I would have to agree with Natal, I don't think adding a few more accounts to the message board is gonna touch the bandwidth price, let alone double it. I myself love the idea. I really like when the models interact with us average joes.

And I don't want this to sound like I'm being a dick, but if the bandwidth each month is killing Rob, then maybe it's time to shutdown? It's called the cost of doing business. Nothing pisses me off more then doctors or business owners bitching about how much it costs to run their business or taxes, while running around in a million dollar car or home. Just be thankful your not one of the 600,000(me included) who lost his job last month and you have the resources to run or own your company.

I don't know where you've got your double bandwidth theory from.
Taking 7000 posts (we've got less) of Geezer's relay post size (it's above average) we get to less than 25 MB for the text of the whole forum. That's about 25 seconds of 8 Mbit/sec HD video - about enough to see Rob cough and recover. ;)

I would very much like to see Violet and more FTV models join this forum and chat with their fans. If they are really interested, they'll behave themselves. They could be thrown out like any other member, should they cause trouble.

I don't like the idea of having to go around 10, 20 different girl sites, just to stay in touch. I've got no time for that.

Why not use this forum? (If Danielle agrees, that is.) We already discuss the girl's shoots and more here.
Each girl with her own active site could have their own section (that would be Danielle and Lia, we already have that), FTV Girls could have their own thread or leaf in the FTV section. (This forum's software has the potential for more levels.) We have threads about some of them anyway.

And I don't think all of the models would want such a level of contact to the viewers of their shoots. For some (most?) models FTV is just a step into the adult business anyhow. I'm thinking about exclusive / reappearing girls who might want to join in. From these there aren't that many.

Well, guys, our little Violet is turning 27 on August 3 2009.

I went to an art and wine festival yesterday with an 8 by 10 glossy of her from the neck up. I have a favorite jewelry artist who works these street festivals so I took the photo to her booth, found several pieces (necklaces and earrings) and laid them on her photo to see how they looked. On a scale of 1 - 10, the vast majority of the FTV girls are pushing the 10 end of the scale, so clearly most of these wonderful girls are a tough act to follow. But even in this huge collection incredible hot young ladies, Violet stands apart from the crowd. I got it purely by chance. A couple of years ago, Rob and I exchanged emails on something and he included an email from her with her address showing. When the forum members started wishing for an update shoot on Violet, I took a chance and wrote to the address. About a month after I wrote, she actually replied and was literally SO HAPPY to hear from a "fan."

Well, considering that Violet warned me she SLEEPS IN LATE (maybe gets up around 10:30-11:00 AM and likes to hit the clubs late at night, we won't have a ton of time for other things. I have tickets to see (1) KA, (2) Le Reve, (3) I Believe and (4) Zumanity. We will do dinner, the shows, and then play it by ear. Heck, I'd be happy just meet her for lunch so staying with for FOUR days and nights in my hotel room, wozzer! I am really excited about this trip.:D

Don't need them - I work out at my gym about 27-28 days out of each month - an hour to 90 minutes of cardio and some weight training. My heart is fine... I'm just worried about my mental stability when I see Violet coming down the airport walkway to get her bags. I might pass out from excitement about that moment.

Fortunately, I watched one of her later "updates" in which she actually arrived at the Phoenix airport and while Rob filmed away, she and Alison got all caught up. I have this imagine of her in my brain and wonder what she looks like now.

That's an interesting question as we never saw all the 'Blast from the Past' updates.

Fiona was the "September 2009" of those updates so it's easy to assume there was supposed to be three more to come in 2009. Yes, Fiona appeared in March 2010 but it seems the update was originally planned for 2009...

A few days ago, I posted about meeting Violet in Vegas. The "plan" was for me to book a seven night stay in the MGM Grand - a "queen bungalow suite" - and have one lady friend stay with me the first three nights following by Violet the last four. Before I departed for Sin City, Violet asked me to meet her at the airport and help carry her luggage. She was bringing two large suitcases, a backpack, and her purse. Following our four days together, she planned to travel to LA and do some Adult Photo Shoots - just to get her feet wet after being away from the "industry" for nearly three years.

A few weeks ago, I asked both women what shows they wanted to see and, of course, they chose the expensive ones. I spent over $1,500 just on seven pair of tickets. The first lady would see "O," "Jersey Boys" and "Jubilee" with me. Turns out, she arrived sick and left me a day early. I had to "eat" the cost of her ticket. But, I still had my four days with Violet to look forward to. We had agreed that, besides the shows (Zumanity, "I Believe," "Le Reve" and "KA"), we would ride some roller coasters, visit the Mirage's Secret Gardens, and maybe hang out by the MGM Grand pool complex. As any "fan" would be, I was extremely excited to meet "Violet" and especially to share my hotel room with her. NOTHING sexual - just friends having a good time.

