No...I think that they shoot on the island of Oahu (but don't quote me on that.)

Be careful Danielle, people might think Rob's a nerd :D

What are malasadas?

Malasadas are Portugeuse donuts normally covered in sugar and filled with different fillings (my favorite is the custard filled malasadas.

LOL...Rob fly first class? Yeah right. It's quiet funny actually that he can spend 2 million dollars on a car but can't spend the money to fly first class. But anyways, he actually upgraded us to first class the first part of the trip, but coming home we flew coach.

Right now I am feeling pretty sad. There is a guy who I honestly think is the Devil incarnate. He is evil and trys to spread negativity and hate to everyone around him. He has been emailing Rob, Lia, and I, writing the most evil, spiteful things I've ever heard. I feel horrible for Rob. Rob is by far the best boss I've ever had. He is kindhearted, loving, and giving. He would go to any lengths to please the members of his sites and to help out his friends or family. That is why I feel so bad...because Rob helped this guy out and in return is being treated like crap. Not only that, but anyone who is involved in FTVGirls is also being attacked and harassed on a daily bases. Rob has created beautiful things (the sites, the pictures, etc.) and I don't think people truly appreciate his talent or the amount of work he puts into it. People look at the picture and they think "wow, that's a beautiful girl" but they don't think about the person behind the camera...you know the one who is spending hours creating this beautiful thing for all of us to enjoy. I look at the pictures that Rob takes of me, and I want to cry because they capture that beauty that sometimes I don't see. Rob has made all of his girls into better people, especially me. I wish people weren't so negative and would appreciate the things that they are given. I appreciate this site being made for me...and I appreciate all of you amazing guys who post daily on my site and try to make it into something great. People need to stop looking at what they don't have and start looking at what they do. So if you are that guy that I'm talking about and you are reading this, please take it to heart. Quit being so negative and quit trying to mess up other peoples lives. And oh yeah quit posting personal information about me!

I agree about Rob being a great guy. Long story, but I sorta threatened Rob earlier in 2008 while being an *** because he hadn't done anything to me. Not only was he totally chill about the whole situation, but he offered to give me advice and invited me to Phoenix to watch him shoot and work. Who does that? Nobody is that nice right? Well, apparently Rob is!!! Too bad more people aren't like that, it'd make the world a lot better.

I saw you recent journal entry about starting school and needing tutors. I know going back to school is hard (I did it. haha) but never give up and always believe in yourself. I think ANYONE can learn ANYTHING if they try hard enough. I failed once class twice before I passed it on the third attempt (with an A even)

So, keep your head up!!!

Some of my best friends are overweight and not all radiate any more heat than the rest of us. Try saying overweight rather than fat next time Natal, it's less offensive.

Have no fear, you'll get yourself into something of a routine again and find that sweet spot balancing modeling with editing your site with school with family and with trying to have a social life of your own. The important thing is that you are are adaptable and you are in control of where you want to go to achieve your dreams. In the meantime, the pin-up shoot sounds freakin' sweet (just the thought of good ol' fashioned cheesecake, something Bettie Page-esque or Rita Hayward-esque is like manna for the imagination!). And now that yor family has gathered close, I suspect you'll be spending more time with them--especially with young Carter. Just you wait--the day he turns over for the first time, the day he learns how to crawl, then to stand, then that 1st step, the day he takes his own little hands and holds the bottle with you or his mom or grandma, the day he smiled (not just gas) at you, I know you are going to be so overwhelmed, like I was when I 1st became an uncle, and then again when I became an uncle the second time. And then it'll hit you, more than just me writing it, it'll really hit you that you were once that small, once upon a time 20 or so years ago you were learning to roll over, walk, interact with your mom and you'll realize just how much you've grown and changed, and at the same time you'll feel that little girl inside you looking up at you and giving you a smile. I just have to say, I am so very happy for you, Ms D, in everything you do! :)

Hi Danielle

First of all my congratulations for the excellent result of your lab test. I'm hoping with you that result of the lecture test is very good as well and wish you a lot of success in the next tests.
I liked the webcam session of last Wednesday a lot and concerning your question whether to answer the questions on the computer or just speaking them I prefer that you speak them because it's very nice to hear your voice.

With kind regards

"Danielle doesn't give a **** about her fans"
wow thats the most untrue fact i ever heard. I have been talking to other girls over the years and you are the most fan caring person i ever seen, you put more time to your fans then i have ever seen another girl do before.
if you did go over time in your webcam show then it shows that you dont have an alarm like other girls do, they cut as soon as time expired. they dont reply as often on posts and pms as you do. the person that wrote that is nutz or jelous or crazy or something. you also do video logs, some other girls on the internet even take months before they do fansigns that fans requested but you take time for video logs thats even better and the amount of hard work you put into this is amazing. you truly "spoil" us all being so sweet and kind.

need to get laid? well i think im more in a need of getting laid lol.. 24 years virgin :o oops did i say that out loud? :o i atleast mastrubate 1 time everyday and sometimes several times a day lol. my record is 9 times.. haha.. oh i need to get laid badly.. hmm not sure why i write this but maybe helps you endure it if you know some of us have it worse :p

Hi Danielle,

Hope you're feeling better. Good excuse to veg, though.

