the games in the East Bay near Oakland & Pleasanton mostly. I sort of miss those. We have something small in the fall up here in Reno, I guess akin to the smaller games at Roseville or Oakland, but the Santa Rosa now Pleasanton Games were really huge! Last year they had the games in SR, I went out with 2d Bat Scots Guards (they'd just gotten back a shortish time before from Kuwait) who bought rounds of drinks for the house and did some highland dancing there for everyone, including the sword dance. It was seriously wicked!

Have a safe drive home & stay cool, Ms D! Paz

You keep your apartment at 65 during the summers in the Phoenix desert? OMG! Your energy bill must be threw the roof. Here in the Vegas desert, I keep my apartment at 75, and when the AC comes on, it's nice for the first 5 minutes. After that, it's becomes winter, and my nipples are able to cut glass.

You are always up to something: birthday trip to Sin City, EDC in LA, and San Diego all within a 2 month period. I can't have my Danielle exhausted. You do too much you know? You're not Supergirl.

Hmmm, I see lots of interesting, lovely choices. Very nice wish list, Ms D. Myself, I'd love to see you paired with Kasey Chase or Sarah Shevon (Has Ms Shevon done anything outside Kink tho? I should probably check Freeones, which you've probably already done). Lexi Belle would be interesting too. I've seen some of her GG stuff for Mr. O'Connell, and remember reading something that, as it happens, Ashlyn Rae said about meeting Ms Belle shortly after her 1st GG scene (I think it was her 1st GG experience as well--I may have mis-read that tho, or it may have been wishful thinking on my part, lol!). Apparently upon finishing her scene (think that was an O'Connell production) she met Ms Belle who told her she was lucky that she (Ms Rae) had been with someone else 1st, because she (Ms Belle) would have been merciless with her, or words to that effect. I'd love to see how you & Ms Belle interacted, and which of you would dominate! Likewise with Ms Shevon for that matter, and Ms Chase, quite simply, is too cute in my humble opinion. So, any chance of making at least some of your wish list come true, eh ...? ;)

Eh...maybe...maybe not. The problem with hiring female talent is that unless FTVRob is shooting them for FTVGirls then I would most likely have to pay for it (that could become potentially expensive considering I would also have to pay for their flights...I'm thinking it would be around $800-$1000 altogether). Another one of the issues is that I would get a ton of updates with that one girl and after about two updates I think I would probably get people complaining about that girl being on the site too much.

Its still fine to make a wishlist though. And who know, as best I can tell neither Ms Chase nor Ms Shevon have huge presences on the 'net yet, so perhaps Rob would be more inclined with what sounds like rave reviews of Ms Rae to open things up to a not-quite-First Time Video girl, with the added benefit of giving you someone to work (or play) with.

And, of course, you can never please all the people all the time, but since you are the star and they (we) all come here for you, me thinks giving you time to be you for you and letting you explore/play/express, maybe push a few boundaries isn't such a bad thing. And if it keeps you engaged, energized, re-invigorated, & it makes later updates better than before so much the better for us, and you. Meh, but you're probably right, but still one hopes, eh?

Busy, busy girl! (Sorry, Gentlewoman!). I admit, I got anxious reading about LB's fall. I'm going to be looking for the "all clear" when LB is off bed rest & up & about again.

I'm glad you're taking your time with school. When I was in college I felt like I was always rushing, even though I quit and went back a few times. I don't like feeling like I'm leaving something incomplete (like working on my degrees) but at the same time looking back I wish I'd made the time to take a few classes I thought were too self-indulgent (that is, they weren't on the required or elective menu for my major or minor or on my GE list). I could have taken a class I wanted in the summer, after all, what's 3 hours here or there when you're having fun? Do they offer a class in critical thinking at your school? Its a GE requirement in CA and I heartily recommend it if they do (& hopefully it would knock off a philosophy req for ya). I hated it when I was taking it, but in retrospect it was worth the time & thought.

One of these time when you head up to NorCal, you have to pop over to Tahoe at least. Having said that, I do love The City (I may be a COan, I may love the Red Feather Lakes, Shambhala, Ben Delatour Ranch, Estes Park, &c., but I spent most of my life living in the South Bay, East Bay & North Bay). When I was 14-ish a friend & I took the BART bus up to Lafayette, transferred to the train (the one that goes under the Bay) and spent the day in SF. Wicked fun, and the 'rents had (have?) no idea. Oh, and the Scottish knife sounds like a sgian dhu ("Skeen doo") which means black knife. I have a couple, but I'm not sure what the local laws are with concealed weapons so I leave them at home when I go a-kilting.

Looking forward to seeing how you pull your Nocturnal outfit together (sounds like it could be very sweet! Sweet as in wicked naughty).

And when you were in Salem, did you check out my great-great-great-great-&c. grandma's house? Big red wooden homestead on Pine St? I've never been there and am just curious if you've been there as to what its like. Paz!