Well, let me tell everyone here what actually happened. It was like a nightmare! I got to the airport early and bought a shuttle bus ticket for her. I checked the inbound schedule over and over and her flight was arriving on time. I was so nervous I almost peed on myself. Then, I look up and see her walking towards me - trying to find me - I suppose.

Then, after I caught her eye and hugged her "hello" she introduced me to a guy about her age. I assumed she met him on the flight and they would go their separate ways. Nooooooo!!!!! Turns out, the "guy" is her Ex Husband. Just the day before, after weeks of her having a restraining order against him, they "started talking again." She wanted to see if they could "make it work for the sake of her two children" and just couldn't imagine flying down to see ME with him left behind. So, the day before she was to arrive, they booked him on the plane and, together, they found a room at the Tropicana Hotel across the street from the Grand. At least she was courteous enough to stay nearby but, still, can you imagine the shocked look on my face?

I spent thousands of dollars on my flights, the hotel room, and the show tickets. I'm going to Scandinavia for three weeks soon and needed this Vegas Expense like a hole in my head. But, for the chance to hang out with my first friend (it was her birthday) and with Violet, I was willing to spend the money.

So, with the Ex around, what to do... what TO DO??? Well, I am certain most men would say "screw you and the horse you rode in on" but I took the High Road. We went to dinner at New York NY after they got settled into their room.

The next three days, they went about their "couples business" and when they invited me to tag along, I went. Talk about a "third wheel!" They never got started before one or two PM so I spent hours sitting in my room waiting for them to call. The pool at the Tropicana was under repairs so they asked if they could hang out at the MGM's pool - with me, of course. The wind was blowing like crazy most of the days and we could only get one "pool day" under our belts.

So, long story short, I ONLY saw Violet when we met each other before the four shows, during the shows, and until I dropped her back at her hotel lobby immediately after the shows. I had a million questions to ask her but just never got the opportunity.

Now, here is the final straw! I picked her up the last night to see "Le Reve" at the Wynn hotel. It was Sat. night, the Strip was a parking lot, and we asked our taxi driver to take the freeway even though it was out of the way. The first three nights, she was all dressed up and looking cute as hell. I wore a suit and tie each night. So, I got her Sat. night and she hadn't been to bed in over 36 hours. After I dropped her off Friday night, she and the Ex went out drinking until 4:00 AM at which time they fought and she stormed off. She was up all of Friday night and still drinking with some "locals" she met well into Sat. afternoon.

She was in no shape to go out with me then on Sat. night. Unlike the first three nights, she wanted NOTHING to drink and couldn't even eat a little popcorn. A few minutes after "Le Reve" started, she excused herself and went to the bathroom. This happened a 2nd time before she told me the usher would allow her to sit in the VIP circle at the back of the theater. I let her go as I liked my seat. We agreed to meet following the show.

I got her and we started for the taxi stand. She about fainted and dropped to the floor. I had no idea what to do but a nice hotel guest came over and "comforted" Violet until the EMT van arrived. She was shaking and her skin was tingling all over. She said she couldn't breathe. The last I saw of her, she was being driven off in the emergency vehicle with her Ex jumping out of his taxi and into the EMT van.

I came home the next day, Sunday, and hadn't heard from her. On Monday morning, she called me to say it was an "anxiety attack." I think we all assumed she was dehydrated from the drinking or had low blood sugar because she hadn't eaten ANYTHING in over 24 hours. She just didn't have any appetite, she said. In fact, she and the Ex paid $26.00 - each - for a buffet at the Mirage and she ate all of two bites.

So, that is my story and you Can't Make this Stuff Up. I had very high expectations for a great trip with two sweet ladies and both of them left me dazed and confused. I really hope the Ex has turned a new leaf and they can resolved their issues for the sake of the kids. As far as I know, once the Ex agreed to come, she canceled her plan to do Adult Work in LA. But, she still hopes to do it again one day. She will need to drop about 15 pounds by her own admission.:cool:

Here is what I know for sure: Rob once PMed me to say "Violet is one of the most selfless people I know." I have been emailing with Violet for over a year. She has always been sweet to me... even sending a birthday gift to me. In Vegas, sure, I was upset/disappointed to have the ex there but... when we were together, just her and me or all three of us, she was nice, sweet, funny, and outgoing. They were there for a "romantic interlude" but she still called me each day to update me and invite me to hang with them. They paid for all of their own meals and transportation costs rather than asking me to pay. My original offer to Violet was that it would cost HER nothing - I'd pay for all of her expensives including meals drinks. Once the ex showed up, I didn't pay anything for either of them. So, in the Big Picture, I actually saved money on this trip.:D

I think after the fight with her Ex, she should have come to you to talk. That would have been better for her health and for you.

I've googled her real name and nothing comes up. I am not at liberty to give out her real name unless she starts working again under that name.