Don't let a-holes get you down. You can't make people less jerky. People are going to say mean things about you; you, at least, have an army of fans who'll defend you. If someone tells a lie about you, give it the worry it's worth, which is none at all.

As for your driving across the USA idea: flying's quicker, but you'll miss a lot. (Plus airports are the most awful places nowadays!) Particularly in the Southwest, there are a lot of roadside attractions to see, & some of them might like to have you pose in front of them--good PR, y'know? I've driven across country three times, & you never know until you're on the road how much there is to see. For instance, last year, my then-girlfriend & I wanted to see Mount Rushmore, but because we were driving, we also got to go to Wall Drug, Devil's Tower, WY & The Little Al'E'Inn in Rachel, NV.

If you get a chance, pick up a copy of On The Road, & if you still don't have a boyfriend when decide to go, & want a veteran traveler for company, let me know ;)

Ha ha, good thing Danielle, you should not get frost bite, but it is cold right now since some artic air came down. It did snow in the Seattle region last night and is pretty cold. I am just disappointed the snow did not stick... but considering it was almost 65 degrees just a week ago!

Anyway, you need to hit Seattle some day, just 3 hours north of Portland! Hmm, maybe I should use that as an excuse to visit some friends who live there! Portland is awesome, the Gorge area is only about 1/2 hour away and Danielle you should check out Mt. Hood, it's where The Shining movie was shot with Jack Nicholson. The Timberline Lodge is where they shot it. You can ski there year round too, summer ski as well as winter. Maybe do a shoot laying on rose petals or something as Portland is the city of roses. You need to go there in the Summer as lots of cool waterfalls around and the Oregon Coast is great too. Just a huge recreational area. Hope you have fun!

Wicked awesome, Ms D, with your forensics class exam! I started off as a bio major, but the math really kicked me in the backside! Plus the first class I took was the botany section of "Bio 101" and that bored me (I have a better feel for plants now).

I just restored the other day--and for what its worth, I don't think its exactly staker-ish to check someone out first--makes sense to know as much beforehand nowadays, maybe even more so with your line of work (too many people might think that you're something or someone you're not based on prejudice or stereotype). Then again, had Facebook not irked me with their photo policy back & forth, I might not have even given it a look in months (for that matter, my visit to my MyS page a few days back was the 1st time I'd been there this year.

I also read the interview with Girl Next Door online and thought it was really honest. I'm glad you were able to confide in your sister, and suspect that, as your mom and I are the same age, she'll first be anxious, more than angry, since we grew up post-sexual revolution (whoo, Gen-X), and considering how you first learned of porn, how could she be critical (don't want to give away the ending). In other words, and in my experience, we Gen-Xers are less inclined towards hypocrisy, so when the shock wears off (and I'm not sure how shocked she'd really be--she knows you're assisting, and I assume she has a computer handy, so she may be waiting for you to feel comfortable to open up with her), I'd be surprised if while she might not be comfortable with what you're doing, she might be okay with it because it does seem to make you happy, and you are back in school, and so on. Knowledge is power, and power leads to security, so the more you know, the more power you have and the more secure you feel, and I'd imagine that when you do open up with her, and she learns more, the more at ease she'll feel. Then again, I'm not your mom, so all I can do is try and imagine how I'd feel if I were in a similar position, and this is coming months after first meeting you here, and that after researching Rob and FTV for nearly a year before I even joined. Anyway, I liked the interview very much.

The movie sounds like it was fun--I watched a preview and like the cast & premise but will probably have to wait to see it on TV next year, maybe 2011!

Really, seriously wicked cool re: the exam!

Plus I mean come on...it seems kind of hypocritical to me that she's 20 years old, got married to someone she knew for only a few months, and is now a mother. Not only that but she's definitely done some unsavory thing in the past that would make porn look like bible school (wonder if that made any sense.)

Doesn't make sense at all. Maybe if you were specific in the debauchery your sister has done it would help. Videos, pictures, or a slideshow would help. I'll settle for shadow puppets.

I hope the test went well, I'm sure you did better than you thought!

That was pretty inappropriate of your sister to act that way in front of Rob and the model he was interviewing. No matter what her feelings about "porn" are, she should have kept them to herself until you and her were alone. At the very least she should have simply gotten up and excused herself if she was that uncomfortable. By making a scene, she made you look bad and put you in an embarassing spot. I'm sure you wanted to crawl under the table and hide!! I'd be horrified if one of my relatives came to my job and did that.

Hopefully she'll come around and apologize.