I think it's awesome that you're considering buying a house! Our little girl is growing up sooo fast! :)

Seriously, It's the perfect time to buy if you can afford it. I've read the the Phoenix area is one of the most depressed housing markets in the country, so there should be a lot of great bargains out there!

Buying a house? YOWZA! Someone is growing up here.:) Duh, I wish I could afford renting an apartment for my family.

And about the sleep thing... I seriously WISH I could sleep like that. Enjoy your sleep while you can. Later, you won't have the time. And, with kids, you'll wish days lasted 30 hours. First-hand experience. Then, after 45 - 55, you'll start to sleep less than 10 - 15 years previous; it's a natural development.

So, "live long and prosper", and Good luck with the house!

I'm sorry that Nocturnal didn't work out for you at all this year, especially as you were so exited about it. I hope Monster Massive makes up for that next month.

Maybe LB was a bit down because she didn't know what to expect again, when you picked her up from boarding.

I can't see you failing English class. That's got to be a mistake. If English is too boring for you, it's the teacher's fault.

Sorry to hear Nocturnal was a bummer, again, Ms D, but more importantly I hope LB continues to recover. My Mom's dog got stung on the snout a few weeks back--swelled up more than double. She took the woofman to the vet who told her dog, like people, can be allergic to stings and like people can go into shock & die. He's a tough bugger though (I imagine LB is too), and after a shot, a course of antihistamines & steroids he's recovered. I can empathize a bit though (I was very anxious about him--I did not know a dog's snout could swell that much or that fast).

Funny ...I started college as a bio major (took AP bio in HS, chem, physics; took trig between my HS Jr. & Sr. years at the junior college, passed them all), and wound up switching to social & behavioral sciences. Nowadays math kicks my butt, but I'm an arrogant cuss who still does long division just to prove I can (mostly to myself now though, lol!). Who knows where you'll wind up? Just enjoy the ride & the learning I say! I like that you're varying the scope of your classes. By the time I was in my last undergrad year I felt soooo rushed and like I'd missed out on so much (the classes I wanted to take, but didn't because they didn't "add to" my major or minor but which would, I'm sure, have been amazing fun and taught me as much as any prereq, GE or core ...).

Skipping back, the house reference from several weeks ago now was the Rebecca Nurse house in Salem. I was pretty sure I was being obtuse then--reading back, who would get that reference? Not I.

Cheers!

Danielle you need to get the the DR. ASAP. the pain you describe could be a lot of things or it could be simple but in my experience as a medic if i came to you on a call i would transport you. If your in that much pain its not gas! This is not somthing to ignore!!!!!!

I'm VERY sorry to hear you're in pain now. I wish I could do anything to make it better.

If the pain was at the right side, I would guess it was an appendicitis, but as it is it seems to be something else.
I once ate something (I don't know what) that gave me serious pain due to gas. It only lasted a day or so, but I could have climbed the walls.

It's good that you see the doc tomorrow. It's better to have that checked. A sonogram probably shows what's wrong.

I really hope it's nothing serious.

P.S.: I'm not a medic; I'd go with tigger's suggestions any time.

You should go to the doctor asap! I do not know how it works in USA -just seen some episodes from Grey's Anatomy - ER - Dr House etc. :-D

In my country some luck is also needed to get over an illness because first of all patient has to find that doctor who gives the right diagnozis soon. Some doctors like keep on trying on the patients...this not too healthy...

Thank you Jhunter. And I have read everything that Jacqueline Carey has published. The Kushiel's Legacy series is my favorite series ever.

everyone morns differently. and we Even morn differently for different people. so that is not strange. you should definitely find a doctor you can trust. i had a similar issue a long time ago. i would have very bad colds/coughs. and nothing seemed to help. doctors kept giving me really strong medications but no one could tell me why. Finally one doctor figured out the problem and gave me a simple home remedy that did the trick. since then i have not needed any prescription cough syrup (i have had anti-biotic and other stuff like that but no prescription cough suppressant.)

Well all the problems in the computers are fixed now. I am moving all my website content to the desktop computer so I can use it to edit. The new(er) laptop I will be using as my gaming computer and the old laptop I will use for school and things like that. Apparently I had viruses, spyware and/or malware on all of them. The computer guy noticed that my webcam was turning on everytime I turned on the computer and apparently it was someone remotely turning it on (ah...f'ing creepy people...for real!). The laptop harddrive got replaced so now it's actually quiet. My wireless router also got replaced since it wasn't working too well and I finally have internet on the desktop computer. The computer guy also made it so that all the computers are hooked up to one network. And apparently all those times I thought I was backing everything up on my external harddrive...well it wasn't backing anything up. So he fixed it so that they automatically back up every day.

Danielle, Both the Infiniti and Hyundai you're looking at are good cars. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is really cool too, but I can see what you mean about a coupe raising your insurance rates. Leasing is a great idea if you only plan on keeping the car a few years, but don't ever go over the minimum mileage. My sister did that on an Explorer that she leased and it cost her a fortune!

Glad you like your new car. Beemer’s are generally lots of fun to drive. A thousand years ago I had a 2002 Tii that I just loved.

