Today Tigger and Jeromy saved a mans life from a burning truck! We were on I77 in WV. and climbing a hill a pickup puling a trailer in front of us cought fire. We are not hauling exlposives so we stoped and tryed to put it out 4 fire exte. and we could not get it out. and the old man was still in the truck and Tigger was trying to get him to unlock the door so he could get him out and he would not so Jeromy used a slap stick and broke the window and they got the man out of the truck just as it was starting to burn. The fire dept showed up and got it out. the local news showed up and talked with Tigger and Jeromy . if the article comes up where i can get a copy i will post it. im going to post some photos we took. This first one i pulled off of the dash cam on Tiggers truck, Tigger and Jeromy were at the truck trying to get the man out then this photo was taken. the guy from dot had just gotten there.

Jeromy, David and I just got done with a 24hr training class this past weekend. and training kinda took over in this one. We are trained to deal with emergencys. The one thing that pissed me off is all the people who just stood there. We were on there as it happened and it took a min to get our stuff and get to the fire. there was some guy taking a photo of the old man in his truck with it burning, didnt try to help one bit just wanted to get his dam photo of a man about to die. David grabed the guy and draged him out of the way as soon as Jeromy and I got there to the truck. The old man was confused and didnt know what was going on. Another 30sec. and the fire would have ben inside the cab. the rest of the team got traffic stopped and kept the people away so it was a team effort, Jeromy and I just happened to be the 2 trained medics and fire fighters on the team. Every member on the team has there spacific job in a emergency and they all did there job like clock work. Im just glad we were able to get the man out with only a few scratches and some smoke inhalation. the only funny thing to come out of this is we had him sitting in the side of the van gving him some o2 and he said where is my wife, Oh Jeromy and I looked at each other thinking she was in the truck. Turns out he was behind her and she just kept going not realising anything had happened. the state police cought up with her about 20 miles up the road and got her turned around, she was in tears when she got there and th old man looked at her and said " you dumb ***** dont yoiu ever look behind you" but then they boalth started crying and hugging. the main thing is every one is ok. Things can be replaced a life can not!