It is usually not a good idea to have relatives at your place or work (other than spouses). In this case she was probably ok with the concept, but being confronted with the reality of it brought out something deeper.

My guess... she is actually jealous because when she did wild things, she caused grief but you do what you do for a living and nobody says anything... of course, nobody else in your family knows still, right? But i have to agree with others that it was maybe not the best thing to bring your sister to work with you!

Personally, sex is sex, everyone does it and it is a natural thing and yet they get so mad when sexual things are talked about or shown in front of them, I think it is really funny how uptight people can be about sex.

Oh well, lesson learned right?

Honestly I think it's an American thing. I mean most Europeans aren't as uptight about sex and nudity as Americans are. But yeah I won't be taking my sis to work anymore. And nope nobody else in my family knows yet...still waiting for the right time. The last thing I want is to stress my mom out even more (she's worrying about the upcoming marriage and having her daughter and grandchild living in the same house).

As far as bringing family to where you work. There are companies who has a "bring your kid to work" day of course it doesn't involve adult entertainment companies. It would be a odd thing to do if some porn star or director brought their kid on the set and say this is what I do for a living...Your sister didn't have any right to do that in front of your boss and a model. She should have just left and told you later in private that she wasn't comfortable with it.Do love being an American and living in the States, but do hate that we as a nation are backwards as far as sex and nudity is concern.

Its true that parts of Mexico is bad for Americans to travel to,but think it just mainly the "non Tourist" places.Think its pretty much safe at the Resorts, but still have to be careful anywhere you travel including nicer resort areas. There have been stories in the news where pretty young women have disappeared and end up found dead months later or never heard from again. The latter part most likely cause they were kidnapped and sold into slaving in another country.Sorry for painting should a bleak outllok on traveling in some foreign countries. You can't be too careful and take things for granted just cause you're in a nice resort....if you feel the need to go clubing..always go together with friends and never alone....and don't allow yourself to get into a "fun" one night stand with a hottie you just met...you may never know that the Hottie could be there to lure the girls away.
Ok..sorry one last thing and I'll drop it.....NEVER and I mean NEVER leave the drinks at your table unattended while taking a bathroom break...thats a perfect time for someone to walk by and slip a date rape drug in your drinks...
Sorry again...do have fun during spring break,But Please be extra careful....your fans would very heartbroken if something had happen to you.

No one gets a perfect score on a test--I know from experience, and I'm sure in his undergrad days, Rob botched an exam, too. You chalk it up to experience, and learn from it. You may have failed the academic part of the test, but its what you do with it when you apply that failure to the rest of your life that matters here, so study and do better next time :)

About Mexico, I'd be disinclined to head south of the border. Even a place like Aruba with its close connections to the Netherlands isn't a place I'd be happy to let my nieces go to (I do wonder if the Aruban or Dutch authorities would have put more emphasis on Ms Holloway's disappearance had they known that she is/was a relative of Teddy Roosevelt?). I'd be especially disinclined to approve of a trip south of the order for a young blonde woman with, ahem, ample virtues, but as I've never been south of the border myself, I can't really speak from experience, and what I do know from reports actually has a lot more to do with TJ than along the AZ or TX border or from Cabo or Yucatan. But Texasdrake made a very, very (VERY) good point about never leaving your drink, soft or alcohol, unattended. For that matter, you shouldn't do that here, either--plenty of date rapes or acquaintance rapes happen off campus among students.

And as far as the whole taking your family to work thing goes, well, you run the gambit from Mike and Shelby Hodges, who screen their daughter's non-sex scenes and give her feedback, to what a distant relative of mine did (who is in the business) founding Parents in Adult, to to what you encountered with your sister where academia hit reality. Its not always easy to know how you're going to react to something until you actually see it for real. To be honest, I've been thinking about how I'd react were I in either of your places, and I'm not sure, but I know either way I'd be anxious, on the one hand about being judged, betrayed or ostracized, and on the other hand about someone I care for maybe being exploited, hurt mentally or physically or, again, being judged by others who don't know the whole story. Knowledge is power, but sometimes the difference between what you know, or what you think you know, and what's really going on can be a big shock as I assume it was for both of you. So taking a break from each other for a while isn't so bad, and when you two are ready to talk (or not) you can. Que sera sera, whatever will be, will be.

44%-hope she said she'd grade it on a curve. Did you tahe a test where you have to identify all different types of rocks? All I remember from mine is that one of the rocks had a salty taste and licking it was the way to figure it out. Can't remember what it was though.

I log on and read ALL of the "new posts" several times a day along with getting emails whenever someone posts something. As far as I can remember, the ONLY member to hint at Danielle's weight is "Kennyhello." If you look at his profile, he is, supposedly, 21 years old. I'm guessing he's not very "socialized" and doesn't know HOW to talk to a woman.

Don't let this one guy ruin your day, Danielle. FEEL the "love" from all the rest of us and forget the rare stupid comment by someone too young to know what he's saying.