As to James Takes Charge, it turned out quite well. It did look as if you were getting into it more, although I do like your nervousness as well.

We've discussed it. My issue yet again is the cost. I'm not sure how much female talent makes in a b/g/g shoot in AZ but I think they usually make $800 in LA. I'm not really keen on paying a ton of money to do a shoot with another girl. That's why I don't hire models myself and only wait until an FTVGirl wants to shoot.

Sorry about the not-girlfriend. We invest feelings and trust, when it doesn't pan out it can be disturbing. It can be a challenge to maintain a close relationship with a popular and well-loved person. Especially if the other has self-esteem issues. The loved one may be such a useful and needed soul that others often take up his or her time. Sometimes a loved one belongs to others as much as to their lover. One needs to get used to his or her other obligations. There are many successful relationships wherein each person goes his or her own way most of the time. At the same time, they have to resist becoming so detached that they no longer show up for each other. For some dialogue can be a major challenge. So can compassion and consideration for anothers feelings.

It is better to serve with an attitude of reverence as one looks upon the loved one as an embodiment of the Divine. That is so rare that I always trust people to do what they believe is in their best interest, and remain unconcerned about the outcome.

Your spiritual journey has the potential to impact all your relationships in a positive way. ;)

...and that LoveBug, come on! I can't get over that costume and the look! HAA!

That party didn't sound too awful. I would like to go to one sometime. Is it a club or a list? A ballet dancer GF & I were members of the Sappho Club in San Fran for a year. Unbelievable! Private sex club, live shows, dramas etc. BTW, Danielle, you must know The Armory gives tours? http://www.sfarmory.com/tours.php?gclid=CLva3pyk86wCFQSFhwodE06ILg That would be a blast! Sometimes you can watch the filming (be a part of it if it was you! lol) 100 employees. They fixed up some of the place nice, left it rough elsewhere. A natural stream runs through it. There is a tour vid on the site. I remember it as a derelict bldg.

Wandering off here. Thanks again for the great journal! Best yet!

I recently did the tour with a young lady friend. My only regret was not taking a camera. I figured that Kink makes their money selling "images" and photos wouldn't be allowed. Heck, everyone else was snapping like crazy and making videos. I intend to return but with my camera!:D

That is an ancient Egyptian cat, isn't it? Fascinating! ;)

Sphynx cats are actually Canadian. I met the cat today. He is absolutely adorable. He has a little sister that is incredibly cute too (she actually has hair though). The breeder offered to give her to me for free (I think she really wants to keep them together).

An Egyptian Mau (mau is egyptian for cat) has spotted fur and an "M" noticable on its forehead. My cat is noticably part Egyptiam Mau. He has the "M", the pouch under and behind his rear legs (the pouch allows his legs to stretch out further than other cats which means that he can run MUCH faster), he has a dog-like personality (his favortie game is to play catch, he actually does bring his toy back to me and he knows "find" and "bring it"), and his tail is very articulate, especially the tip (it will wiggle much like a rattler's tail, if I put a rattle on the tail you would think you heard a snake). He does not, however, have spotted fur. He is mostly gray with white on his chest, belly, and paws.

Danielle,

Don't worry about the anal video. You'll get it edited when you can. Lots of things going on this time of year. It's no reason to stress about! :)

Oh brother, all that can be hard to take. Especially on a day when you should be relaxing & having a good time. Shows how dedicated you are to your work and your fans. Much appreciated, Danielle. You will get it straightened out. ;) Wish I could help.

Regarding the editing of your anal video, perhaps you can take your computer to a shop and have more memory added? Not sure if it's your RAM or your video card, however. A computer store, or a friendly Geek can tell you no doubt!

What is the CPU and the memory on your computer? Generally for editing HD footage it is recommended that you have at least a dual core and preferably a quad core processor. Also, what software package are you using? Can it handle the HD footgage from that particular camera?

Those are about the minimum requirements for HD. My old desktop had an E6600 processor and could edit, but it was kind of laggy.

I wasn't a huge fan of the roast (for some reason beef hasn't tasted all that fantastic to me lately). I did love the Yorkshire pudding...even though I could practically feel the oiliness of it coating my mouth and throat lol.

How was it made? Like individual puff pastries, not quite as greasy. Or in a flat pan very greasy but the best in my opinion. :D

Your kitten is really cute but the poor little guy looks like he would get cold without his fur coat to keep him warm.

They can. I'm sure he'll be fine during the summer. I've been keeping the temperature at 74/75 degrees so I don't think he should be too cold.

Hi Danielle, just read your journal about your reaction to negative comments on that review site. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't read some a-holes comments on some message board on a sports new site, or a news story comments section etc. Some people just have a lot of hate, jealousy, frustration or whatever and they feel the need to lash out at others. These people are probably cowards and would never say such things in person. How many people can say they have their own successful website where they get paid for being awesome, and beautiful, and naked, and awesomely beautifully naked!!?? I'm almost certain the idiots that say such negative things have never been paid to have their own website.

I completely agree that they would never say such things to someone face to face.
