Hi Danielle, Rob & Co.

I was wondering if you guys might modify your sight to get paid via PayPal or Google Pay?

If so, why not? Have you had problems with that in the past? Upsides/downsides?

Just thought I'd pose this question.

I think the reason why is cos she use's a 3rd party company to handle the payments for the site the company is ccbill/ (http://www.ccbill.com/) as this company only offers Credit Card payment I guess this is the reason why there is no option to make payment via PayPal or Google Pay.

That's the reason. Are there even any adult websites that offer check out through Google Checkout or PayPal?

I don't think there are. Maybe it's because PayPal and Google want to avoid the association.

I think you're right on the money. I just wanted to check out my assumption. To me, money is money. They'll make. The folks running the websites will make it. All will be happy. It's not like anyone is being hurt by the situation. Thanks for the response.

And then there's also the annoying age verification thing.

If I'm not mistaken, both PayPal and Google Wallet can be used by minors.

Yeah, but PayPal requires a verified Credit Card on file. You have to be 18 to obtain a credit card, I thought.

parents can always ask for extra cards and make other family members (including kids) authorized users. plus, whats not to say that junior "borrows" the card just to have the account verified.

So what's the difference of them signing up with CC Bill? would be my only argument.

CCBill gives out instant Username & Password to the sites (or at least they offer tools to let them automatically be created), handles the automatic re-billing, account lifespan etc.
I doubt the other two mentioned payment methods offer that.

I tried to use CCBIll or whatever it's called. Spent an uncomfortable ten minutes in the bank in an open office while they looked at the form, looked at me, tapped a few keys and eventually said they could only do it "manually" and it would cost me. I won't do that again. Nooo..thanks.

I have to agree with Anoree, CCbill does offer some services geared toward a site that other payment methods simply do not offer.

I guess he's been talking about the EU Debit payment method.
I have never used that, so I don't know exactly, but it might require a visit to the bank to transfer the money. Personally, I'd consider that the last resort if all the other payment options can't be used.

Yes, that's right the CCBill method for us poor souls across the pond. i thought that was clear enough.

You know, I'm across the pond, too. I've never had problems with CCBill. I do use my Credit Card, though.

Unfortunately not all payment methods offered can be used in all countries. In this case, I'd suggest to get a (possibly prepaid) Credit Card.

Are prepaid cards allowed? For some reason I thought they weren't...but if they are that would be cool. Maybe more people would join because of it.

They are allowed in Europe at least. And why not? I think they're an effective protection against Credit Card fraud. The bad guys could only get the money on account, not more. It's also an effective way to keep one self in check, if needed.

I use a classic cc, though. Lately I wonder if I should switch.