I'm not sure if she grades on a curve or not. And yep...we did take that test in Geo lab. Our Geo lecture tests are a lot different and a lot harder. Halite is the salty one....but I didn't actually taste it. I only know the difference because Halite and Calcite are the only two minerals that look the same and Calcite reacts with acid.

Sounds like you had an exceptional time, Ms D (until trying to come back across the border). I've never been south of the border, and the closest I've gotten to going out of the US has either been going through the Pomo Res in N. Calif., or skirting the Pine Ridge Res (I'm not 100% sure if we went in or not). I do have to admit I miss Guinness, especially on Paddy's day (he was Scottish, BTW, not Irish--he was from Kilpatrick near Glasgow and kidnapped & taken to Eire by a fellow named Niall--ancestor of the O'Neills and O'Donnells). I also miss Merlot, Pinot Noir and Tanqueray and tonic (or Bombay Sapphire!). And so what if you're a bit of a naturist at heart--I've heard of worse! Actually, I admire people who are comfortable in their own skins and don't put on airs--the world would be a much nicer place, me thinks, if more people were as open and honest as you! Anyway, glad you're home safe & sound, really happy you had what sounds like a fantastic time, and best wishes on those exams. And so you're going to have some April showers, okay, but you know what April Showers bring? May flowers, just in time for your 21st! Who-hoo, and so what if some Pilgrims crash your party--could be worse--could be a bunch of Puritans (at least the Pilgrims had a healthier, more well-adjusted way of looking at sex!). Cheerio :)

I was also right up there in the VIP with them flashing my boobs around. But I'm pretty used to nudity, so it's not unusual for me. What was funny was that later on I was talking to some of my male friends about me flashing myself. They were telling me that if their girlfriends were to do the same thing they would be upset. It definitely got me to thinking though, because I'm so used to nudity and have been even before I started in this industry. It always confuses me when people get upset by it...

I can't imagine a guy not being pissed about his girlfriend flashing other people at the clubs. There would be many reasons why with jealousy being at the top. Then you have to deal with all the guys coming up to your girl and you wonder if that's why she did it. Just ruins the night and a fight(verbal) with the g/f will follow.

So the fear of discovery is over--that's good. Now you and your mom, and the rest of your family, can move on. She's probably going to be anxious, so keep talking to her--offer a little info, let her ask a few questions (although I imagine you've already done a bit of that already). And you know that despite your disagreement with your sister, she is still someone who will keep your confidences, and that's not so bad. Anyway, I do hope that you and your family do manage to find a happy ground where you can all live--seems to me that the biggest problems occur when families split apart, and not necessarily over porn. Its a kinda a less coherent answer than I'd like to give (beyond thank goodness its out in the open, and I'm sure you and your mom will not drift apart if you two don;t allow it)--all I can do is try to imagine what I'd feel like from both your perspectives if I were in the same or similar circumstances and then try to empathize.

With school, let me just say BOO-YEAH! I admit I was worried (a bit) when I saw your course load and with the amount of time you spend working not just here on this site but also your freelance work, and was seriously worried about you getting back in the groove of things with school, but let me just say here and now that I for one should never have doubted you, and that I am very, very proud of what you've accomplished balancing work, school and your new friends--big time super happy for you, Ms D!:D

I think it's one big load off your shoulders with your Mom knowing about your modelling and such. I think what you just have to continue to reinforce to your Mom is how happy you are with having everything that you have accomplished so far. And it's alot! I think when your Mom continues to realize just how happy you are I'm sure she will come around more and understand more your choices.
Also nice to hear that your sis was able to keep some of your confidence and secrets.

In regards to your stepfather, just remember that it will be ackward for him too, not just you. I'm sure he will feel just as ackward around you as you around him.

No need to worry, Ms D, about not being here as often as once upon a time. I have to admit, I haven't been here as much as I was when we first started, and like I mentioned to you before, I miss those early days (and friends' departed). I think the vast majority of us can understand that you are just one person with a lot of responsibilities--work (both for the site and Rob as well as freelance work), school, family and so on. Okay, so maybe you aren't here quite as often as you were, you're still here quite a lot, and you do your best to keep that personal touch. I've read the messages each time you've done a webcam show, and frankly they are all glowing about just how open you are, and how much time you devote to them (makes me envious, but patience is a virtue, yadda yadda yadda). You do answer your questions, you do make video logs, you do put on those shows, you do keep the site updated very well, you do chat with us either via PM or on our pages and so on, so don't worry yourself about it. Do good in school, let us know what's up in your journal, stay close to your family and friends and all's good.

I rented for 13 years and when I did move all I had to show for 13 years of rent payments was $150 security depoist that I got back. I own my house now it is not much but it's mine. You're doing a great job of dealing with your responsibilities. Focus on what's most important, school, family...etc. If that means you can't post as much as before, it's alright. :)

Sorry you didn't make it up to Portland. I hope you're feeling better now.

