I know Alison has a site eventhough she is now retired and Lia has a site, dont know if thats still actively updated. I was curious what other FTV Girls have spun off their own sites.

Besides Lia and Alison and Danielle, Rob has also created sites for Alexa, Jezebele, and Fiona. Here are their URLS. There might be more but Rob would have to answer that.

Hi Ask!
You are welcome! Since a few forum members listed FTV models and their "real names" I've spent hours googling them and comparing their more "hard core" material with their FTV photos and videos. I am actually disillusioned. I THOUGHT most of the FTV models were the "girl next door" and ONLY shot for FTV. Boy, was I wrong. Some of these girls are HARDCORE! Before, and more often, after, their FTV shoots. Whenever I find one with a Myspace or Facebook profile, I add them to my favorites for future reference.

I'd say 90% of the first timer types on FTV end up going to do more softcore with other sites, then evenually ending up with doing hardcore a few months later.
The few superexclusive girls like Alexa, Alexaloren, Lia, Alison, Leslie, Samantha etc... are rare in that they don't end up shooting for anyone else.

That's the nature of this line of work, always has been, always will be. Some gentlewomen may see what Rob offers as a trial run to see if this is something they can do. The money versus time ratio is very appealing, if nothing else. Some do it for kicks, some because they aren't ashamed, some because they need money quick, some look at this as a viable career, and some as means to an end. This is mild fare for the most part, a way for a gentlewoman to test the waters. If she likes it, she may try something more, something more hardcore. She may not. She may decide that she feels most comfortable working for Rob or some other producer-photographer, or dancing, or as an artist's model at some college or university. I'm making absolutely no judgments, mind you, about any of this. To each her or his own, I say, and as long as no one gets hurt, whose to say boo about it?
Back a decade and more ago, I worked with this lovely young woman. We worked for a nation-wide retailer, both of us trying to balance work, school & a personal life. She also worked part-time at a local bar. I had to quit school a couple times to work full-time to build up a reserve for the years I was in school; she was struggling to make things work, and taking more than the usual 4 years to get her BA. Then she quit one day. A few months later, I saw her on campus and we chatted. Turned out she had finally had it, bit the bullet, and done something I for one never expected--she was dancing at a club in San Francisco. By giving up her weekends to dance, she had opened up a lot of time during the week for school, was finally closing in on that coveted degree (and was even looking at going on for an advanced degree), and was all in all looking less stressed. She was (and I'm sure still is) a beautiful woman, but what a brain! I remember a commercial when I was a kid that went something like "A mind's a terrible thing to waste" or maybe it was a certain former VPOTUS who said "A mind's a terrible thing to lose!" (case in point, yours truly!). In one weekend, she was bringing in as much money in tips as the made working two jobs each week. She finished her degree, got her bachelor's, and moved on. From what I understand, that's not an entirely uncommon story, particularly with the amount of money a woman can make for doing something on film that she might do in private for free. (BTW, it isn't the act that's being paid for, but rather the time and ability to record a performance, thus performance art.).
With that in mind, I knew a "girl next door" who performed sans apparel to make a living. The last time I saw her, she was still the same girl I knew when we worked together & passed in our alma mater's corridors. She didn't go on to perform, so far as I know, in any movies, soft or hardcore, but even if she had (she was over 18, a capable, intelligent woman able to think things out and weigh the pros and cons of her actions), I'd still have the same opinion of her as I left with. Now, having said all that, there are some things that people do that do give me the willies, I admit it, and so I take what both Geezer & Rob both said to heart and will probably wind up mulling it all over (yet again) in my mind for the rest of the day. From what I understand, Rob does try to work with gentlewomen brand new to this entire genre with nothing else on their resumes, and considering he's almost a single-person-outfit doing virtually all of the shooting (still & video), editing/processing, writing to HTML, &c., I'm sure it takes him weeks if not months to get some updates online at FTVGirls after they were shot, and in the meantime, some of those gentlewomen who were brand new when he worked with them have done scenes for other outfits that have a faster turn-over rate, so a newbie when Rob worked with her may have already made a name for herself elsewhere.
What does upset me, though, is how some gentlewomen are portrayed in those other productions, as opposed to the way Rob treats them, and I'm not saying they necessarily treat the women poorly, but rather that they do things so cheaply with such high turn over that all they see is the money-shot, not the woman who becomes little more than a prop. That's what gets to me. If you're going to produce something, make it worthwhile, not just for a fast buck. If you're going to hire the girl next door, treat her with the same respect you'd want to get yourself. For me, even when a "hot" shoot is done in a rich setting, it can still be leave me cold. One thing I appreciate about Danielle's site as well as FTVGirls is that Rob's style is very personable, very warm & very friendly. That's what works for me, whether the gentlewoman in question is a fresh-faced girl from the Midwest, a sophisticated woman from NYC or Philly, a flirty southern belle, a beach chick from sunny SoCal or SoBe, or a hippe-chick from the Pac NW. And even when Rob's worked with known "porn stars", you see a side here that is buried under all that stereotype you get at those other sites or in those other DVDs.

My Goodness, Geolarson2! That was, to say the least, a marvelous essay! I can't help but agree with many of your points.
Before I found FTV, I had about forty "adult web sites" bookmarked and, when I was bored, would bounce from one to another. But, once I became a member of Alison's site, shared some personal emails with her, then moved over to FTV where I also exchanged personal messages with Rob, I became a huge fan. Heck, if even if FTV didn't exist, I think Rob is one cool guy!
It is rare, these days, for me to look at any other site BUT FTV and, now, Danielle's. I deleted all but a couple of the bookmarked sites and have little interest in discovering any new ones. I challenge anyone to find a site like FTV where they can email with the site's owner and get personal replies within a day or two. And, show me ANY site where a super hot model creates a video log just to wish you a happy birthday or to say "get well." It just doesn't happen!:D Not for any amount of money. And, hard to believe, THIS site is FREE!

Yeah, I know. In person, at parties, I'm the guy in the corner listening (that's listening, not talking) to the potted plants, even more so in recent years with a new stutter that pops up every now and again (really irks me). In person in with one or two others, I can sometimes hold my own, but more than that and I just shut down. Writing's the one way I'm even half-way decent at communicating, but even then I have problems nowadays getting what I think into words, or getting the words in the right order. :o

Thanks kindly, Geezer, for the words. I have a lot of time to think but sometimes not quite the time or energy to actually make a coherent sentence out of it all. Heck, I got lost a couple times writing that little thing, it took about an hour and then I want back and had to edit it a couple times because I realized I hadn't even finished some sentences. And like you, I deleted virtually everything once I joined FTV (and haven't been anywhere else since), and am grateful every day to Rob not only for the work he puts in there, but also for pointing me over in this direction. (More importantly, perhaps, I'm grateful to each and every one of those gentlewomen who has consented to Rob's photography and participate with this art-form, and that includes Ms D of course.) I'd been dismissive of virtual communities up until Danielle's board here; now I actually feel a bit more humble thanks not only to her but also to the rest of you! Thanks for the indulgence, all!

I couldn't agree more. That's what makes the FTV sites so Damn special. I also have gotten rid of many bookmarked items I used to have.

Indeed happy that those few true and original girls have worked only for FTVGirls.
I am very happy for the my preferred Alison that has done only in FTVGirls.:)
Because Rob has made of those special girls that their site has had an original rarity of its FTV that they have remained in the respect of their employer Rob.
Nice Job, Rob !!!!:)