I've read that the Phoenix area has one of the most depressed housing markets in the country right now. That's bad news for the folks selling homes, but potentially good news for you. You might want to consider taking the plunge and buying a home if you feel you can afford it. There are some serious bargains out there. Just be careful and don't get in over your head.

I am truly sorry that this has been a week of bad luck for you.

For the webcam session, it's no big deal. We were pretty content just chatting with you. You could just as easily have called the session off completely, we would have understood.

For the ER visit, I'd rather go there more than once with the result "all OK" than avoiding it and be struck with something severe. You're definitely not hypochondric in my eyes. From what I read about the migraine, the pulsing feeling in your veins could have been the prodomal phase of your migraine already.

The missed class and the math test are less important than your health, I think. I wouldn't be too worried about them. I'm sure you can catch up later on.

That the migraine hit you right on the date of the Phoenix Forum is bad, bad luck in deed. I know you looked forward to the Forum. Dragging yourself out to the Forum with the migraine still going on won't help it at all. What you need right now is a silent, dark room where you can relax and wait for the migraine attack to pass, just the opposite of what the Phoenix Forum has to offer, I think. I'm sure Lia and Tate would understand. I doubt anybody would think you flaked out. I'm just sorry about the missed opportunities of the Forum, but those fall minor to your health.

I wish I could do something to help you through the migraine right now, like surely most of your other fans do, too.
I hope you already feel better when you read this.

Hey D,

I hope you are feeling better by the time you read this. I noticed you also commented on Facebook and I left you a one line note of encouragement.

I read about all of the stuff you are trying to do and it would give ME a migraine, as well. You are just buried under so many responsibilities and I don't think anyone could keep up with your schedule. Maybe you have to have a deep conversation with yourself and put your priorities in order.

Definitely, school IS important. If it means less updates here and not replying to PMs, so be it. I doubt that you are making any serious money here, with memberships, anyway. You have about 800-900 forum members but how many really pay the fee to join your pay site? Do what is best for YOU. Try to relax and find time to "just be!" No one wants you to be sick nor unhappy. Just realize you can only do so much and stay within your own limits.:)

Danielle,
Sorry your not feeling well. I hope you're better soon. The webcam was very enjoyable. You shouldn't feel that you have to perform for us every time. I find it just as enjoyable chatting with you. Judging from the other comments I've read, I'm not alone in that.

I don't get migranes often but I've had a few in my life and they can be absolutely debilitating. I wouldn't wish those on my worst enemy! Please don't worry about missing a class or two, or that someone will think you're a hypochondriac for going to the ER. Better to go and find out there's nothing wrong than to not go and end up seriously ill.

Don't stress yourself out about everything you "need" to do. Your health should come before everything else

Get well soon Sweetie! :)

Its spring, the cactus are in bloom (I assume), the weather's changed a bit (I assume in in Phoenix), you're working real hard, so getting a bit under the weather's maybe not such a big a deal. Just try to schedule a little more Danielle time and get some rest, put down the books for a few hours, stay off the laptop (no website), and just catch a few z's or go for a walk around the neighborhood. Sure you have responsibilities and so on, but they wind up suffering when you're not in the right frame of mind for them or are overstressed--even 20 minutes of yoga, pilates or tai-chi might help you just to shake out the sillies, stretch out those muscles and breath out some of those worries.

The bash at the Forum sounds like it was a lot of fun for you (glad you're feeling better now). The photos you linked to look like you (and everyone else there) had a blast and a half. I really do love seeing and everyone else just letting go and enjoying life! Anyway, big cheers to you! :D

Twitter's fun in a bemusing, don't take yourself too seriously sort of way I think. 36 hours a member and I keep going there--gotta make a comment about stupid stuff now & again, just to be stupid for stupid's sake. Its a better news feed for me with 1-stop shopping for media, too.

Neat to see a new journal entry, too, BTW. Missed hearing about your life beyond the board--thanks for that! Never went to a rave--did like slam dancing once upon a time to Sex Pistols, The Clash, but that was in the dark ages.

Since you mentioned your b'day, and since I know you mentioned somewhere else that your measurements changed maybe you could re-post them now? Not saying I'm getting you clothing (I haven't figured out what sweet nothing to send yet), but I assume there are some out there who will and you most definitely want whatever they send to fit properly, no?

Have an fun day!

Interesting quiz results Danielle.
I would agree with their conclusions too, and you're a much better "talker" than you give yourself credit for. I know, because I feel that way about myself sometimes.

Do you have the link to that quiz? I'd like to take it.

I can't believe that Model Mayhem dropped you! That's just plain stupid!!! Why would a site that shows nudity have an issue with that movie? (NOW I have a reason to see it :)) I also hate that they don't let us, the general public, view most of the photos anymore. You have to be a "member" to see them. That sucks too!

If you get to read this have fun at Celtic Woman tonight!!! I'd love to see them if / when they come to this area.

Well, there are full blown porn stars on their site (Faye Reagan for example), so that probably wasn't their concern. Most likely they don't want you listing or mentioning anything of an adult nature you might have done, and don't want link-backs (another big no-no for public sites like that).

If your gonna have roommates in your new place Danielle. Choose them very carefully for tidyness and clumsyness lol. I had a few mates living with me for awhile and i've never had so many things broke or lost and i'd still have them lads back anytime lol.:D

CK1
05-01-2009, 10:46 AM
Mart is right. if you are organized and very clean and your roommate is not, it can place a lot of stress and possibly end a friendship. i am the guy that would eat and then wash his dishes after he was done. my roommmate would always "get to it later" and would not wash until there were no plates, utensils left (something i found out when i came back from vacation) and i ended up doing it myself. best thing to do is make a list of rules for the house and everyone has to agree to it before hand. things like having guests over, parties, etc... those all become major issues under the right/wrong circumstances. you wake up in the morning, expect to only see your roommates and there is someones "guest" standing in your kitchen drinking juice our of the container and scares the $*#& out of you. something to think about.

danielle_ftv
05-01-2009, 08:27 PM
I like that idea...having a list of rules is perfect. I kind of already have an idea of who I would like to have as my room mates but we are all still kind of discussing it.

its great if you are all students because you have the similar schedules... its bad if you all have different lifestyles. if you have one person that is the party animal and has people everyday and you have another one that studies all the time... well, all heck breaks loose. that is why you have to establish the rules you want so that you don't have problems later on. sometimes friendships are lost this way... when i simple and honest conversation could have prevented everything. also, if something bugs you... deal with it RIGHT THEN AND THERE. because if you say nothing, they will think that you don't care or approve and then later will wonder why you are getting upset.

Well done on the geology lab. I am really pleased for you that what with all the balls you're juggling you have been so diligent about school--fat lot of good all this would be, if in the end you didn't wind up where you want to be, huh? I am sure you will do very well with all your classes, Ms D--you really seem to be one who thrives on challenges!

Its funny, but I come from the gen of slam dances, mosh pits & raves, but the thing I remember best was from the 1st Dead concert I went to at Shoreline in Mountain View CA back in the late 80s and, along with the expected hippie coloured VW buses that should have been relegated to scrap yards, there was this gold Mercedes with a flashy gold Steal Your Face logo in the window. Always seemed incongruous to me at a hippie freak-fest, but takes all sorts. Sorry you missed out of the rave, though, but I imagine you'll have other chances ('course you could always come up this way and pay a visit to Burning Man the end of Aug/beginning of Sept, although school might be back in session by then ...).

With the roommates situation, all the best things that could been said have been said, so just go in with eyes open, check references, and make sure everyone knows the rules of the house. The last things you need are A. to get evicted and B. to wind up on The People's Court.

So, cheers for now, Ms D, and best with everything! :)

It's good to hear you're well. I was starting to worry ... :o

It's probably a good idea to let people send their mail to Rob's house, even though he might be allways out on the run, shooting for FTV.

Thanks for the offer to send back autographed photos. I may come up to that offer. I'll try to get one personally, though, to spare you the expenses. ;)

Too bad they removed your profile from Facebook - for them. It's their loss.
If MySpace decided to delete your page there, I'd be gone the same instant. You're the reason I signed up there, anyway.

Now you can, hopefully, breathe a little easier with school over. The Electric Daisy Carnival sounds interesting--like an extended Dead show, I guess. Dead shows were long, just the Dead, divided into 2 parts--the more traditional rock show with an intermission that went into a more experimental, sometimes techno, sometimes world music type thing that was pretty cool. I think the intermission was there in part for the band to catch their breaths and water down their throats, and part so the heads could toke up (I used it to wander around and people watch). My bro went to the Family Values tours though, I think a couple years on (one had Staind with Fred Durst). One of the Dead shows I went to wound up on a DVD a few years back, and I think one of the FVT shows my brother went to did, too.

Thanks for the heads' up about the change of address--I know that'll be useful to those devoted followers who I'm sure will continue to send you things. By the way, did you ever get that card I sent you a month (maybe more) ago?

Hope you have a fantastic birthday, Ms D, just in case I'm not here again before (I'll try to be, but my time isn't my own anymore) and a really great summer! :)

Echoing what's been said before, go carefully with the diet pills.

With the waxing, no comment save to say I wince at the merest thought of it.

Everything else, just take as it comes, and enjoy. In a way its good that you're wondering what you need to do to make the site better because it means you aren't falling into the trap of complacency and just resting on your laurels--that's one thing that sets you apart from a lot of the other sites I think. You've brought you own style to the 'net, you're making a name for yourself fast, and you've managed to balance the site and all the works that goes into it with friends, family and school--not easy! So for ten weeks or so the site, maybe just the board here since I know you've kept up with the webcam shows and photo and video shoots, had to take a back-seat, but the folks here kept it nice and warm for you.

And just in case I'm not back before Fri (or you're too hung over in LV), Happy Birthday, Ms D and three cheers for you: Hip-hip-hoorah! Hip-hip-hoorah! Hip-hip-hooray! :)

Bronchitis isn't something to take lightly. I've had it many times, and found the more I ignored it (and what the doctor said), the worse I wound up and the longer it took to recover (now ain't that a humdinger?). One thing I used to do when I got it was to head off to the bath, put in the plug, but then use the shower to fill the tub & put a lot of warm mist in the air (like a walk-in humidifier). Speaking of which, you might want to invest a little on a warm air humidifier for your bedroom-my mom has had many, many bouts of bronchitis and sinusitis and found one helpful in the extreme (especially living in a desert environment, too). Anyway, take it easy and let your body heal. :)

Hey "D".

Glad to hear you finally know what was wrong with yourself. About your latest journal post: last time I checked, the sleeping meds were meant to keep you resting as long as possible, not going to a party, no matter the "invite-only", or that you haven't seen your buddy in a while, or whatever else. I had at least 2 bouts of bronchitis, trust me, you DO NOT want to take any unnecessary efforts. Please. And another suggestion: lots of hot water and chicken soup (and ALL the sleep you can get) help; if you can get some eucalyptus leaves, the infusion of 4 in a gallon of water may be useful as well. 2 cents from a guy who is immune to virtually anything but respiratory issues.

Of course having said that I'm also aware that many times when we see flaws in ourselves and focus on them, they become an obsession. I am sure Dallas is a lovely young gentlewoman and, whether or not she goes ahead with the surgery, I hope she likes and appreciates herself and can see herself through the eyes of trusted friends & family.

Second, I can empathize with the book situation. I have boxes upon boxes of books here, a lot left over from my college days. I was one of those people who rarely sold their text books back at the end of the semester, and have always had a love of the written word (no freakin' duh!). The majority of my books are either history or anthropology (tons of Native American enthographs). A couple atlases, some geography books, a couple shelves devoted to genealogy (3 copies of Burke's Peerage, the oldest ca 1842). The only way I might be able to put them all out would be to line the rest of my walls with bookshelves and that's just not possible (how'd I get into my closet or where'd I put my bed, desk & TV?). Then again I used to live in the library-no place cooler (I mean temp-wise). Heck, when I was around 11 or 12 I had a library card to the Michener Library at the University of Northern Colorado! That was a wicked-***-cool library!

Never had a family reunion per se, at least one I've been invited to. I've only met my 1st cousins a few times in my life, haven't spoken to my aunts or years, only met my uncle (Mom's bro) once and spoken to him I think twice. Dad's brother & their parents died years ago. I know names and the like, but I'm without doubt the family blacksheep-maybe why I wound up being the "family historian" too? Still, if you get to go, have fun.

And lastly glad you're feeling better, Ms D! Stay healthy & happy. "Be the willow, grasshopper, and bend with the wind, not the proud oak that falls" paraphrasing Kung-Fu there ...paz! :D

You mention in your August 8th entry that you were getting your hair done again.I would love if you would have it all natural color.Remebered seeing your picture at 15 and guessing the darker hair was 100 percent natural.Would love seeing it that way for a while. :)

Actually I'm a natural blonde. I started dying my hair black when I was 13 and did that until about 19. I probably won't go darker again since that means I will have to start the whole lightening process over when I decide I want it lighter. I will probably end up doing a shoot with a wig (one as realistic as I can find though.)

A most dark day ...chinchillas raped my Great-grandma's dog (alright, I admit, she was a *****). To this day my familia speaks in hushed tones of dia de las chincillas, aka Chinchilli Day. Whelp, whatcha gonna do but pay your respects by playing craps, one-armed bandits or blackjack?

Guessing you started dying your hair black at that age was to avoid confusing people who think Blondes really are dumb due to them hearing way too many dumb blonde jokes. With your intelligent you're far from being the "Dumb Blonde". :D

Impressive! A lot of work to gather all those questions together. I realize that answering the same questions over and over gets annoying, but as new members come along they want to have some connection with you otherwise they wouldn't be here. And asking questions is the only way they can do that. You've been very tolerant in the past, and I hope you will continue to be in the future with we more recent members of the Danielle Adoration Society.

Hi Innocent and Beautiful Danielle. but these two words can't express these are to small to express what you are.
It really hurts danielle when see you naked and also when every one is watching you. because i never have this type of thnking about a model but talking of you, you are different. you are better than this. i know i haven't any any right, and i myself nothing to say or advice you. but if possible leave this and do something else. the other which would be better than this.

Well i've never seen a scorpion in real life either. They look nasty and i guess some are nasty and i don't think i'd ever want to see one in real life. Danielle please be careful and take no chances, which i'm sure you are doing i hope. Are there people you could call in to do deal with these creatures?.

Danielle,
From what you described, vibration while braking, I believe your front brake rotors are warped. In case you don't know, the rotors are the discs behind the wheels that the brakes grab when you stop. Typically, on most new cars, these are only held on by the wheels. Sometimes when shops install tires, they will not tighten all of the lug nuts to the same torque, so some are tighter than others. This, along with the heating and cooling from braking, will cause the rotors to warp and make the brakes vibrate when stopping. The reason the shop didn't mention this is it's difficult to see during a visual inspection and actually has to be measured.

Most interesting to read where your fetishes lay. I do recall the handcuffs from your tour of your toy chest you posted a year or so ago. I would imagine part is the focusing on the sensations as they occur, but doing so when you're bound is another thing entirely. I haven't played D/s before myself, but I imagine while bound you've surrendered yourself to the moment, even though if you're playing safe--and playing is a key word here, safe is the other one--you, though handcuffed or whatever are really the one in control with a safe word to use to end a session when it gets too extreme. Its good you're doing this with someone you trust, namely Ms Dallas. There might be something to the idea that by being making the decision to be tied up (or down, or whatever) that you are relinquishing control (safe word not included) and that the experience is "out of your hands" so all you can do (want to do?) is relax and let the experience wash over & through you. Maybe that's too metaphysical, maybe not. It might make some folks feel icky, but none of us matter--its how you feel and if this is what you need/want to explore, do it in your own way and in your own time with someone you trust. I didn't judge Ms Zeba when she worked for Kink, so I'm in no way going to judge you for pushing your own boundaries and trying bondage, or expanding on your fantasies. Remember, when we were kids we played with each other, cops & robbers, cowboys & Indians, then started playing doctor with each other. Sex is play for adults, role-playing, bondage (which is in its way a form of role-play), whatever fetish or niche strikes your fantasy should be okay if its what you're into, at least for the moment. Better to try, I imagine, and find out if you like or not than to be ashamed or afraid to play, no? Somehow, when you mentioned being into porntoons I had a feeling that you'd wind up playing in this realm... Paz, Ms D! Have a greeeaaaat day! (to quote Tony the Tiger) :p

OK. Gotta say this. Danielle, sweetie, you have just exactly described my biggest sexual fantasy. I looooove to get rough and be the restrainer (for whick, to lack of actual bondages, I use the woman's own clothes, my weight and strenght... oops I said too much:D). How much is a plane trip from Lima to Scottsdale? I'd be most honored to help you with your submission fetish.

I'm sorry to hear you couldn't enjoy your favorite holiday to the fullest due to your sickness. I hope you had some fun inspite of it.
I've got the feeling Santa might bring something (http://www.weathershack.com/la-crosse-technology/wd-3303u.html) to avoid more temperature surprises like the one on 'Pumpkin Carving Day'. ;)

I hope you were able to snap a photo of the Marie Antoinette costume. Your description sounds quite interesting.

I'm sorry for you ex brother in law. I guess he is still overseas on duty, isn't he? Those oversea assignments might put a dampening on quite a lot of relationships. Divorce and new mariage within a week is ... surprisingly fast.

He actually isn't on tour anymore. He had to come back because of some injury (though not due to the war itself). And yeah a divorce and marriage within a week is REALLY fast. But hey, whatever makes my sister happy. I just hope it works out for her this time.

If you don't want to gamble, don't. That's all I have to say on that. With the game, I'm with you. I'm not big on crowds, and I still think of the Cardies as a St. Louis team which probably tells you something (ask me about playing rugby, or soccer, or competitive swimming, even diving). Then again, some guys were playing cricket at the park down the street a few (maybe more like 8) weeks back and I sat there and watched for a long while. When they broke up for the day I asked one who won. He said cricket games can go on for days, so check back with them next week or the week after.

I had no idea that your sis and her new hubby had moved so far from you. That must be a heart ache for your mom (for you, too). I can't imagine living far from my nieces. The furthest away I lived from them was 4 or 5 hours away and that was a big strain on me.

And I look forward to catching up on all your adventures when I join your site (patience is a virtue... that's a reminder to me), and much as I do love the public shoots, I have to admit that I sit with baited breath and heart pounding lest you are caught by the local constabulary (i.e., get nicked with your knickers down!).

Safe travels, as always, Ms D!

I'm sorry that you're sick again. Maybe you should tune up the heat in your appartment a bit when you're back. It is possible that Gratch and Taquito were cuddling because they were cold, too. ;)

Seriously, I don't think it is good to sacrifice your health for the potentially better environment of your chinchillas. I bet it's not good for them if you're sick either.

I hope you'll get better very soon, so you can at least enjoy the AVN Awards next weekend.
